There is ESCI, Fujimi, Hasegawa and Airfix Sea Harrier FRS 1 models in 1/72. The newest one is Airfix. I have purchased this long time ago, but as 40 years anniversary on Falkland war came I decided that it would be nice to build this to companion Airfix A-4P Skyhawk from Argentinian side which I built last year.
Airfix SHAR is straight forward build and although it is a bit simple I decided to build that out of the box. However it really needs some upgrade to cockpit as I wanted to build the cockpit canopy open. There is many details which are not present in Arifix tooling, although they appear in color/decalling guide. Perhaps Airfix does these for price point and when the model first was announced it wasn't a bad price, but nowadays as the 25eur ask is a bit lot for these details.
Someone likes that Airfix panel lines are too big, but under the paint they look nice in my opinion. And you don't have to be careful with your sanding or painting as you can't totally miss those panel lines. Fit is good and there is no place where tooling would be somehow erroneous. Plastic is a bit soft, but it reacts to Tamiya Extra thin very nicely. Surface is not high shine, but I think that with this kind of plastic it is not possible and not needed as there is no need for metal finish.
Carpet monster ate one photo etch harness from the most noticeable place, but I did replacement from masking tape and painted it similarity to the another one, so you barely can notice it unless you know. The pre-shading and mottling was useless as I used so many weathering products after that. However I'm happy with the result, but next tile I would make some more details to it.

Which adhesive are you using to bond the components?

Which components do you mean? For main parts I use Tamiya Extra thin glue and for photo etch parts I use super glue and Micro Kristal Clear

I think Tamiya only has 1/48 Sea Harrier, but as I have heard it is not great..

@@TV-ez4md well not really with a few addons like resin ejection seat and paicence adding details using a drill and cutting stuff it can be pretty good but it isn’t good out of the box and it needs a lot of filling so yeah it kinda sucks but it is easy to make it good
