Honestly this robot doesn't seem busted since its not smart enough to move the materials its farmed to a box and will overweight itself constantly so its not a auto farm, Nice to have something to repair my base for when i keep miss-clicking damaging my base, my main question is i wonder if it can garden, as put fert into crop plots and gather the grown crops to put in the fridge now that would be amazing thats my least fav chore to do in the base.
It seems odd that you can’t have one on Butler mode and another on gather mode, and then it wouldn’t regulate its own inventory due to the fact that you would have to manually switch these these processes this effectively makes it almost useless for gathering because it will very quickly become overweight, and until you manually come back and unload it, it will not gather anymore or possibly not even move if it overweights itself entirely, they need to be able to link if they aren’t able to do that or they need to be able to switch if they aren’t already. The requirements of the manual switch between makes it useless as an automated process.
If it has whistle commands to switch modes, I could see it being more useful. Have several with you, harvesting metal, then whistle all butler mode and they all deposit what they farmed. Less clicking.
The ultimate question will be in pvp if you rob one of the new storage boxes will it be your stuff or the one your raidings stuff it might have the same mechanics as a ender chest in minecraft if so pvp was just made pointless
Maybe there's a way to level it up? Cause it says level 1 I'm not impressed yet cause there's automation, you need actively order it to do things. Maybe if there's 2 interacting with each other. It should be able to harvest and put in the storage alone.
