I feel like the idea for the bob bot is not to remove the grind but instead to reward people after grinding for the bot by letting them have some free time to do things they want during mid to late game where the grind is less fun.
Considering the huge amount of base farming/automation mods, this really is needed. Probably as in those mods, the automation is supposed to be for late mid and early late game, where you are probably more busy with taming high level creatures and breeding those perfect stats.
I’ll say this I’ve played ark for over eight years as a solo player on official and it does take a toll especially when you need to farm resources and then as well as raise Dino’s, now knowing that we’ll have a buddy to help you like a Kevin type bud from sons of the forest to help you with errands I’m all for it. I think it would be awesome as long as they don’t find a way to make it useless
I am not worried about this. I think this robotic butler is a great addition, and something WORTH spending a few bucks on. Just not having to worry about maybe putting fert in crop plots, or maybe even possibly letting it crate things like ingots, electronics, narcs would be fantastic. To me that adds to the experience, especially as a solo player. As for repairs I don't see it being able to maybe out fix a rocket launcher or C4, so I am sure PVPers will be fine
The problem is, that even if a SMALL amount... it's pay-to-win. Like seriously, unapologetically, so. Of course this whole thing has just been ramping up the "pay to win" aspects, and it's just infuriating- and it's not something I ever want to see. Do I like the idea behind this? Yes! Will I pay for it? No! I'm not going to fund something that will just show these people that pay-to-win will give them money
The train is already cheap, I doubt the Farmbot will be much more expensive and even then, on a map like abb, you will be able to get the resources quite easily.
I have a 3070, found on nexus mods a mod that replaces dlss with fsr 3.1, and Ive went from 40-50 to 90-110 fps and on high settings. Im really hopefull with this update
Is the mod on the workshop available? I've got a 4060TI 16 gb and it currently runs on 5-10 fps regardless of graphic preset or cmd tools, so i'm hoping either this or the frame generation Wildcard adds will solve the issues. Asa as of right now for me is somewhere in the corner where all the wastes of money go because i simply cannot play it.
@@wietse9673 I play on a few different machines. one of them is a laptop with a 3070. I am in my base on Svartalfheim right now sitting at 45-55 fps. There has to be another issue with the machine or setup of your computer.
@@wietse9673 like bns6288 said if you have a 4060ti 16gb and it runs on 5-10fps even when you use cmd tools your pc is without a doubt the problem not the game i just ordered a pc with a rx 6600 and thats supposed to run the game in 1080p lowest settings 2 cmd tools in like 50-75 fps
I spent all these years grinding for mats. Base goes bye bye, time to grind again, then again and yup you guessed it again. I don't mind the grind buuut, thank swear the grind is getting a bit of a hand! Excited for new content and thanks for the video
About the grind, the Bob's pack is mostly being used by consistent PVE players as of right now. Many of those players have been left holding the bag, as it were, for a tribe of individuals who flow and go based on launch newness. As a tribe runner, I and 1 other player are currently maintaining hub bases on all maps in the cluster after the first month drop off and seasonal interest in playtime by our tribe's 14 other players. Those players are great to have when we need all hands on deck for a mad rush build/breed on new servers, but we need to maintain the bases between those mad rushes and that's less fun for younger players. Having a basic butler to pull in extra materials and maintain the storeroom, would be nice.
How is this robot ANY different than setting collector tames on Roam? Its essentially the same thing. It can collect materials. Yes, it can also PROCESS certain materials, and use some to enact repairs... and i assume keep your tames fed... But that dosent remove the need to do these things yourself, it just speeds them up a bit. Also, it cant BUILD or TAME... its literally just an upkeep machine mixed with a collector tame and a smithy... It dosent remove the grind... it just reduces the Tedium.
I doubt it will be as effective as farming your self. But being able to drop stuff off at the base and it puts it away in your dedi storage would be amazing
Right. A lot of Ark is using the right creature for the job. I imagine this robot will have no bonuses to resource gathering or weight reduction. It sounds like it will be an okay supplement to gathering resources yourself, but not a replacement for it.
This is the most brain-dead comment. Noone 'likes the grind' it's something we have to accept the integral existence of in order to allow for a genuine, balanced SURVIVAL game. Is ark not a survival game?

It wasn't mentioned in the video, but I would imagine that even if you craft it, the robot will likely act like any other tame. So in a PvP environment I would think it will have a health value and can be destroyed. Thus it would only perform its repair function while it was still active. I further imagine that it will have to either be loaded up with materials to provide for repairs or will have to be able to access such materials, thus allowing you to out-damage it's repair ability. Additional to that, I can't see it not requiring materials like computer chips and other advanced materials, so you're looking at a mid- to late-game engram.
I still don't understand the pay to win arguments. It's always been that way. New DLC always had OP stuff. This is just a different model. Remember that time they first introduced wyverns...pay to win because you could bring them to the island where people didn't purchase scorched
Difference is that it's completely paywalled now. In the past you could ask others with the DLC to tame it for you. Either for free or involving a trade. Edit: Or by raiding and looting them from cryopods.
@kees1782 that's a lie, if something was on a paid DLC map only you couldn't even see the creature in question, and depending on what dlcs you had you couldn't even play Ragnorok. This was situation years ago on ASE and all I could afford was base game when everyone else was enjoying Extinction just dropping

Hoping it fixes the constant crashes I deal with also hope it fixes the fact that I can't see the drop beams when they are coming down all this started happening when scorched dropped before that had no problems on the island
They need to add something act like a maewing. Like on omega with the farmer and gardener for auto planting seeds and gathering crops. We need a nanny to auto feed babies.
To be completely honest as someone that plays on Official (mostly PvE, but PvP on occasion), I love the new robot companion. Especially since my tribe and I’s schedules don’t always line up (I play solo quite a bit too), so it will be nice having an extra hand around base at times. This has honestly rekindled my excitement for the Bob’s Tall Tales side of Aberration because the Blimp soured it a little.
Honestly i dont mind the grind in ark getting materials i dont mind sorting i dont mind but this would make it alot easier definitely and even if i wanted to do the grinding myself i have to make the bot im a simple man if i see robo i need to make it
For all we know about the robot, it could gather resources passively like a Doedicurus, or it could be spitting out tons of resources like a Gacha. I suspect the repair feature will be easily countered in PvP. With the amount of info shown here, it's anyone's guess at how OP it's gonna be. I don't have high expectations for any Ark updates at this point, but I'm cautiously optimistic about the graphics updates. We'll see.
I suspect the robot is going to work similar to the S+ item collectors/dedicated storage intakes from ASE - auto-gather from your crops, forges, etc - distribute poops, fertilizer, drop off your gathering and have it sorted for you etc... That item collector was the BOMB for late game in ASE, so I'm excited.
There is currently an Ark primitive mod called ARK: Primitive Survival by Biggumzzz. Removes tek and indy stuff and replaces them with prim variants. It's pretty cool and works but dev is focusing on his other mods so it's very slow to update and some mod creatures are impossible to tame like Nothosaurus because genny blueprint has been removed. The ASE Steampunk mod is a high bar for WC to beat, it was practically a full conversion with so many features and items and aesthetically gorgeous.
ngl, the 'repairing the base' part should still be best left to players ot do that since most likely it will be VERY SLOW at doing its job and will most likely require multiple bot npcs to be of any useable sort for base repairs, and also it will most likely WILL NOT replace fully broken structures like that big 2x2 hole in your base you keep forgetting to fix because you left the bot to fix it.
If I’m being honest I can see 3 ways this could be made fairly 1. If the robot requires immense resources to craft forcing it to be an endgame only creation 2. If it can only do a single task such as repairing structures, smelting, moving items around etc 3. If it requires element to make which would mean you would have to beat Rockwell before creating this robot Overall I think this could be game changing no matter how they do it i just hope they make an final achievement and only on aberration
Honestly I think these tall tales things should have been pve or singleplayer exclusive as these features are clearly designed with pve in mind over pvp. But as for how the robot should be limited, I think maybe it will probably require batteries, and hopefully it will require multiple at once for balance. Though maybe it could also have a cool down on how fast it can repair structures as if it can only focus on one structure at a time it won’t be too bad for PvP I think as you just have to attack multiple structures at once, like with explosives

People must of forgot the hot air balloon. This is basically an idea taken from that but used on the ground, added it'll actually assist you more production wise. Im sure itll be able to be robbed and such. Cant wait to see the pvp raid exploits with it
I am guessing they are bringing in more of the S+ functionality to the game such as the gardener, farmer, etc. I just hope its not too game breaking. I like the grind. Its what makes accomplishing things worth it for me in the game.
It will not grind for you. If anything, it'll be an AA Gardener and passively produce resources. It's something new. They're trying. Keep in mind, the theme is steampunk. This is 100% fitting
I finally started playing ASA and I honestly am shocked at how well it runs on Cloud Gaming. I was expecting ASE on my Xbox One quality and did not get that. I will admit there are some problems but far less than I expected. My first crash didn't happen until I started playing with mods, which I doubt had a huge effect on performance because I don't think the mods I installed are too stressing (mostly creatures, with additional weapons and hairstyles)
I agree I don't mind paid DLC, as long as it has content as a normal DLC does. It's a no brainer that live service games cost money. But giving us a single paid dino like the Pyromane with its clear advantages is simply an easy cash grab method and I just don't agree with that method for monetization.
There's already a cooldown on building repair so unless this robot can ignore timers, it's unlikely to be making any significant impact in that regard. At most, it'll mean that it will draw enemy fire initially as the raiding tribe nuetralises the target base's ability to self repair - giving defenders a moment of reprieve. The one potential issue, I think, will be *how many* of these things can be active at one time... Can you make a literal army of automatons? Or just one per character? How many can be in a base at one time? Is it restricted based on "one per player" or will it be "one per tribe, per base/area"? I'm more interested in if there'll be a "free" update to a creature to also include some form of basic automation - perhaps giving the Gigantopethicus or Mesopethicus the ability to gather and repair. After all: "It's so easy, even a monkey could do it..." Plus, we have the Pyromane (and everyone said that would kill PvP and that being Pay-2-Win - haven't heard of PvP dying yet)...what's the next "Fantastic Tame" gonna be?
Cant wait to test out the robot in pvp like Imagine, bringing one out just outside an enemies base. Put a storage box/smithy out and program it to want to harvest fibre in the cave/base and I can bet turrets wont target it on release. Easy cave wipes thanks wc please be as small as a trike or character.
I have watched you for 7 years, and i agree, i don't want to like Sir-5rM8, but as a daily official server grinder and brainwashed DLC purchaser, i welcome this guy with open arms! Maybe i can take a day or two off ark occasionally and get myself some mythical IRL tokens like a girlfriend, a social life, and a basic understanding about what goes on outside my appartment? I'm a PVE player, this automaton has me concerned, with so much being automated I have to ask, what about me? What do I do? Is there really much left? I'm glad to hear some atlas news though, even if it's just an xbox port, it gives me some glimmer hope that they haven't completely abandoned the game.

If it goes around and does the gardening, crafting cp and stuff (whilst you go farming) then I think I will be happy with that. I hate doing the garden and making stuff like the kibble etc.
With how easy it is already to call p2w on BTTp1 due to auto berry farm carts and commonly maxed stuff in maps, it's a given that BTTp2 is gonna be called out as p2w as well with the already revealed spider and bot.

Sir-5RM8 looks like a version the ants in the mod No Untameables. Auto house repairs, gathering and some home defence.. if people don't want to pay for this then that mod is free
The robot is probably gonna be pretty underwhelming ngl. The vast majority of base repair is because of pvp, where there's already a cooldown on being able to repair or build new structures near damaged ones. The bot won't change that and is gonna get blown to pieces by snipers or even just piked if people are dumb enough to try and use it in active pvp scenarios.
When SE came out on SE, the wyvern was severely overpowered. It was a paid dlc. This isnt pay to win. They should be adding skins and collabs. Like imagine a skin for tek suit being spartan armour (halo).
It all depends on how much the robo butler will automate the game as the grind is the gameplay in Ark and until we know more its not worth speculating over just yet
I hope if FSR pushes us near or at 60fps, that they remove the command menu from the game in PvP (on console). Turning off shadows and nanite is game breaking in some respects. Hidden bases become fully exposed lol
the roboter is basicly the No Untameables Ant Queen. they can also repair your base and gather ressources.. and this isnt OP, so I think this wouldnt be either. And yes, its payed.. but thats ok. We got a whole game with 5 DLCs for what? 40 bucks? 60 bucks? .. for cheap... ASE with all those dlc was around 100 bucks And wildcard have to pay all the people who are working there. The Bob tall tales DLC is 10 bucks per map for stuff other games would take around 25 bucks for each map. so thats a fair price
Let's be honest even with the robot. You might still need to grind yourself especially if it is going to get killed by raptors every time you send it to grind. It probably won't be as overpowered as people think after all, it is a npc
When scorche first dropped on ase, they called wyverns and gollems pay to win. When abb dropped on ase,they called the rockdrake,karkinos and reaper pay to win. When extinction dropped, they called the mana and snow owl pay to win... The same as the ferox on gen then the shadowmane on gen2 .... Ark has been like this ever since the very start .
It's the Industrial Age of Ark. I suspect I'll be making full use of this Sir-5rm8. I use the nanny/gardener/farmer mods on single player and I've thought about trying a certain 'automated ark' mod I've seen but a bit wary. Bring on the Steam Punk

Been playing since launch and just see this as a continuation of the end. Arks "grind" is pretty important to have anything to do and prolong the game experience. Just adding P2W game breaking items is just farther down the drain this game has gone in the money grab ark is now. Sad to see but it'd been coming for a long time i guess.
Ohhh dont worry, if Wildcard are smart there will be 5 minutes - 10 minutes cooldown from the moment structure was damaged till it can be repaired = Not effecting PVP much and on PVE it's useless ability😂

another 'creature' addition that is possibly stolen from a outside source (from wildcard). someone came up with this idea for a mod years ago and made a dossier for it etc also pretty sure i read somewhere from wildcard the ue5.4 was more then likely sept 5th
May be pay to win, but I'm more willing to accept this as a purchase than Pyromane, due to it being a DLC bundle. Not fond of purchases for singular items unless extremely cheap as I do not see how a singular item or creature to be worth anywhere close to content bundles. Such as if you consider Bob's tales each part of the bundle would be about 10 bucks. Hard to see how pyromane is worth even half of the content provided in just a singular part of the DLC bundle when compared to how much a the bundle provides in comparison. Can even compare to a map expansions from ASE, I'd love to see someone explain how pyromane is worth a quarter of the DLC Map expansions.

Tbf the robot makes sense lore wise imo if you think about it Lets say itsba rockwell creation its totally something he would make to do them tasks that are "beneath his superior intelligence" But man i cant wait to have a bunch of these strip areas for resources And hopefully i can augment them for combat so i can invade the radiation biome

The second part of Bob’s Tall Tales, there’s 3 parts in total, one for Scorched Earth, one for Abberation and one for Extinction, they’re all included in the Bob’s Tall Tales DLC but they release when their respective map releases and have different themes, you’re basically getting 3 DLC’s while paying for 1
n.. npcs? did I see something about npcs? 🥺Yeah I know the steampunk bot but I mean the Goblin's NPCs. I would be SO happy as a PvE player to get at LEAST Conan Exiles level NPCs in Ark. Even happier if they're better. Got the human NPCs mod atm. Mod author's still improving it I think And yeah, what Palworld did has existed in mods for other survival games for a long time now. Bout time they finally caught on. One of the key things to do with it is tie it to progression I think - the automatic farming, at least. Make it more expensive and mid- or late-game, something you work toward. P.S. Does anyone know how those of us back on the 1000 series Nvidia graphics cards will fair with this update? You've also got to consider that the survivor mate is probably really expensive to craft.

The robot isn't gonna change pvp cause it's most likely not gonna be invincible. People will be able to destroy it and prevent repairs being done

Difference is that it's completely paywalled now. In the past you could ask others with the DLC to tame it for you. Either for free or involving a trade. Edit: Or by raiding and looting them from cryopods.
@kees1782 that's a lie, if something was on a paid DLC map only you couldn't even see the creature in question, and depending on what dlcs you had you couldn't even play Ragnorok.
This was situation years ago on ASE and all I could afford was base game when everyone else was enjoying Extinction just dropping

They need to add something act like a maewing. Like on omega with the farmer and gardener for auto planting seeds and gathering crops. We need a nanny to auto feed babies.
To be completely honest as someone that plays on Official (mostly PvE, but PvP on occasion), I love the new robot companion. Especially since my tribe and I’s schedules don’t always line up (I play solo quite a bit too), so it will be nice having an extra hand around base at times. This has honestly rekindled my excitement for the Bob’s Tall Tales side of Aberration because the Blimp soured it a little.
Honestly i dont mind the grind in ark getting materials i dont mind sorting i dont mind but this would make it alot easier definitely and even if i wanted to do the grinding myself i have to make the bot im a simple man if i see robo i need to make it
For all we know about the robot, it could gather resources passively like a Doedicurus, or it could be spitting out tons of resources like a Gacha. I suspect the repair feature will be easily countered in PvP. With the amount of info shown here, it's anyone's guess at how OP it's gonna be.
I don't have high expectations for any Ark updates at this point, but I'm cautiously optimistic about the graphics updates. We'll see.
I suspect the robot is going to work similar to the S+ item collectors/dedicated storage intakes from ASE - auto-gather from your crops, forges, etc - distribute poops, fertilizer, drop off your gathering and have it sorted for you etc...
That item collector was the BOMB for late game in ASE, so I'm excited.

There is currently an Ark primitive mod called ARK: Primitive Survival by Biggumzzz. Removes tek and indy stuff and replaces them with prim variants. It's pretty cool and works but dev is focusing on his other mods so it's very slow to update and some mod creatures are impossible to tame like Nothosaurus because genny blueprint has been removed. The ASE Steampunk mod is a high bar for WC to beat, it was practically a full conversion with so many features and items and aesthetically gorgeous.
A life saver for people with lives outside ark xD can't wait!!
ngl, the 'repairing the base' part should still be best left to players ot do that since most likely it will be VERY SLOW at doing its job and will most likely require multiple bot npcs to be of any useable sort for base repairs, and also it will most likely WILL NOT replace fully broken structures like that big 2x2 hole in your base you keep forgetting to fix because you left the bot to fix it.
If I’m being honest I can see 3 ways this could be made fairly
1. If the robot requires immense resources to craft forcing it to be an endgame only creation
2. If it can only do a single task such as repairing structures, smelting, moving items around etc
3. If it requires element to make which would mean you would have to beat Rockwell before creating this robot
Overall I think this could be game changing no matter how they do it i just hope they make an final achievement and only on aberration

Honestly I think these tall tales things should have been pve or singleplayer exclusive as these features are clearly designed with pve in mind over pvp.
But as for how the robot should be limited, I think maybe it will probably require batteries, and hopefully it will require multiple at once for balance. Though maybe it could also have a cool down on how fast it can repair structures as if it can only focus on one structure at a time it won’t be too bad for PvP I think as you just have to attack multiple structures at once, like with explosives
@@Steven-yf2efjust because you havnt used it doesn't mean it should be complained about. 5$ here... 5$ there.... and soon enough you'll look at your bank account and find you'll of had to spend hundreds for either tames that didn't end up being that useful, or ones you HAD to get to stay relevant in pvp.

People must of forgot the hot air balloon. This is basically an idea taken from that but used on the ground, added it'll actually assist you more production wise. Im sure itll be able to be robbed and such. Cant wait to see the pvp raid exploits with it

I am guessing they are bringing in more of the S+ functionality to the game such as the gardener, farmer, etc. I just hope its not too game breaking. I like the grind. Its what makes accomplishing things worth it for me in the game.
It will not grind for you. If anything, it'll be an AA Gardener and passively produce resources.
It's something new. They're trying. Keep in mind, the theme is steampunk. This is 100% fitting
So its essentially a fancy version of the nanny farmer gardener hachery and other s plus automation potentially
I finally started playing ASA and I honestly am shocked at how well it runs on Cloud Gaming. I was expecting ASE on my Xbox One quality and did not get that. I will admit there are some problems but far less than I expected. My first crash didn't happen until I started playing with mods, which I doubt had a huge effect on performance because I don't think the mods I installed are too stressing (mostly creatures, with additional weapons and hairstyles)
I agree I don't mind paid DLC, as long as it has content as a normal DLC does. It's a no brainer that live service games cost money. But giving us a single paid dino like the Pyromane with its clear advantages is simply an easy cash grab method and I just don't agree with that method for monetization.
There's already a cooldown on building repair so unless this robot can ignore timers, it's unlikely to be making any significant impact in that regard. At most, it'll mean that it will draw enemy fire initially as the raiding tribe nuetralises the target base's ability to self repair - giving defenders a moment of reprieve.
The one potential issue, I think, will be *how many* of these things can be active at one time... Can you make a literal army of automatons? Or just one per character? How many can be in a base at one time? Is it restricted based on "one per player" or will it be "one per tribe, per base/area"?
I'm more interested in if there'll be a "free" update to a creature to also include some form of basic automation - perhaps giving the Gigantopethicus or Mesopethicus the ability to gather and repair. After all: "It's so easy, even a monkey could do it..."
Plus, we have the Pyromane (and everyone said that would kill PvP and that being Pay-2-Win - haven't heard of PvP dying yet)...what's the next "Fantastic Tame" gonna be?

EU 5.4 will have a bigger impact than FSR just because the game NOW already use upscaling. So the main improvement will come from the engine upgrade.
Cant wait to test out the robot in pvp like Imagine, bringing one out just outside an enemies base. Put a storage box/smithy out and program it to want to harvest fibre in the cave/base and I can bet turrets wont target it on release. Easy cave wipes thanks wc please be as small as a trike or character.
I have watched you for 7 years, and i agree, i don't want to like Sir-5rM8, but as a daily official server grinder and brainwashed DLC purchaser, i welcome this guy with open arms! Maybe i can take a day or two off ark occasionally and get myself some mythical IRL tokens like a girlfriend, a social life, and a basic understanding about what goes on outside my appartment? I'm a PVE player, this automaton has me concerned, with so much being automated I have to ask, what about me? What do I do? Is there really much left? I'm glad to hear some atlas news though, even if it's just an xbox port, it gives me some glimmer hope that they haven't completely abandoned the game.

Sir-5RM8 looks like a version the ants in the mod No Untameables. Auto house repairs, gathering and some home defence.. if people don't want to pay for this then that mod is free
I think this bot could be good for both sides pve and pvp without it being game breaking it’ll probably be at a pace gathering like palworld
The robot is probably gonna be pretty underwhelming ngl. The vast majority of base repair is because of pvp, where there's already a cooldown on being able to repair or build new structures near damaged ones. The bot won't change that and is gonna get blown to pieces by snipers or even just piked if people are dumb enough to try and use it in active pvp scenarios.
When SE came out on SE, the wyvern was severely overpowered. It was a paid dlc. This isnt pay to win. They should be adding skins and collabs. Like imagine a skin for tek suit being spartan armour (halo).

It all depends on how much the robo butler will automate the game as the grind is the gameplay in Ark and until we know more its not worth speculating over just yet

I hope if FSR pushes us near or at 60fps, that they remove the command menu from the game in PvP (on console). Turning off shadows and nanite is game breaking in some respects. Hidden bases become fully exposed lol

And yes, its payed.. but thats ok. We got a whole game with 5 DLCs for what? 40 bucks? 60 bucks? .. for cheap... ASE with all those dlc was around 100 bucks
And wildcard have to pay all the people who are working there. The Bob tall tales DLC is 10 bucks per map for stuff other games would take around 25 bucks for each map. so thats a fair price

i have the feeling the bot will only aid with the grind and not fully replace it. and i bet it will be quite slow in repairing/crafting.
Let's be honest even with the robot. You might still need to grind yourself especially if it is going to get killed by raptors every time you send it to grind.

Been playing since launch and just see this as a continuation of the end. Arks "grind" is pretty important to have anything to do and prolong the game experience. Just adding P2W game breaking items is just farther down the drain this game has gone in the money grab ark is now. Sad to see but it'd been coming for a long time i guess.
Ohhh dont worry, if Wildcard are smart there will be 5 minutes - 10 minutes cooldown from the moment structure was damaged till it can be repaired = Not effecting PVP much and on PVE it's useless ability😂
I really think this bot will not take away the grind of ark, simply because at the endgame you need so much resources i cant see the bot being able to sustain that kind of grind by himself lol
another 'creature' addition that is possibly stolen from a outside source (from wildcard). someone came up with this idea for a mod years ago and made a dossier for it etc

May be pay to win, but I'm more willing to accept this as a purchase than Pyromane, due to it being a DLC bundle. Not fond of purchases for singular items unless extremely cheap as I do not see how a singular item or creature to be worth anywhere close to content bundles. Such as if you consider Bob's tales each part of the bundle would be about 10 bucks. Hard to see how pyromane is worth even half of the content provided in just a singular part of the DLC bundle when compared to how much a the bundle provides in comparison. Can even compare to a map expansions from ASE, I'd love to see someone explain how pyromane is worth a quarter of the DLC Map expansions.

I doubt it will be a full replacement for resource harvesting. Conan exiles has automaton farmers, too. Golems. And they do trivial amounts with turbo dumb ai. 😂

Is the upgrade going to fix single-player from crashing. I haven't been able to play SE and the Center because it crashes every 15 to 20 mins.

The second part of Bob’s Tall Tales, there’s 3 parts in total, one for Scorched Earth, one for Abberation and one for Extinction, they’re all included in the Bob’s Tall Tales DLC but they release when their respective map releases and have different themes, you’re basically getting 3 DLC’s while paying for 1

n.. npcs? did I see something about npcs? 🥺Yeah I know the steampunk bot but I mean the Goblin's NPCs. I would be SO happy as a PvE player to get at LEAST Conan Exiles level NPCs in Ark. Even happier if they're better. Got the human NPCs mod atm. Mod author's still improving it I think
And yeah, what Palworld did has existed in mods for other survival games for a long time now. Bout time they finally caught on. One of the key things to do with it is tie it to progression I think - the automatic farming, at least. Make it more expensive and mid- or late-game, something you work toward.
P.S. Does anyone know how those of us back on the 1000 series Nvidia graphics cards will fair with this update? The page I read only mentioned down to 2000 😢 Even if it helps a little I'll be happy.
