- HEY EVERYONE WELCOME TO MY CHANNEL! I WANTED TO SHARE MY ARMENIAN EASTER COOKIE RECIPE WITH YOU ALL. ITS A FEEL GOOD COOKIE WITH A LOT OF CINNAMON AND HOLIDAY FLAVORS. THIS IS A PERFECT COOKIE TO HAVE WITH YOUR COFFEE IN THE MORNING AND ITS ALSO A GOOD COOKIE TO GIVE IN GIFT BASKETS DURING THE HOLIDAYS
INGREDIENTS :
5 CUPS OF FLOUR
2 TBLS BAKING POWDER
1 TBLS CINNAMON
1 TBLS MAHEB
1 TEASPOON NUTMEG
1/2 A CUP OF SUGAR (YOU CAN PUT MORE IF YOU WANT IT TO BE SWEETER)
1/2 CUP OF MILK
3/4 CUP OF OIL
1 EGG
1 EGG WHITE
(SAVE EGG YOKE ON THE SIDE FOR SPREADING OVER THE BISCUITS)
1/2 CUP OF SESAME SEEDS
30 MIN IN THE OVEN ON 350 F OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
1 PACK OF LURPAK BUTTER OR ANY OTHER BUTTER OF YOUR CHOICE

do i have to let the dough rest for 5 hours?
Hey dear no you don’t that was a mistake from me, since there is no yeast you can just let it rest for an hour it should be fine :)
thank you Tania, so much. I made them but they rose more in the oven LOL not sure why since no yeast and only baking powder.
Thank you for this recipe, cookies came out pretty good, dough easy to work with, I’d add more sugar next time.
