  • I took my dad, brother, and son off-roading in the Jeep at Kansas Rocks. We did some light rock crawling and mudding. Overall the day was fantastic. The Jeep didn't get stuck in the mud and my new Treadwright Guard Dogs had plenty of traction. We explored the new property Kansas Rocks recently acquired. The wheeling wasn't has hard as trips in the past, but my Dad got to take the wheel and learn how to drive the Jeep off-road.

      Thank you for your support! It's one of my favorite days on the trail and the only time my father has gone with me.

    Cool! My son completely freaked the first time wheeling. Now he`s grown and learning how to fix his own vehicle. Great video.

    My dad is in my heart when I wheel.... never got to do it... but I know he watches, pointing, and saying, "that's my crazy son "

    I just saw you and your jeep ("BERSERKER" really stood out on the beautiful black Jeep) just the other day at 103'rd and Roe. How ironic that today I turn on You Tube and there you are!!! Nice Jeep! Looks like a ton of fun mister!!! I'm envious! 😉

    I just took my dad out wheeling at KS Rocks this last weekend. We had an absolute blast. It had been about 10 years since he last went with me. I know what you mean about the adventure drives. That's my primary focus with my current jeep as well. So far the wife and I have taken journeys to South Dakota, Texas, and southern MO. We are making plans similar to your Colorado trip for next year. I like this new direction your channel is heading.

      That's great you took your dad. I like taking family because it gives them perspective into what I talk about at gatherings. I have trip videos from Moab and Arkansas National Forest in the works and am planning another Moab trip for next year. Where did you go in Texas? And I'm glad you like where the channel is headed. I'm having fun making these videos documentary-style videos instead of just posting montages of trail days.

    Did your tire shop have any issues balancing your Guard Dogs? I had mine mounted on brand new wheels and two different tire shops were unable to balance them. They're close, but you should see the mountain of sticky weights I have on the backside of each wheel. Ridiculous. Other than that, the tires are great off road.

    • @Berserkeroffroad
      @Berserkeroffroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I had them mounted at 4 Wheel Parts because I know their techs are used to larger tires. They said the tires definitely looked sketchy on the machines while being mounted. The tires ride great after tweaks to air pressure. I tried running them at 33 and the ride was rough. 38-40 smoothed them out because less of the outer tread blocks are contacting the ground. I'm anticipating somewhat poor tread wear because of the slight over-inflation. My Mud Claws were like how you described your tires- took a lot of weights and still had a poor ride.

    You should narrate a documentary or something.

      Thanks! That's the new direction of my channel, "documentary" style adventure videos instead of wheeling trip montages.

    What size lift and tires are you running

    • @Berserkeroffroad
      @Berserkeroffroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a 2.5" Metalcloak True Dual Rate lift with Bilstein shocks. The tires are 35" Treadwright Guard Dogs.
