I’m a first year beekeeper and even I know that you don’t take all of their honey. You have a specific box on top (honey super) that you take from. The boxes underneath are for brooding and food for the bees during colder months. They don’t mind. Their whole lives are all about making honey. If you take only from a specific place, they just make more. They will only suffer if you take from boxes that they need.
As a retired beekeeper here in Canada, I suspect that the reason that Chinese honey is so full of yeasts, is that they extract the honey there in the filed, and don't wait for the frames to be completely capped. There fore it is shipped with way too much moisture, and the natural yeasts in the honey multiply like crazy. The dealers go around with trucks and buy the honey and take it in huge demijohns to be put in large chipping containers, often after it has been heated to a very high heat. That is what kills the yeast. The honey is shipped and, still very high in moisture, it is purchased for bargain basement prices by packers. It is so full of moisture that it sloshes in the containers. Years ago we were forced to sell honey to Billy Bee because of the low prices, as we couldn't sell it for what it cost to produce. When we delivered the honey they said we should be glad to get 80 cents per pound as they only paid 40 cents per pound for the Chinese. Then a forklieft went by with one of those shipping sontainers on it and the honey was very nearly black it had been heated so much, and sloshed like crazy as it was moved. When the chloramphenicol was found, they banned the chinese honey, but the chinese just trans shipped it and it popped up as honey from strange places all over, that had never produced honey before. It was allowed in.
You are right about the Chinese Honey. I am a retired beekeeper to in the US state of Florida. We have had to battle with cheap Chinese Honey for years. The one thing that kept me in business was the fact that we produced a lot of Tupelo Honey. Tupelo was one of the many table honeys that commanded a high price. We produced marketed and, packeged our Tupelo to sell direct to the comsumer. We could not make enough of it and sold out every year before the next seasonal harvest. Like you said when chinese honey was restricted because of contamination they would circumvent their crap honey through other countries. Countries that were not known for producing much honey.
@@ajdogcurr1 Yes, we survived by cutting back our number of hives from 600 to 400, then down to 200. Our main product was raw pollen which went to a company that supplied greenhouses with bumblebees, and the pollen was to feed them. We also produce a very nice wildflower honey because our hives were sedentary and got the wildflowers, particularly goldenrod in the fall, and the Russian and eastern European people wanted the raw fall honey. We used no heat at all in our extracting line, and that got around the community pretty fast, bringing them to our door for bulk honey, and pollen.
La mejor es la miel de los campos en especial la de los países de el sur, soy apicultor colombiano y tengo mis abejas en un lugar donde todos los finqueros producen peces por lo tanto es prohibido fumigar para no afectar las aguas y por ende acabar con los peces, está miel es de lo mejor que he probado y los árboles son nativos que delicia de nectar. Создайте медоносную площадку и поместите рядом пчёл и не надо будет пчеле наматывать 40 000 км. для 1 кГ мёда. Пчела быстрее его принесёт в улей, производительность пчелы увеличется и у неё моторесур сохранится. на большее количество мёда.. Сажайте медовые цветоносы: травы, кустарники и деревья.

Chinese export their honey to some dishonest European importers. From there, these importers sell it and stamp it to the rest of Europe as "European honey", cause it comes from an European country. .. Conclusion: buy your honey directly from your local beekeeper, if you want to eat real honey.

You can thank BEE KEEPERS for keeping bees , with out bee keepers bees would be in a lot more trouble , bee keepers breed them and creat more hives , in the wild many things can go wrong for bees , animals ,storms , fires , drought , etc so bee keepers are the bees saviours even though keepers can lose hives of bees as well from over wintering etc , sometimes colonies don’t make it , but the majority of hives florist and produce more bees each season.

There are some anti-microbial properties from the botanicals if it's monofloral i.e. Manuka. It isn't as potent as it is often given credit for if you look at the results of clinical studies, the benefits are measurable but slight. There are synthetic topical treatments that are MUCH more effective.

This should be (sufficient) proof for people who reflect. (16:68-69) The chapter number is 16, exactly the number of the bee's chromosomes, also the verses mentions the bees that collects nectar and make honey as females. One more thing I just learned about is the word bellies was mentioned in plural, since bees have different compartments and exchange nectar between their bellies

"The hives help to allow the company with an environmental quality label." They're not doing anything, though! Flies are responsible for most pollination, not bees. What we need is less concrete parking lots and more wildlife/greenery, not honeybees. This benefits humans, not the not the environment. Bringing that many honeybees into an ecosystem may even hurt it, rather than help.

oak honey is crazy. rose honey is a treat. being from SC, USA, i favor clover honey. honey is so counterfeited from the store, i only buy locally.

There are some anti-microbial properties from the botanicals if it's monofloral i.e. Manuka. It isn't as potent as it is often given credit for if you look at the results of clinical studies, the benefits are measurable but slight.

In the Quran there is a chapter titled “The Bee.” Within the chapter, two verses cover the essence of the honeybee: And your Lord inspired the bee: build homes in mountains and trees, and in (the hives) they build for you. Then eat from all the fruits, following the design of your Lord, precisely. From their bellies comes a drink of different colors, wherein there is healing for the people. This should be (sufficient) proof for people who reflect. (16:68-69)
The chapter number is 16, exactly the number of the bee's chromosomes, also the verses mentions the bees that collects nectar and make honey as females.
One more thing I just learned about is the word bellies was mentioned in plural, since bees have different compartments and exchange nectar between their bellies

They're not doing anything, though! Flies are responsible for most pollination, not bees. What we need is less concrete parking lots and more wildlife/greenery, not honeybees. This benefits humans, not the not the environment. Bringing that many honeybees into an ecosystem may even hurt it, rather than help.
