Feeding my New Bees Before Inspection

They drank all of their syrup yesterday, so it was time to get a little more in there. I've been checking the syrup level daily and filling the jar as needed. I've also added some cloth as insulation into the upper chamber where the feed bottle is.
I still can't believe how mellow these guys are. Fairly cool, very cloudy, and I'm wearing all black as a matter of circumstance today (I don't think of filling a feeder as need to dress up or use smoke), and still they are totally docile and don't care about being jostled around a bit or corralled back inside the hive.
My first real inspection is going to be tomorrow or the next day depending on the weather. Hopefully they are cool customers then just as they were today. In any case, I'm getting more comfortable with their flying about and lighting on me, and I think/hope they are getting more comfortable with my "visits."
