I’m new to this and I find these everywhere. Never have I been told or shown these. I’m in Louisiana and we don’t have big rocks, at least on the surface, so all the findings I find are small. Im enjoying watching and learning from your videos. Thank you.

Interesting natural looking rocks. Not sure if a cortex on rock might refer to its outer layer. Like to see things in rocks as a meditation aid.
Could you explain what you mean by meditation ad....for me studying stones is relaxing...my heart rate and breathing slow down....and my mind wonders into other dimensions...and my imagination finds senerios of ancient times...it's fun
......and for me to joke with the rock...is to except the humor that it will give me...if I listen

@@rljatfrogpondschool7283well. I was taught young, not to judge a book by the cover ! In this case we can't even read the story, so why assume if a sad face is on the cover , the whole book will be sad or about grief ! Seeing a mean face on a stone may scare some into not looking into it further, fear of the unknown ! I try not to judge but be more like a public defender ! What do you think of this, " never judge a book by it's cover " first impression !?
Taking one word alone, out of just it's context , can cause a false opinion of the entire story !

I have so many questions about my study you have so many answers of your study you know plants and herbs and medicinal uses of them I do not know that... I wish I did
I feel that in the ancient days everyone had a part to play.... don't you.... I feel joy in most of these stones .....joy and theater.... the time is coming soon when I must show my 25 year work on theater.... I am afraid that when I do I may have to leave the stones.

Nicely put ! I see the difference . Clovis and Fulsum didn't have nearly as much art in the pieces . They do have some , but not to the extent of the older types . I see this in my collection also . The art style becomes more 2D like in a way with the latter time period .
I said once to you that I walk alone I can see now that no one alone can do this study justice we must combine our thoughts and what we are seeing

I wish I was as educated as you and Jay It’s my belief, most of this honey color stone is raw yellow jasper. It matches up to research on the web. I find very little “white or cream” artifacts. @@rljatfrogpondschool7283 I'm often hungry and have a yard full of wild rabbits , I feed them instead 😁 But , if I were living off the land, I'd probably be trading rabbits for venison . If I couldn't trade, then of course I would make some good rabbit stew 🍲 and make and triad moccasins ! I'm good with a bow 🏹 so the rabbit would only be for necessity ! 🦌 !

9:39 yes , me too ! The symbols often line up to help make an image too , these people where geniuses in expressing the literature ! I completely agree this is all an understatement ! I do like it, the pictures, your cleanups, your examinations and opinions ! You are building hypothesis ! Your making a book ! You said you would like an even better way of viewing and understanding the pieces , but i think a book is also necessary ! 3D Lidar tech i think would be a good next step .

Bro you know some of these aren't just art stones some of them are actually real actual animals that probably got buried and then turn the stone I have quite a few legitimate animal heads alligators birds all types of things that aren't supposed to be ever in this area possibly even dinosaur

I collect them too, some with 4 , 5 sides etc . Some with a rounded bottom . Some with glifs and symbols . Excellent topic !
I feel ....that I and others ....would feel more comfortable and safe at night.... if there was a dog guarding our teepees ....wish I knew what the ancient dog looked like... because surely it was not a chihuahua...or a great dane....hehehehe....was the pyramids guarded by the dog....was there teepees ever in Egypt...probably not...
@@rljatfrogpondschool7283 funny you say , I've been walking my cousin's dogs , 3 rescues and yesterday one pulled me over crossing the street. I was getting away from another dog and walker . Busted up my knee . Their primal instinct to defend and attack is incredible . 💪

4:04 looks like a sabertooth getting struck with a club , the round fossil is the stone in the club . That's what i thought at least . The colors are amazing !
Yes I saw the saber-tooth also it appears as a bird has that fossil under One Wing
