You're too kind. I assume you're looking at a preowned model, as these have been discontinued in Europe. I wish they made this a PHEV instead of brining the Explorer, which is too big for our roads (and too expensive).
This is built 30 mins from my house. They are everywhere and thusly is immediately crossed off my list of cars to be bought. Bat poop coffee? OMG I thought kopi luwak was the last word on strange coffee to be consumed. Good review EH!!
Always a pleasure to watch your reviews, have a good 2017 ! And the Edge... I like the looks, like the size and presence and would definitely get it if it wasn't for the bad lease price at the moment (Germany). Maybe waiting a bit would be a good plan :)
Quinquagenarians, ah dawg gone it!! I'm 60!!! Loved your review and sense of humor. I've had a love for this since I first saw it in 2005? However, the high price, very low mpg stopped me. I finally was able to ride in one this past summer, backseat passenger and front passenger. Meh. 2 different drivers, so it must have been the suspension. I felt apprehensive more so in the front seat. It just didn't seem safe in how it handled the back roads, wobbly and bumpy. Still, very enjoyable video
Just rented 2017 model in America, much better ride then Santafe, but bit worse on millage. Other then that titanium features were nice, like that panoramic sunroof.
great review, marek, as always :-) i was scared, that you will find any serious problems, cause i´ve ordered edge vignale 2 months ago :-D i am the middle age group btw. :-D happy new year, man
My only real problem with it is lack of hybrid drivetrain. I rarely drive long distances to justify a diesel, and a V6 petrol I had on my Canadian trip was too thirsty. Happy New Year!
Great video Marek!, I was in the market for one of these last year, and test drove this but ended up buying the Kia Sorento. Here in the States V6s are the norm on these and with a powerful engine ( 2wd) it scared the crap out me when taking corners and changing lanes. I ended up going for the Kia, drove nicer for me and the better deal was a bonus too.
Marek Drives We welcome you back, there is no doubt about it, I mean you are showcasing Canada to the world. I also liked how you showed off the late 80s to early 90s Ford Crown Victoria LTD with the V8, it was a contrast of how Ford engineering has changed whether that was intentional or not.
Marek Drives haha you are always welcome would recommend you drive the e134 from Drammen to Haugesund or the other way round, awesome driving road that will take you into and across the mountains.
Sounds like a plan. I wanted to drive all the way up to Nordkapp one day, but it's always outside by time and/or budget. Perhaps this would be a fun way to experience a bit of Norway. Thanks!
Probably. Citroen c5 had those v6 diesels from 08-13, price was about 39 - 50k euros, more or less full optional. Actually right now I'm trying to buy one of those 3.0 hdi but at the time nobody sells this model. Importing is not an option, import fees are too high in my country for bigger engines.
Ford will introduce a new 2.0 eco blue twin turbo diesel to EDGE in 1 year time, it will produce 245 bhp and 450 NM, way better than the current twin turbo TDCi, and new Edge for 2018 will be 90-120 kg lighter as well, so will improve on handling, ride, performance, mileage as well
Lech G. I work for a car lease company, recently Ford Europe did a survey on the For models used, their age, their mileage, how they held up with time, how many people preferred Ford again etc etc.. I asked the people who came for survey about Ford Europes future plans , at 1st they hesitated to open up, but later they opened up just before leaving HAPPY 2017
rather not, the booth capacity of the ford edge is 602 litres while CRV has 589 litres. the tiguan and the rest has a rather smaller booth. the space in the back is almost the same because I own a crv. but yeah not really important, also great review
OutSyder crv has less passenger space. Edge is wider and has more luxury features. But yes cargo space is pretty much the same. I was considering the 2017 crv for a while but its too narrow. Thus I'm checking out the edge and murano
I do like the look of the Ford Edge. However I would not invest in one as I feel Fords build quality is rubbish. I'll stick to my 2011 Kia Sorento 2.2 crdi automatic - which when remapped offers more power than the 210ps Edge.
one of the few channels nowadays that provides all the informations a buyer needs. congratulations and keep up the quality work sir!
One of your best reviews Marek. Keep on making them, you've got a great channel!
Lovely review... Great information, lovely scenery, nice jokes... Good job man...
Good job Marek. Good point of view with sense of humor.
Your reviews r always with interesting details . Really "distinctive". Well done!!
Great review Marek , done with panache and style. I’m going to check one out on Friday. In my opinion your the best reviewer on you tube…..
You're too kind.

I've seen the factory. I did a placement gig for Ford, and drove the Edge through Canada.

Great review Marek. Have you reviewed the revised Ford Kuga yet, or any plans to?
I plan to. I'm not sure if it's available in Poland yet. Realistically speaking I'd expect a review in late spring.

nah it didnt look so good before 2015

Where did you film the review? The lake/river were spectacular looking. Thanks!

Peter Peter awd is perfectly suited for the stronger engine to kill the torque steer that u mentioned.
Cool car !
I see that Marek and Anna enjoyed the Shawarma and the Tim Hortons coffee.
Hello from Toronto.
We have indeed ;)
We must go back. Wonderful country.

At the beginning when you said "will look money?", is that like a slang in your country? 😅

Marek Drives Ah, I get it now.
nice video
nice review, but 210 HP powerplant for that pig is not adequate, what engine options are available in North America?
V6 mainly.
We have a 2.0 petrol ecoboost here in New Zealand. 178kw and 350NM. Fairly quick with that spec for the segment.
2.0 Ecoboost 245hp, 3.5 V6 280hp, 2.7 V6 Ecoboost 310hp.
I'm a Middle aged man wanting to show off his STATUS!
so this ford has a base price of over 67000eur where i live so this or a 2 year old porsche cayene og panamere, such a hard choice (not)
Where is that? Maybe I should move there:)
Marek Drives that is the cold hell also known as Norway
Must visit. We on the other hand complain about mild winters :)

Ford just sell the V6 version in Brazil, doing 6,5km/1L, the autonomy is a Shame!
With 6 cyl diesel would be much much much ........ much more interesting car. They have those engines in Jaguars, LRs, ..what are they waiting
Jaguars, LRs are much more expensive, so it's easier to "hide" higher cost of a bigger engine.

You forgot honda crv at lower price suv
Honda's considerably smaller. It competes against RAV4/Tiguan/Escape.

It looks proper american. SHAME the price.
Euros with their diesels. Dirty engines.
