Fun fact: in Circe Saga there is one offscreen death. It was Elpenor, he got drunk in Puppeteer and fell off the roof of Circe's palace before crew got turned into pigs. There is cut out song about him that supposed to be part of Underworld Saga but it was unintentionally comedic so Jorge decided to cut it.
Some additional insights: 1. A lot of animatics don't really portray this too well, but the spirits don't actually acknowledge Odysseus. They are simply stuck on a loop singing their final thoughts. 2. Apparently in the original Odysseus tried to hug his mother three times but was unable to. 3. 558 is actually counting one extra from the previous numbers. There was actually a death back at Cerce's palace.
i love that detail, it's a good way to portray that the soul of the infant is somewhere down there too, but it can't speak yet so it's conveyed through music
I love the writing of this saga. First song he is confronted by his past, the second he gazes upon his future and the third song is about the choice she needs to make now, in the present. I loved
For the Thunder Saga I know there are definitely some animatics I’m looking forward to still in the works but for what’s out now I’d recommend Gigi for Suffering, YourLocalAnimations for Different Beast, Ximena Natzel for Scylla, Riley G for Mutiny, and Duvetbox for Thunder Bringer Riley G’s Mutiny just came out and it’s soooo good!!

so yeah after the reveal in thunder saga (if you know you know) imagine how guilty Eurylochus feels at seeing the men who had died? anyway yes the underworld is devastating for both Ody and us lol. a lot of people like to say that the reason Polites was singing softer than usual is because he is holding and singing to the infant Ody had dropped- Ody mom was also played by Jorge actual mother so very emotional song for them as well. along with the spirits saying their final thoughts meaning Polites died believing in greeting the world with open arms? This song is stuffed full of trauma- surely nothing worse can come up after this (glances at thunder saga) yeah i mean there is no way it can get worse!

Gigi just released the BEST animatic for the Suffering - the first song in the thunder saga! I would suggest using that one for that song

This is the first time I’ve listened to the Underworld (and you know I’ve heard it dozens of times) where I didn’t start crying.
Ive listened to this song probably a dozen times now and every single time it tears my hearts out and stomps on it

I think crashite's scylla is better, yes ximena has the scarier design but crashite is much more dynamic
