So cool. 👍🌳
I've seen tons of the tree armatures being made, I really think the poly-fill flocking makes them look way nicer than the clump foliage.
I agree. I have a few on my shelf that were the pre-flocked ones you can buy from Woodland Scenics, which work perfectly fine, but I prefer the poly-fill too 🌳
Great video. I’ve used a couple different methods for making trees and using these armatures from WS is a great way to start. If you want an even quicker workflow you could slap hot glue or tacky glue on individual armatures and dunk into bowl of clumped foliage and be done.
Thanks so much, and absolutely! That’s about as quick and straight forward as it gets, without buying them pre-flocked. Great tip. Hoping the pre-made armature method encourages people to jump into the hobby, because it’s a great beginner project.
Nice and easy 😊
Yes 😊
@@parttimetabletopper you are welcome 🤗
How to craft trees: step 1 = buy trees.....
To be fair, step one of crafting anything is buying the materials. I’m just using pre-made armatures as the base for these, because the point of this video is “cheap and easy”. If you’re looking for something more in depth, check out my other tree video where I make them from scratch 👍
