Just traded my wife’s 2019 Pilot for a 21 Gladiator Rubicon. She gets my 2018 Wrangler JKU. I’m happy, she’s happy, kids are happy, and the wallet cried a little. Wallet has always been a crybaby so we just ignore it 😂
This video excites me a lot! I have a 2020 JTRLE that I've been going back and forth, back and forth, on if I'm going to do a 2" AEV lift when I do my 35s. After watching this - I'm much more certain I'm just going to do the 35s and not worry about the lift.
The stock JTR on 35s is incredibly capable. Make sure you get wheels with the right backspacing so the 35s won't rub at full flex. My rig is by no means a crawler, but it gets me where I want to go.
Thanks! It's on the stock Rubicon suspension with no alterations with 35" tires. In the receiver is a bumper skid plate from Skid Mark 4x4. It takes a lot of abuse and keeps the rest of the rear end dent-free.
@@BerserkeroffroadI have a 2021 jeep rubicon gladiator and it sitting on 40s and from experience I can tell u that if u had 40s you would have made it past most of those without trouble
Depends on the trail. I'd prefer a longer wheelbase on a steep climb as it's more stable, whereas a 2-door is more nimble on tight and technical trails.
I didn't know you were there checking our tires. I was at 15psi. Believe it or not, low tire pressure doesn't automatically mean traction. Sometimes, things are just slick.
I didn't realize you were there checking my tires. When Kansas Rocks is muddy, it's like driving on marbles covered in snot. Even if my tires were flat I wouldn't have faired any better.
From the first frame to the last, this video is an ode to the freedom and excitement of offroading. Absolutely spectacular!
Air down maby lol
Great video. That Gladiator is impressive! Awesome group of caring and giving people
I don’t know why, none of the boys in the comment section know why, but I love watching this after work lying in the couch
u are not alone brother
every time you send it brings me great joy
I have a Mojave and it hurts my soul watching how it hits 😫but I love watching lol JEEP GLADIATOR GiRL here 👍🙌🏼love love my JEEP 🤟🏼👑
It’s crazy to see how muddy it is now, after it was so bone dry out there all summer! Cool vid!
Why i didnt want to buy a used rubicon gladiator... gave it hell is an understatement

Short base vs long wheel base makes a big difference.
The first few minutes of the video is why I bought a jk instead of JT
no airing down makes a huge difference. bro s s prob at 40-50 psi.
A day out muddin and winchin. Great vid
Thanks! The JK driver said he learned his Jeep is more capable than he thought.

Nice vid. Nice to see Jeepers giving back to our community, thanks.
Thanks for watching! I was surprised to see how much was donated considering the attendance.
Maybe some low pressure MTs would help
Wife just got a Gladiator Rubicon, after watching this dude put his through hell I feel my wifes won't be breaking anytime soon 😂
It’s always muddy at Kansas Rocks! We’ve had some good times there.
Excellent example of how not to wheel either of these rigs lol
Right! This was soooo painful to watch 😂 its like 2 guys just went out and bought a couple Jeeps then decided same day to go off road 😂
Awesome video 👍
Fun to watch! Thanks.
Thanks for stopping by! It was fun to make.
Hey nice vid! Did you lift the trunk and are tires 35s or 37s? Also, what's that red thing you mount on the towing hitch? Is that a protection?

It’s not really clear from the video but the wheels could lose more air for more grip. Great video though. 2:53
what PSI do you run for trails like this?
Man that JT looks like a hummer up front. What wheels and tires are those??
Excellent spotting!
Disconnect the sway bars?
Also, alotta money to be tearing up!
Looks like they could of lowered their air a little
Did you not run your lockers?
How many of you bought new sets of tires after burning them off lol
Yea, my tires have a few new slices in them. Unsurprisingly, I bent my aluminum transmission skid plate.
What was the psi on the JT?
Great video guys! What area is that
Thanks! Kansas Rocks is near Mapleton, KS.
What are those tires
On the Gladiator, 35" Falken Wildpeak MTs.
first 2:45 is a tough watch and bad look for gladiator lol
My gladiator rubicon on 40s would have made it easy
@@robertlambert1529 cool for you bro, are you in this video where i left a comment?!
How do you keep it charged to run 24/7?
Great video horrible tires
When Kansas Rocks is wet, you might as well be wheeling on marbles unless you have a high horsepower rig.
A big rock? “Ya, that one.” 😂
Not sure if you know this but you can engage your rear locker in 4wh
Only on the mojave
@@107fr2 you can. I have done it.
There are vids on it.
You got me on video!
Need to air down guys!
Dude in the glad is tryna brake stuff 😂 get ready to buy an engine in the next few years.
Gladiator and even JK showing their limitations because of the wheelbase/breakover point. 2 door is definitely ideal for trails.

@@Berserkeroffroad Thats true.
Yepp, these buses dont have much business beeing out on the trails, and are only better in extreme climbs
@@hakankohkoinen8192 They're better for overlanding and desert running. Plus have more cargo capacity.
i think these guys dont know about reducing tire pressure before hitting trails, these tires are at road pressure 😅
I didn't know you were there checking our tires. I was at 15psi. Believe it or not, low tire pressure doesn't automatically mean traction. Sometimes, things are just slick.
Have fun with y’all’s electrical problems after that run
AT tires in mud Lol fun times
Shorter wheelbase wins! On the first obstacle
Nice video. Bet you paid for that mud later when you had to wash it! 😂 #JTRSPARTACUS
Thanks- and yep, I'm still finding mud in places I've washed 3 times.
I hate mud wheeling with a passion, I will hit a mud hole at like 40 miles an hour, but the cleanup is the worst.
Donnie V winching... for the win...
Snatch block party! Geometry involved!
Get better tires
Definitely more meat
The Gladiator should've approached the first egress at the mud hole, at more of an angle instead of head on. ijs
Can I make a recommendation? 2 words- AIR DOWN.
I didn't realize you were there checking my tires. When Kansas Rocks is muddy, it's like driving on marbles covered in snot. Even if my tires were flat I wouldn't have faired any better.
😀👍
I love this vid - but the Glad he ate her need mud terrain or larger tires - its too long.
Thats why in Portugal nobody buys a Jeep
바퀴에 머드가 잔뜩 끼엇는데 mt타이어도 아니고 at타이어로 진흙을 간다는거 자체가
Like the video…but need to air down…a lot
Prime example of why is not so great to buy some used Jeeps, you get used ones like this where they abuse the crap out of them. lol
Dude has more money than brains
Air down your tires!
Long wheel base no good.
Garcia Karen Jones Christopher Gonzalez Donald
Gladiator would do 100x better with a lift n 37's
It’s more so the terrible driving skills could give them grave digger and they’d find a way to get stuck if there’s a will there’s a way 😂
Should of aired down the tires your not driving on pavement . Painful to watch .
This is painful to watch
It would be cool if it was built for MUDDIN, but at this point all it is is expensive grocery getter 🙄
This doesn’t look like fun at all
Gladiators are bullshit, zj gang all day
