I really like that sunbreak is slowly getting more and more power crept because of the title updates. It makes it easier to deal with the insane health pools of anomaly monsters

Most of the anomaly hunts I do and have seen gameplays of seems to be in the sweet spot for me in terms of time as in they take more than 15 mins but less than 25 mins to complete so I would say they're not punching bags and they die relatively quickly.

I think right now monster hunter is at a level where it will be difficult if you don't learn monsters and your weapon properly. Without it being really annoying like the end game of gu where you get 2 shot by later level deviants. Most builds in Sunbreak can't just tank hits like their nothing.
3:44 +4 slots has always been possible, just impractically rare. In all my grinding for augments, I only got it once while augmenting Espinas' pants. But if you look at an augment table, even armor pieces in group 6 can technically get +4 slots by giving up a single skill and some defense. Therefore the only problem left is that it's still a 7 in 500,000 chance to get it while assuming you only use skills+ to guarantee losing a skill. Without skills+, it goes does down to 7 in 25 million.
As a newer player who just unlocked anomaly quest's, I'm already exhausted from watching this video and learning how much I have to grind in order to unlock things.
One thing you forgot to mention is that all armor pieces got 3 more levels added to their upgrade cap in this update. From what I've seen when upgrading these new levels give 1 Def point per level, so all armor sets can get +15 extra Def. Not a lot, but still very nice.
That definitely helps. I was scratching my head while trying to figure out why my weapon was stronger than the base weapon (in terms of raw attack) when I never modified the attack stat.

I am genuinely surprised that this update wasn't lackluster. They brought back Frostcraft and did a slight buff to it so GS can use it's TC at 30% attack buff (time to dust off my crit draw playstyle from MHGU), overall buff to anomaly weapon slot upgrades for just simply unlocking them, more decos with more skills on 'em, and making the "rage quit" button: Risen CG Valstrax. He is no friggen joke lol. Also did anyone notice how the Azure Era weapons got layered versions in this update too? Freddy foreshadowing would like to chime in...
For me; Risen CGV basically said “don’t even attempt to element phial CB” And so I instead brought one of my Lance builds… didn’t cart once lol Then again; I got a sneak peak at him via a livestream and I recently had to farm an Anomaly Investigation that had a CGV in it so I’m well practiced against him!
They well most certainly save the strongest decos for the very end I think that if we get 2 more TUs; it will be: TU5: -Amatsu -Risen Shagaru Magala TU6: -A new Elder Dragon -a new Malzeno, my idea was a “Devoured Malzeno” one that is currently and/or has been literally eaten alive by it’s crazed Qurio swarm Risen Shagaru would unlock at MR 180 and that Malzeno variant would be the MR 200 unlock
I am happy that weapon slots for qurio crafting now do something it was one of the issues I had because I found the idea that you get one slot but to actually upgrade you needed 2 now that's no longer the case

Its not that bad tbh, I was in the same spot 2 days ago and I'm now close to 200. Try to focus on A7 Investigations with handicaps like 25 min 1 cart. Monsters will have less hp and you get way more exp. Good luck friend!

@@CensorShtTube if the RNG was more forgiving, or if you could at least aim for skills you want, then maybe it would be better, but at the moment a lot of the builds that are like "oh use this skill" also require like 8 different qurios abilities that are fully up to the whims of fate, it's so annoying Iceborne was the same with the Kjarr weapons
Already updated my immortal set. Used Risen Kushala and Gold Rath mix with Rajang Lega. Luckily i have Rajang legs with +3 Crit boost. My defence is around 950+ now.
Theirs only two decorations I'm looking for and is 4slot plus 4 att/crit. Unfortunately looking at all the videos haven't seen it yet and this like the most update video for decoration.

Intrepid Heart and Embolden on 1 and 2 slot decos respectively is pretty massive.
Very wasn't a fan of violet mizu armor but tried to embolden decos and makes a big different be tanking hits like nothing

I just waiting for Dereliction to be in either decos or crafting. Those Abyssal arms and legs have been on for nearly every hunt.
The ' +4 ' exist before this update, i got 2x Rare 8 & 1x Rare 9 armour with that few months ago before they patches the reset skill pools methods.

The weapons augment changes are not "just for fun" it gives all the new content to the endgame a progression path.
