Anyway the night I had it done me and my friends were going out on the town to celebrate our birthdays ALOT of drinks later I go to the toilet and yank my French knickers ( pure lace) down catching my piercing I let out the biggest scream luckily there was just a bit of blood but the pain was unbearable I walked out of the cubicle to everyone staring at me asking if I was OK the looks I got when I told them what had happened. 15 years later the piercing is fine and I love it but long story short do not wear French knickers with downstairs piercings . I can't even imagine having an eyelid piercing. If I get even the smallest eyelash stuck in my eye, I absolutely lose my mind. The idea of a big ass piece of metal constantly touching my eyeball? Absolutely revolting.
It's a bit of dust the size of a teeny sand grain, stuck under the eyelid, but feels like a broken mirror sharp boulder. Couldn't imagine having a piece of metal there 24/7 *shudder*
Last week I heard 2 girls (no older than 14) complaining that the "upstairs bathroom" at their school got closed because someone got caught trying to get a piercing in there. I know, it's really bad, but at least the teachers are actively trying to stop people from getting piercings in the school bathroom. 😅
The person with the cheek stretchers uses plugs most of the time- especially when he eats/drinks. He only wears tunnels for photos and videos for the shock factor

My friend got his ear pierced today, and he wanted to get it done at claires (because he's scared of needles) and i managed to convince him to go to a proper piercing shop. He was talking about the fact that he was going to go to claires and the piercer was telling him why piercing guns were bad, and it was exactly the same things i was telling him. I've got loads of knowledge from your videos and was very smug today after hearing that

Every time I get into this conversation with someone who can't understand why piercing guns are bad, I just tell them to visualize a hole punch on paper, versus taking a sharp pencil and stabbing through the paper, and then compare the two results.... that usually helps my case! 😂

Hi Roly. I’m nearly sixty years old and I have multiple ear piercing, blue hair and I got a tattoo. Not only do my kids approve they paid for my tattoo as my Christmas present. Really enjoying watching your videos.
My daughter allows my grandsons to express themselves freely. My 6 year old grandson has already had blue hair, green hair, and a Mohawk. He also frequently gets his nails polished. Presently his finger and toenails are painted rainbow colors. My 4 year old grandson has just joined the party by getting his nails done like his older brother's. The next project for the boys is going to be rainbow hair for the 6 year old and orange hair for the 4 year old. I just love how unique my grandsons are!
I'm so happy for your grandkids. My mom isn't much against colourful expression, but she doesn't find it aestheticly, so she only allowed me to dye my hair at 14. (She told me I wanted a black and red mohaw so badly at 6 years old) I'm in my mid 20s now, and I still have colourful mohawks \m/
I’m still of the belief that piercing guns should be outlawed. All they do is cause minor blunt force trauma to the area you’re piercing. And as for that lady getting the dermal, I hope she found or finds a way to out that piercer. No good piercer would A: treat their clients like that and B: they’d do the job right. It didn't even look like the piercer bothered to mark the spot first so I am assuming the poor client hadn't had a chance to agree to placement before he literally pounced and stabbed her. Hope she does him for assault.
I'm going to guess that person has solid discs in their cheeks when they're not doing videos or photos, it'd be really awkward to drink, eat and even swallow with those in I think, since your mouth would essentially never be "closed" to help create a vacuum
My piercer actually also didn't warn me when he pierced my septum. Everything else was perfectly fine, he talked me through it and followed protocol on everything. He told me afterwards that he intentionally didn't warn me to avoid me focusing on that area at the moment the needle went through. I wasn't sure how to feel about it, but the way he put it, I would've probably stiffened up more and thus felt more pain if he had warned me or done a countdown
I was prepared already for my snake bites, once I had the clamp on the first side I was immediately expecting it the whole time, but my piercer purposely didn't tell me until after both, that the 2nd one is worse cos of the lack of extra adrenaline, and that's the only thing that I'd personally excuse lol cos it actually didn't feel *that* much worse, both of them hurt me quite a lot cos of my low asf pain threshold lol, and telling me would've just panicked me

Idk if things have maybe changed since I had mine, but the twisting the needle to make a 'pocket' under the skin was pretty much the standard way of doing dermals here in the US about 10 years ago. There's stupid legal issues around using a dermal punch and how some places here consider that a medical procedure that you can't do outside of a medical facility, even though that would be so much easier and cause less frequent rejections. It's not as bad as it looks. I had three done in one go.
I HATE the way they do it with a needle and would highly suggest to anyone if their state has made the punch illegal and they're close enough to drive across state lines to get a punch done, do it. No it's doesn't hurt any worse, but it absolutely does bruise worse, doesn't sit like a punch, and has a higher rejection rate.
As the "weird mom" at school, I can confirm my children give no shits whether I have red contacts, a huge door knocker through my septum, spooky tattoos, whatever. But the other parents look at me like I'm looking to melt their children into candles. In this day and age you think we'd be past this already. Work in progress 🙏

I see doctors/get shots regularly and before they stick me they ALWAYS say "okay, this is gonna sting a bit" whether it hurts more or not, they do tell you when they're about to stick you with the needle. I've never just been stuck and wasn't aware when it would happen... at least for me.
I was a phlebotomist and I never stuck anyone without notice. In my classes my instructor made a huge deal out of it because people can jump if startled and if small venipuncture needles can injure people I don't even want to think about the injuries that can happen from larger piercing needles! Just omg that guy should NOT be piercing anyone!
personally because of my anemia paired with needles making me light headed, I ask people to not tell me when they are about to poke me so that I can close my eyes and prevent myself from flinching.

I recently went to get my Medusa pierced and whilst I was there a 12 year old girl was about to get her ears pierced, when I heard her ask the piercer, can you use a gun?? The piercer said no and explained why. YES, constant exposure to the air will damage your mouth. Bacteria that need air will thrive and your mouth can start to stink, your mouth will dry up and saliva is one of the things that helps to naturally wash away bacteria, so that will contribute to the stink. Your gums will start to have issues, too, because they're supposed to be wet at all times, not drying out. Any type of stretching that leaves the inside of your mouth exposed is a horrible idea. These are facts. The part where I think it looks like s**t is just my opinion and not everyone needs to share it, but the rest you ignore at your peril.

I swear I read an article in Cosmo Girl in like 2001 saying that it was a Bad Idea to get cartilage pierced with a gun - and that it can shatter cartilage and make your ear collapse. I recently went to get my Medusa pierced and whilst I was there a 12 year old girl was about to get her ears pierced, when I heard her ask the piercer, can you use a gun?? The piercer said no and explained why. The girls Nan then said remember you have to turn your piercings, omg why is this still a thing 😱 the trigger train was literally going so fast the wheels fell off 🤭

I had the pleasure of meeting Elaine Davidson in 2004 at a haunted house I worked at. She and her friend ended up hanging out at the bar with me and some of my coworkers for a little bit. She said she liked the way I danced. Such a wonderful and beautiful person. I'd love to see her again one day. She still holds the world record 💜💜💜

Oh god, imagine a septum with a piercing gun- that sounds horrible
YES, constant exposure to the air will damage your mouth. Bacteria that need air will thrive and your mouth can start to stink, your mouth will dry up and saliva is one of the things that helps to naturally wash away bacteria, so that will contribute to the stink. Your gums will start to have issues, too, because they're supposed to be wet at all times, not drying out. Any type of stretching that leaves the inside of your mouth exposed is a horrible idea. These are facts. The part where I think it looks like s**t is just my opinion and not everyone needs to share it, but the rest you ignore at your peril.
