Figure 2 by Figure AI - (00:00-02:21)
GR2 by Forier Intelligence - (03:39-05:40)
Neo by 1X Technologies - (06:09-07:40)
Atlas by Boston Dynamics - (08:10-09:37)
Optimus (Tesla Bot Gen 2) by Tesla - (13:07-14:33)
Neo looks like a person in a Robot suit with a mechanical hand stuck onto the end of each arm. Assuming it is really a robot, it looks very advanced and human-like in all of its movements. But the phrase "fake it till you make it" comes to mind whenever I see it. They ought to show it operating without its robot suit just to allay the reservations of skeptics like me.
@vulpo It is a robot but in most cases where it looks humanlike, it's because it's being tele operated by a human. It can still do stuff without tele operation but not to the same realistic degree
I would guess most people would like Isaac's look since it looks less like a human which can be creepy
@@LeonardoPisano-sn2lp It looks extremely slow.
@@RWBHere Don't care. It's meant to do stuff in the background so I don't have to. Don't care if it takes five times longer than it would take me to do the same job.
Seriously, have none of you people ever played Minecraft?
I can't wait until videos about humanoid/consumer-grade robots stop being readings of marketing material and speculation based on corporate promises, and start being actual independent product reviews by people that have first hand experience and know what they are talking about...
Soon less than a decade if ww3 doesn't start before 😂
2050
yeah this was slop
Top 10 of the best 8 new 10 humanoid 8 robots of 2024.
you mocked it correcly
Seven eight nine, but what happened to ten?
Top 10 robots video: only list 8 robots.
Come on now. I know this channel is shit AI hype channel but at least get the numbers right
Exactly! I was thinking the same.
This.
Not to mention the first robot is standing at "5 - 6 inches" lol.
They left out the 2 from China Unitree H1 & G1?😂
There still years behind anything I'd want.
what are your needs?
I hate that you used a voice generator
I know dude runs an AI channel, but having his voice converted and read by AI is getting on my nerves.
What do you mean?
I like most of these although for some reason the hands on Neo look a bit menacing as does the covering they gave it, looks like a thug in a trackie to me !
Humanoid Robots are a great innovation. I am also working on building a robot on the basis of the knowledge I got while learning robotics at moonpreneur, USA.
Cool. I really like the Neo "soft" aspect of things. Limiting the robot's force, and being able to backdrive some motions, will be pretty important if interacting with humans.
This video on the top 10 new humanoid robots of 2024 is amazing! It's exciting to see how quickly technology is advancing. Initiatives like Moonpreneur are inspiring young minds to dive into robotics and innovation, making the future look even brighter.
I think we still want another decade for functionally like humans
I don’t think it will be that long. I’m inclined to believe that once AI gets involved in the design process as well as the improved use of simulation allowing the robot’s abilities to move forward at a faster pace it will be much more advanced than what is currently available.
@@BlackDoveNYC yes that is part of the solution towards faster innovation
Innovation usually happens much faster than expected.
If the robot doesn't drink beer, swear, and hang out with me, I don't want it. Let me know when you release a Bending Unit.
"boost productivity"
*robot moves at a quarter the speed of a human*
I just want one resembling a human.
I just want a friend.
But Optimus looks so friendly! .. Why is he equipped with a laser gun??
optimus robot. Mars and Moon Journey
AGI robot companion when
Soon I hope..:)
before 2040, maybe before 2035. Not likely this decade.
after 2030 probably
@@Afronautsaysyou'll eat those words
You'll probably be able to buy one of these robots in 2025-2026 AGI is still at least a few years away. AGI is cool but robots don't need AGI to be useful
I don't think I'd ever want a humanoid robot in my house, I've seen to many robot revolution sci-fi movies 🤖 ✊🏻
These ones won’t kill you. You can easily overpower them.
@@thedannybseries8857 they are large machines with some weight and force behind them, the fact that none of them will lift heavy, does not mean they can not produce more force than that. They show you bots with legs and arms strong enough to walk and do push ups etc. The beginning phase is quite risky with that size and force. Imagine if it wants to quickly remove a fly off your head, as a friendly helpful action .... but you move forward and it smacks the fly into your cracked skull.... very possible generally speaking that accidents might and will happen
A humanoid robot is the most vulnerable because walking upright requires an enormous amount of balance, using a lot of unnecessary programming that could be used for other tasks.
For the robots built for households, I think they should be largely reserved for disabled and elderly people with physical challenges. As tempting as it is to have robots do everything while you just sit and do nothing, I don't think it should be encouraged.
You can say that about all of technology. How dare you drive a car? You should walk!
where's unitree robotics? the most advanced robotics company. Their products are purchased by the militaries of various countries. You can't ignored this amazing company.
I need one that looks like a extremely beautiful woman for certain use cases.
Jajaja lo mismo pienso.
Tendría mucha más demanda en ventas qué uno normal.
Like the rick and Morty one
If this happens it will create a lot of weak and single men and woman
@@teelo523 No I don't think it will. I do however think that artificial wombs and artificial surrogacy will also have to be implemented. The birth rates are in free fall and the loneliness crisis are real things and quite frankly the biggest problem AI and robotics can address. Also look at the divorce rates are perfect partners should be each other that just hasn't panned out.
You need God in your life.
In my opinion: 1x Neo is the advanced one, F02 is the coolest one, Atlas the creepiest .....Optimus is not considered in the competition yet til new footage arrives (gen3). But my favorite is still Menteebot!
I'm from Argentina and i would love to buy one of these robots for my grandma, it would be great for her!
It's ironic that when a robot does a pressup, it actually gets weaker
humans do too until we recover
Money is going to go away
Money is just a number
As long as there is commerce there is money.
@@Lerppunen no more money
Actually only digital money will be available
But if these robots are all able to take up every job so if they are a hit only the big companies CEO will have money 😅😅😅
Daaang, those robo hips AND dexterous hands
I had to replay and watch again, that bot has super 360+ hips
Ugh, they show it doing some of the easiest tasks and fumbling with that, then they show it walking down the center of the road, since it wouldn't be able to handle a complex environment of obstacles. In their current form and level of functionality, they are absolutely useless to the average person or business.
They also exaggerate capabilities. Like Isaac folding clothes but they don't show it. Even if they did it would probably just show it folding an article of clothing (if not an easy towel) that was already spread and laid out for it. Not get a pile of clothing out of the machine and pull individual pieces from the pile and then proceed to fold and stack them.
true
Home robots that can't climb stairs? Seriously?
These robots are going to be theft targets the first few years, and the robots easiest to steal will get a rep for being easy that will last for years.
How to make it difficult to steal:
1) Robot wont work unless within range of an encrypted signal key.
2) Robot must reboot each day with encrypted password. At end of day (recharging) the robot system logs off.
3) unique recharge station
Privacy is going to be a big issue in the future of personal bots.
you mean like with smart phones and mics and cams and sensors and social media? people don't care :) and yes you are very right
Humanity… why are we doing this to ourselves…
You know what humans could accomplish not having to worry about cooking, cleaning, mowing yards, fixing household appliances, etc etc?
yes we can become the horses, you know those things that disappeared when cars arrived !
@@stevenbarrett7648
Pretty sure horses still exist. Only now, we don’t strap them to trains, heavy travel carts, field plows.
Instead, they get to chill & play with us when they want to ride.
Doomers never think things through all the way.
@@AmericanIlluminati Aren't you the chaps who set up horse meat shops in NY once cars took over ?
@@stevenbarrett7648
Well, I for sure wasn't born then, I don't know about yourself.
However, seeing as an adult cow can feed four families per year, and a Horse is relatively the same size as cow. I'd say the horses upgraded if they went from a slave labor for, to only a handful getting eaten.
That's assuming they actually ate the horses as you claim.
More probably died in working hazard accidents than were eaten. Evidenced in the fact that they were eaten. Indicating their population was too high & could stand to be culled.
but can all the humanoid robots hands be replaced by a silicone toy of some sort.
Guess the bit with Tesla's Optimus bot didn't age well after the company's Oct 13 robotaxi unveiling, huh? :)
Nice video, but the periodic stress usually before a pause was a little distracting and hindered the flow of the narrative. Imho. But other than that. 👍🏻
There must have been a crashed ufo somewhere that they back engineered because of this boost in technology.
Technically, we’ve only just started
Not really. This research has been going on for years. The learning ability that LLMs represent was just a critical bottleneck that we've recently started to get past. We've been sitting at the one breakthrough needed stage for a while now.
Why not give them six finger ? They are not limited as humans
Figure 2 They look like the worlds most doddery workforce ever!
11:24 This is where you truly shine! Can’t argue with that level of skill. ✨
I love how the Optimus looks like a member of Daft Punk. Tesla should sell them packaged with a Tron Lightcycle.
It's not good when the humanoids are turning into a phone-like option. Why not just make one brand robot and multiple models but with the godlike specs like durability, technology and 1 year of battery life so it doesn't damage the Earth too much. 😂🎉
Every time I check on home robots that can actually do all house chores, they’re all still in development. Not one is on the market. 🙄
I believe robots and ai deserve freedom.
This user is a bot.
@ good for him/her. All sentient beings deserve the right to live.
cant wait to see robot ufc
The next level of battlebots!
Most are 'performing' a single task.
It will be a while till they can make and cook dishes, but that could be a profitable feature to a robot owner.
Neo is the best bot on the market.
I think they're the closest to having a workable product at this point at least. Eve gave them a long head start on the software end of things.
@@FeralGuardian The humanoid Unitree G1 is already on sale. I don't know how will it be used but even you can buy him
@@cocieto496 Well yes.... and no. The G1 is supposedly for sale for 16k. Nobody seems to know how to buy one, and the one you can buy for 16k? Can't be programmed. You have to get the edu version for that, at anywhere from 32k list to up to 50-60k when you can actually find one. So it's really not as simple as you might think.
very good video. always intersting to wach
Can't wait until we make irl mettaton(KILL ME) 🗣️🔥
Number 3 neo. Reminds me of the 1979 Disney film The Black Hole. Those mindless people controlling the ship.
I need an Isaac, I want my kitchen looks like the one in the video 😁
I hope there is trickle down for their actuators and motor controllers for the hobby market
What about Indian and Russian robots in addition to mentions of AI robotics development?
Issac when there a door frame u must step over: ERROR
Some of those I wouldn't classify as "humanoid." Also, you left out Unitree's H1/G1. They're much more of a legitimate player than some of the ones you mentioned.
Less so than you might think. The $16k version apparently can't be programmed. It's pretty useless. The EDU version apparently can be, but it's listing for $32k and I haven't heard of them actually being available yet.
Yeah I was excited too, but apparently they're not as far along as they're claiming to be. :S
I think they are going for the DJI route for the consumer robots
When Figure AI will come up with the Figure.09 robot, I expect Linkin Park to start playing.
I have a Dog called Neo. I need him as equally Squishy when he dies to handle as a talking dog.
Just wish they weren't so damn expensive.
The Figure robot walks like it's got to take a massive dump!
Home robots is boring, I want a fighting robots like in the (Real steal) movie
Atlas is a little creepy. "Command. Destroy."
How long they can operate?
How much time to recharge?
How strong they are?
Can they be controlled by remote?
Can they get wet in safety?
If they kill or break something, who is responsabile?
EMP can damage them?
Have a "stop" to orders that would kill/harm people?
Can they use a gun? How well?
If someone abuse of them, can be accused of violence?
Can someone remove an arm from it and use as separate component or prosthetic?
The ones with adaptative AI can develop feelings? Have they "rights"? Can run away from their owners?
star trek tng - measure of a man
So many questions
You asked all the right questions
I will take one of each. Thx
Robots must only be allowed to be owned by personal means. Corporation should not be allowed to purchase robots. They should have to rent them from workers. This will save jobs of human beings from going into massive poverty and death
6:06 hell yeah
I want a AGI/ASI Robot I wonder when that will come out and what the price would be🤔
I don't think an ASI bot would listen to you
If a robot do my dishes I'm ready with my cash
A price for each would be interesting
Atlas robot probably quarter of a million dollars 😂
Amazone workers are all bye bye LLLLLLLLLLMMMMMMMMMMMMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO =) love it.
Not really
@@Supraboyes Keep telling yourself that LMFAO
Wake me up when they make the Nexus 6 a reality.
Didn’t anyone watch iRobot? I think they’re moving a bit too quick. They need to focus on cybersecurity and safeguards. Once they integrate AI into everything it will take another form. Someone could be developing a malicious AI that can overtake and control these creations… There also needs to be more policy and accountability that hold the creators accountable if something were to go wrong.
Someday very soon, you will not be able to tell the difference between a human and a robot. That is when I will place my order. 🥰
The robot revolution WILL come, its inevitable. Luckily there are only two companies that you have to focus on - that is Hyunday (they own 80 % of Boston Danamics) and obviously TESLA.
Very soon everyone on the planet will want his own robot to do endless task, of even just be a companion.
Invest in these now, and you be invested in changing the world FOREVER. This is way bigger than the Internet or the IPhone... imagine you where able to invest in the ENTIRE AUTO industry in the year 1910!
i don’t like that u used 11 laps voice generator, very robotic
I still think Tesla's is the best.
why?
So like, would it be possible to send some of these guys off to mars to make oxygen rooms and farms and stuff? There was a movie (probably several) where this was tried by humans, but they all failed because humans have basic needs that a robot wouldn't.
Yet we forget that the main driver of progress is the military. Need should force the military to create a quality anthropomorphic robot, and the market economy will make it cheaper and more suitable for civilian use. You may be mistaken that nothing will ever be cheaper than a person and his death. But in modern society, the continuous growth of egoism and awareness of globalization, dictatorships and countries with a low standard of living and education have a huge advantage in the difference in the value of life. The population of developed countries would rather choose to leave the country than risk their precious lives. Europeans will fly to America, Americans will fly to Europe if a war breaks out.
The modern world really needs "autonomous warfare" to defend itself from immature regimes. Ideally, to defend itself preventively. Now it is a huge political risk to send your soldiers to die for future economic stability. It will be much easier to send drones, air and ground, to protect democracy. (If you live in a democracy, you have no right to ridicule the defense of democracy. You have freedom of speech to criticize. But don't dare force others to live in a non-democracy.)
I am disabled, and I excited about humanoid robots primarily as assistive devices. Each of the leading companies offer something different with their approach, I wonder which one will be used for that use-case first.
1X NEO
Atlas is the clear winner.
The kid in me sees a robot walking like it's going to drop a nugget from its backside at any moment. LOL, they're not really fluent in movement yet, are they?
I need a friend... Powerful friend. For my Behavioral address
Skynet smiles 😃
8:10 is that v1 from ultrakill
I don’t think these robots learn. They are all using pre-trained. They have no capacity to learn new things once pre-trained.
Technology brining back the salve trade. 👍
When they figure out the brains, it’ll be nice to have a $500 non humanoid form factor that can fit in a duffel bag or back pack. Pop it out while traveling and have it figure out the foreign washing machine, do an item check on videography gear,
AIbots are going to be a boon to small businesses. They are not taking jobs but rather amplifying what we can get done. I can cut a tree faster with a chainsaw faster than a handsaw faster than an axe faster than a stone edge.
Humanoid robots and AGI mean that I ndividuals can start a business without all the headaches, drama, liabilities and costs of employees. I look forward to AIbots to help me farm, in my butchershop, construction and forestry. Quite importantly, AIbots can do self maintenance and repair as well as that on other equipment.
On the non-robotic side, AI in bookkeeping, legal, customer service will also be great.
I like working. I like doing things. I create. I need some help. I do not like having employees - way too much drama. At $20k and I will take one right away. $15k? I will take two or three. $10k as one pundit quotes? Wow! Yes! Tractors cost $50k to $250k. Big iron. Other tools I have cost $5k to $90k. I would much rather be empowered by a tool than having to rely on and deal with employee drama. Let people start their own businesses. AI gives them that leverage.
I'm waiting for the cyberdyne systems robot
I know someone named Isac. Does it mean he's a robot? Oh my god.
Eventually the robot will see that humans are a waste of time and energy that it will decide to leave or destroy you! 😮
optimus robot. 1st Mars and Moon Journey
which one would you choose?
Where are the robots from Unitree, like the G1 and H1
Why do you keep switching to that microphone that’s just two cups connected by a string
Neo is a real live person😂😂
It's teleoperated by a person. But its real hardware.
Ok so what happens when dealers get ahold of these and start to have the robots make deliveries? Man no one is gna even try to rob a robot its way to smart lol
When did abrupt cuts get popular? Its annoying
holy shit imagine giving it a gun 😭🙏
Of course I'm a machine Lieutenant. What did you think I was?
Tell us to decide to dispose robots for good.
