I continue to really enjoy your videos, simple building materials and methods to make great scatter trerrain. I also appreciate your kind and considerate words to encourage crafters and myself to use what you have and that there is no incorrect way to do your own crafts. Well done!

Another great video. Those trees look like they can survive my clumsy players.

They are are durable without being too top heavy, this has been my favorite way to make trees so far.

I have been victim of 'crafter-block' regarding trees, lol. Thank you for this to get my thoughts going again!

Incredible stuff. Maybe one day, I'll make terrain like this. Looks like a lot of fun.

The bases look great, I also use the woodlands armatures, and if I cut any branches off I glue them to the base of the trunk as exposed roots. Lots of native trees we have here in New Zealand are quite rooty so I try to make them look kind of similar. Love your vids!

Indeed. I've got quite a few lined up. I'm going to be hitting small "sundries" type scatter, for awhile. After that, probably some modular wall sets; graveyard, park, courtyard, arena, etc. I think you'll enjoy them 🙂

Love your tree breakdown! Really helpful and inspiring. How would you make palm/ desert trees?

Thanks! I'm still trying to figure out a good way to make palm trees. In the past I just got plastic ones but I'm going to try using feathers as palm leaves when I can find some extra time. I've seen other people do that and would love to give it a try.

How bad does the flocking fall off? Half of my trees are bare after using the hobby tack that was recommended and spray mod podge... I hate it.

It basically doesn't fall off. I'm pretty sure hobby tack is just a type of PVA glue and I personally don't think it sticks that well to plastic, especially with the wear and tear of gaming. Since this video I have two more videos with even better ways of sticking the flock on. Very similar to the method in this video but I hand apply the glue rather than use spray adhesive. Here are those videos if you are interested...
