Gents, check your specs, Ping states the i230 has the most offset of the three irons with the i525 and i59 having the same amount of offset.

It’s funny how mental it is. Even if the actual offset is less, if you think it is more, some people might experience a placebo effect 😂

i230 also looks like it has the thickest top line. I was shocked. But it was beautiful to hit. It's a classic in the making.

I just traded in my PXG0811 T gen 2 for the ping I 59 the best thing ive done I am a single digit lefty. I think the I 59’s are my forever clubs

That club connection gizmo would drive me nuts in testing the different heads.

just got the i525. love em. finally a stock club at d0-d1....as a player that extends or orders longer i usually have a real hard time not getting d4 or higher swing weight. my last special order mizuno 921 forged ordered 1/2 long d2.. came d-4-5. d0-d1 in a players steel 6.0 i/0 shaft. take my money ping. all $1400 of it... :( i230 d-1,d-2 and thats with tip stiff true temper, so even those heads are lighter.

Smaller long irons are confidence inspiring to me and I barely break 100. If you want a good looking iron and not the chunk of a super game improvement, get the iron that looks good to you and learn to hit it, if the chunk throws you off. This could be because the irons I started with were the old gold burner tours.

Unless you really want the look of the i59, slightly more compact and very little offset, there is no point to the i59. The i230 delivers slightly better performance and more forgiveness. The i525 is interesting, effectively a club less loft than the i59 & i230 but not quite a full club longer than i230. If you wanted a 4i in your i59 or i230 set an i525 5i might be a better choice.
Only problem for the i230 is that the i210 is still a fantastic club, so if you own those there is no need to change and if you do not play the i210 I would trawl the second hand market in a few months time

I love my i59's. I did a demo today on the i525 7 iron didn't like em nearly as much, the sound or the feel.

I just picked up a mint set of i-210 irons 4-W for $450. I'm just getting back into golf and I'm shooting a 25 handicap so these irons will bring be a lot of joy as my game improves this year. My strength is my driving and my irons. My short game and putting needs the most improvement. I don't see myself replacing my irons for many years to come.

it’s a great set and super cool how it can work for players of such diverse handicaps.

Hit it bad, “I’m reacting to offset” need to remember that next time I play

Is the way the tester reacts to raise the handle when he sees offset? It wasn't talked about but there was a big diffenrece in the dynamic lie of the 230 vs. 525 and the 59 which have the same offset?

Never knew why I was going left so much until this video, 8 to 12 handicaps stay away from the i525 you will miss left a lot, too much offset. I mess my swing up thinking it was me until I saw this guy missing left on every shot.. Thank god for this video, I would have altered my clubs to fit a bad swing instead of Making a good swing.

From my understanding the i230's are even more stable , less draw tendency with the split tungsten

good video... do you envision putting folks in i525 for longer irons and i230 7-P?

The i525 is the worst feeling and sounding golf club I have ever hit in my life. The i230's however.....wowzer! I ordered a set of the i230's power spec'd.

What is that notch in their irons all about? That's always bugged me.
I like Ping drivers and woods. Have never cared for their irons for whatever reason. They've always felt harsh to me.

Players chose to either stay or leave. No one owes them a dime because they chose poorly.
