the new wind mantle ability is also really good for buzzsaw charge blade as well. One level of it reduces the cooldown on ready stance to the point where you can infinitely loop it with 2 bugs, which means it might be able to replace wirebug whisperer 3, opening up more skills. The caveat is that it needs you to use 2 or 3 silkbind moves before that can happen.
It's really cool that it's not just a "This can be slapped into any build" type of skill, as it has negative synergy even with some wirebug moves, like Power Sheathe for GS. I'm definitely gonna be playing around with it.
It is really annoying when compared to World. Rise Kushala's hit zones are really annoying speaking as someone who uses bow mainly. Using bow against Kushala in W:I was fun and I could cut its tail off with just 3 or 4 good positioned Dragon Piercers when doing it solo.
@Dian Slabbert I think ranged weapon users might be the only people who prefer World Kushala, for melee combat the fight is 100x better (and actually enjoyable) in Rise.
i've already slain 4 Risen Doara's this morning after failing once; i only have 1 more Risen Daoragem to go and the layered set will be mine (perhaps i'll craft the actual armour somewhere down the line). LOVE what they've done with Risen Daora; espescially his Super Breath (at 1:53. it's what i call the attack).
Kind of wish CAPCOM gave us the option to upgrade the current elder dragon weapons though through curio crafting. Like a Risen type of upgrade instead of just power/affinity/element/slot.
Fight was fantastic, new look is fantastic, armour looks fantastic, super recovery deco to boot. The waist is amazing for an immortal build, 3 recovery up, 2 attack boost, 2 kush blessing, 3 and 1 slot. chuck in 1 deco and you're set. getting attack boost 7 in set at the expense of 1 defense jewel feels real good.
Risen Kushala on my first hunt gave me 2 of his Risegems, his tight is incredible and the super move doesn't make it easy for me to constantly bowgun or strongarm stance
I also got 2 Daora risegems from that Risen Kushala quest as well, I main Switch Axe. Yeah these new Risen Elders are definitely no joke R. Kushala with the those crazy wind attacks and R. Teostra with those powerful flames and deadly Supernova attack. This is definitely the best Title Update so far!
The Blessing is just a one slot. Oh... The chaos that is going to bring for those who want to move away from Kushala's armor set (that is if they wanted to considering all the fancy new goodies the Risen has brought).
@@itsukakasuga6732 well quick sheath does work on LS’s sheath moves so possibly? Besides it was clear Harvest Moon has some of the sheath counters in mind with how it works so it’s possible it’s marked in the coding that the sheaths don’t deactivate it

i just killed my first risen kushala, i joined a lobby, ten secconds in i somehow got disconnected, so i continued even though his health pool is quadropled, i only fainted once and i was on cloud nine when i sent a rajang beam across his face.
Did they fixed Kushala Blessing? Because in the past the health regeneration stopped as soon as you got Bloodblight. And in the endgame all monsters can inflict this status, Kushala Blessing becomes completely useless.

higiher than 30 element weakness lmao sure buddy. it still baffles me that a "weakness" is the difference between like 10% damage to what's on paper so a good one is 30% at best outside some weird scenarios. why is element weird? i get that tough hide for raw and shit but how is everything almost immune to every element as they cap out at a 30% damage mod and call that a weakness, in any other game that's a high resistance guys.

level 1 daora gems are nice, no longer are water/ice elemental build restricted by the terrible slots and skills on regular daora armor.

In this game the monster's health scales back dynamically when you get disconnected or when players leave the quest. Just FYI... congrats tho!
