I dont see the obsession with humanoid robots they should be trying to make robots that take the manual labor load off of society. they dont need to resemble us
The reason is to take immediate advantage of already-existing infrastructure built for humans, this way these robots can become drop-in replacements for fired human workers without the need to build new infrastructure specifically for better-shaped robots.
they seem to bulky and slow. The people working on those workplaces have an specific norm which they are achieving way faster than those robots. And besides, that kind of factory already have an multitude of mechanical and electrical system to mantain. Is it worth replacing several cheaper workers with expensive robots which will require high end specialized and costly labor to mantain them? who will support the extra-costs?
Why can't you look to the future? Not everything is about the here and now. AI and Robotics will continue to progress to the point where they surpass humans and are cheaper to maintain, it is inevitable.

Just another shiny hype video meant to attract investors and increase stock prices. Robot hardware is not that difficult, but AI is the part that is hard and still is decades away from actually being useful in such a factory setting. These robots can occasionally do something that looks impressive, but this AI architecture will not lead to something that is reliable and can turn a profit.

I don't see these iterations being profitable at all, at least not commercially. If they want to continue R&D to make them viable then they need to keep courting investors and if they can do that for a few years then these things will become amazing... Or terrifying
