Oh this was helpful to me. I am just overwhelmed with the many tools I have found and how to organize them to study.

.....good morning Sierra...when my tables are not a mess...smiles......i have these wooden boxes that separate.......hammers...axes...knifes...drills....anvils ( which sit along the wall ) ...choppers...scarpers... crescent shaped cutting tools...crescent shaped abrasion tools...etc.. tools that were broken ( some very old breaks...some maybe by the dozer..or me..) ...tools that was broken and changed into another tool....tools i feel were made for small hands....very heavy tools like cleavers and large hammers then there is color....that's when mixed tool get together.............tools that can be designation to one type of stone.....smiles...it goes on and on....i need much more room..........................but.............basically it's the same tools that i find in my modern toolbox...but made from stone...............................it astounds me that folks can look ...with awe... at the many fabulous examples of art everywhere around us....knowing that it was made with the tools we possess in our shops and barns....HOW can the question of art be denied these ancient people ............i find evidence of it everywhere.......................even in my dreams

The set of stones you have your standing bird images in also have very many faces of man and other types of beings, plainly seen by a glance over when watching the video. The most amazing thing I have found about the stones in general is that one can see a lot more on them thru photographic images...fascinating stuff.

I found those pounding rocks very interesting. I have a few rocks very similar, they have sliced flat sides, and from research it is suggested they were used to break bone to extract the marrow from inside. I have photos on my website, sadly I can’t pop a link alongside this comment as TH-cam doesn’t allow it. I enjoy your videos 😊

.......yes that is what i think too....any stone tool would have more than one purpose when made....and the wear on the tool will show that.......that is why i have found it best to just categorize the tools in their two basic uses.......cutting and abrasion................testing the residue could tell us a lot more

Mr RLJ I got a question. Do u think Natives knew to smelt Copper from Stones??? I thinking I found some Copper coated/Copper Stones/ Copper poured Over certain parts of Stones.......please let me know what u think..........thank u too always. I very well Appreciate you and what u do as well. Nature Freedom Dreams.

Sounds very interesting:-) but I do not know about that

    • @mlmiller6

The Natives were mining copper and making tools with it like crazy...trading with those who "showed up" on this continent early on. I'm not positive but I do believe the copper was mostly found around the Great Lakes area. Do an internet search with something like "Copper and the Native Americans" or "Native American Copper Trade". What you will find is probably not going to be the actual truth, but may help answer some of your questions. We know that many of our earliest structure contained copper building materials.

4:00 can you pick up a Recessed face right hand side profile, but I want to see the one that was right above it with the eye in the middle of the forehead. That one is a different style because the eye is very centered, usually I am seeing the images on the edges, so I need to see that more!

5:00 mins in and I’m glued. This is so good.

You Sir are showing a lot of Facestones but not everything has the eyes on it. Some of those corner pieces are just corner pieces but some of those corner pieces were made into art. I can see the eyes definitively. And the reoccurring types-They’re there too. Recessed face large headdresses. I did a whole video on this type of stone, I called it the first archetype known to modern humans.

10:20 you have beard Mohawk guy. He’s Mohawk guy when you have them the way you have them, and then he’s pointy head pointy hat guy when you flip them upside out. These are a common reoccurring artifact that I have found several of- there are four defined faces all with the profile edges, some of the faces are long. Some of them are very small with large hats. I actually learned about beer Mo hot guy from a comment on one of my videos early early on when a divine soul came in and told me everything was OK… That other people see these too.

I’m not even going to edit that because it just sounds so good… But of course I mean Beard-mohawk Guy. In this stones case it is Mohawk - pointy hat guy.
