crystalbreaker947 To be fair, Yugioh protagonists had zero mention of their parents until 5DS, and that was in the later half of the series. Yuma and Yuya's parents were shown or at least mentioned from episode one. And as for the victims' parents:
Yusaku: He's a protagonist so he kinda gets a free pass.
Jin: Shoichi never mentions their parents, so...I don't know.
Takeru: His grandparents told him that his parents died in a car accident. As if those 6 months of hell weren't bad enough, those were the some of the first news he got.
Specter: He was an orphan, so he gets a pass. And that sadistic son of a bitch liked the Lost Incident, be was like: "OH GOD YES, ELECTROCUTE ME HARDER!"

    • @crystalbreaker947

The most we've had for Yugi is a 1 sec clip of his mom
Jaden's parents were only shown in a photo on one of jaden's childhood flashbacks regarding the Yubel's backstory, and they only showed their bodies, not their faces (I think so it happened that way)
Mr.Fudo made appeareances in 5DS as spirit form and Mrs.Fudo was only shown in a picture, holding Yusei as a baby
Yuma's parents were supposed to be "traveling" around the world as paleonthologists or something like that, later it was revealed Mr.Tsukumo was "sent to the Astral world" implying he died in the expedition with Dr.Faker
Yuya's parents were shown since the beginning. His mom appearing since the very beginning, and Yuusho being his.. "adoptive father"? Who knows with the whole Z-ARC thing, time-space travel paradoxes... just bad scripting from Kensho Ono (at the end of the series)
We haven't had even a single clue from Yusaku's parents or relatives. Not even a photograph...

@@crystalbreaker947 We do see Yuma's parents physically in Astral World, but they never met Yuma while he was there for some reason. Given that Team Zexal can freely travel between worlds, Yuma would have probably met up with them again unless they traveled to another one.

    My Top 5 duels
    1. Yugi vs Kaiba
    2. Yugi Muto vs Seto Kaiba
    3. Yugi Muto, the king of card games vs Second Rate duelist Seto Kaiba
    4. The kid with the spikey hair, who is known to be the world's most greatist duelist vs the rich spoiled orphan dude who sucks at a children's card game.
    5. A japanese boy living with his old grandpa, who loves his friends and who also has an egyptian spirit living in his body, who is also the world's greatist player at a game made by an older white gay dude, who copied egyptian ancient games vs another japanese boy, who was left an orphan with his little brother, only to become the world's most rich person and who is also weak at playing a game desined for 10 year olds.

I may be biased since it’s my favourite deck but the Bakura vs Yugi to the end of the original series is and will probably always be my favourite. I felt that finally Bakura weren’t sidelined and truly showed how powerful he actually was, and even though he lost we got to see a creepy as hell deck which I loved.
On top off that this duel truly showed us how good Yugi was without the help of Atem.

    Nummber 3: Yuma vs Astral
A great Duel showing how far Yuma has come and him relerning to have fun while Dueling.
    Nummber 2: Zane vs Jaiden
    (There 2 Rematch )
A action filled duel with multipile combos in it plus showing that Jaiden still has a long way to go.
    Nummber 1: Atem vs Yugi
One of the best Duels in the Series history in my opinion.
Not only did we see Yugi taking out all Egyptian Gods but also Dark Magican and a great finish to both of the Charakters arcs.

I think my favorite duel had to be Hell Kaiser vs Johan or the Supreme King vs Jim. Season 3 was my favorite season out of gx and much darker with a lot of tension than season 4. I feel like season 3 characters that were introduced got the spotlight they deserved and season 4 tried to cope with the lack of screentime with the others ones. But regardless very nice list. I do love all of the duels you listed.

    favourite from each show
    yugioh: yugi vs atem
just a great duel over all showing yugis development over the entire show
    GX: Supreme king vs jim
I always love when good characters turn evil it was great seeing judais new evil hero deck and see what hes become after what happened with bron
    5Ds: Yusei vs jack
a great duel to finish the first season and yusei finally beating jack this remach was hyped up so well throughout and after that 'draw' the two had in the 4th episode it was great to finally see yusei proving he was the better duelest and proving what jack did was wrong
ZEXAL: Yuma and shark vs don thousand
I agree I really love how obsurd and crazy this duel got with all the crazy atk point and life point vaues
    ARC V : didn't watch arc v
but it would probabky be the duel where he summons odd eyes raging dragon hands down the best summon in any yugioh show
VRAINS: yusaku vs revolver 4th round and revolver vs windy
revolver is my favourite vrains character and how he almost beat playmaker extra linking him and just crippling his hand was amazing beating him down I really though playmaker was gona loose.
revolver comes back after 25 episodes +, synchro summon, BEATS AN IGNUS and has a new look it was really great and the story in that duel was great learning what the ingnus were planning the destruction of the cyberse just great stuff.

It just gives me chills thinking of all that is at stake in that duel, all those lives endangered, the present and the future at risk, a fight for two radically different ideals, and not just that. The creepy vibe i get every time from the dramatic chorus in the background, the setting under the Arc Cradle.

My favorite duel of all time has to be the final duel between Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlas; a duel we knew we might not ever see happen again. The duel was so action packed with everyone bringing out their older Synchro Monsters that we haven't seen for quite some time. The fighting animation between Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova Dragon was perhaps my favorite fight animation from the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! series. And the way it ended was so amazing; finishing it off with Junk Warrior attacking into Red Dragon Archfiend, which we only ever saw happen in the first opening of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. Junk Warrior was the one to start it all, and he was the one to end it all.

The first time I saw Sora vs Shun, I thought the show was going in the best direction it possibly could and that ARC-V just might end up being the strongest entry to the series. Had it continued like this, it certainly had a shot. I actually had a dissociative experience with that duel and momentarily didn't realize it was a Yugioh episode; it's that good.

GX did a lot of behind curtains foreshadowing, with the idea of Judai having hazy memories of his childhood, and other stuff, but the majority of this was for Judai, or bad guys. Also one of the few series that in the end says that Darkness isn't evil, but gray and light also isn't evil but gray, it all depends on who is using it. A beautiful change of pace that, it's never brought back...

While I loved most of these duels as well, 2 of my all time favorite duels actualy include Joey and Marik. Both their actual individual vs duel (which only gets minor points for Joey not actualy winning, as that would have been a great twist. Final villain not defeated by main protagonist. While the duel did show how far (in a very short time withoud aide of money, magic, past lives and god monsters and what not) has come, it would have been even more powerfull if Joey had actualy won. And the duel with Posessed by Marik Joey vs Yugi. was one of the most emotionaly tense duels in all of yugioh so far for me (for reference I am currently watching Arc V so I haven't seen everything yet). That duel was not good for my heart. But man was it a good one. To me these 2 where def part of the very best the original yugioh had to offer. I also really loved the duel between Nash and vector. And I also have a bit of a soft spot for the 3rd/4th place battle city duel between Seto and Joey, because again it shows how far Joey has come in such a short time with such a scrapped together deck. See his first duel with Seto, then compare to that one. World of difference. Joey seriously gets underestimated by the community sometimes. People tend to focus on statistics to determine how good a duelist is (like how many of their matches did they win). Which is flawed, as those statistics say nothing about WHO the characters faced and where they come from. joey lost quite some duels this is true, but considering where he started from, who he faced, how he is one of the few main characters in any of the yugioh series that did not in any way shape or form had outside help/shit tons of money/sponsors/magical abilities or powerups/magical or supernatural or powerfull items and or help/past life help/any prior experience with the game what so ever / no super monsters like god cards or numbers or any of that sort, didn't even have a deck that was very in sync with itself because Joey simply worked with a deck that was pulled together from scratch, and every strong card he got he won fair and square from different play style decks.. and somehow he kept up with the best of them all. Somehow he skill wise beats Marik, makes Seto work for it by the end, and is implied to have beaten Yami (he got his red eyes back, and Yami respects joey to much to lose on purpose just to return a card.). Joey is a serious underdog, even in the fandom. Statistics wise he isn't very high up. But when looking a little closer he's one of the best duelists in all of yugioh.

    Really great video, Dylan!
With so many great dues, I’m sure that it was extremely difficult to narrow it down to 10; you did a great job doing so!
One duel that I really enjoyed that was not mentioned was Vector vs Durbe and Mirage. This was probably one of Vector’s most savage moments, while also showing how well Barian’s can work together, without self destruction.

So hard so I do top 20 ! Yes I can:
20 - Mizael VS III and V, I almost feel it the brothers won, one card can change the situation. This is similar when I almost won in Mario Party because of Destiny space ! But thank Mizael survive or we have no famous Duel best dragon master.
19 - Yusei VS Aki ep 40 & 41, a best transition when Aki can control hers powers, accept to join with Signers and forgive his parents. This is only moment we have exchange between Yusei and Aki and their last duel before work together.
18 - Yuya VS Hokuto, the only best duel for Hokuto for me, I feel it he is powerful with XYZ and Yuya been confused, I'm laughing for the end, Am I the only one sorry for Hokuto ?
17 - Yugi VS Marik Battle City, the first duel I remember in my childhood, so intense and see Marik beats the dark side. Wow.
16 - Alito VS Girag, the famous Sacrifice, I know it's to short because we have to follow Vector VS Merag duel but the big point is the famous saddest moment I loose my husband Alito. I really cry everytime i watch. Not in top 5 because I choose about "Duel" mean action and good cards. But still good in emotions.
15 - Shark VS Kaito, the only duel beetween our rivals (choose your side lol) but the best moment is Shark ready to protect for Yuma, redeem himself.
14 - Valon VS Jonouchi, I know he does for Mai and fight Jonouchi before her but I imagine how much he suffered after all the violence moments. I'm really sorry for Valon.
13 - Playmaker VS Revolver ep 44-46, So much intense between main characters, we know the truth about ignis, past and so many things. The only best duel in Vrains for the moment.
12 - Aki VS Misty 60 - 61, both deck are awesome, one of my favourites Girls duels. And with Misty flashbacks is so sad. And the only episode we saw monster can eat human, rip Divine.
11 - Kaiba VS Noah, very very very long but Noah changes him to a stone. Thanks Yugi won and save everyone ! YEAH !
And Noah has great monsters too.
10 - Yuma & Kaito & Shark VS Dr. Faker, one of the best 3 VS 1 duel ! Better LDS trio VS Shun because Shark has bleeding and Kaito almost done after Photon strengh they continue to fight with Yuma. A very good work team.
9 - Kaiba VS Amelda, the last Amelda's duel, the best point is the exchange between duelists. I'm really interesting when they talk each other.
8 - Yuma VS Alito ep 129 & 130, the first Zexal duel I saw, the first episode I saw Alito and the first time I learn his flash back. It's so symbolic for me, the original soundtrack is wonderful too.
7 - Yusei VS Z-One, the best final duel between hero and antagonist, sorry better than Yuma and Shark (and Kaito) VS Don Thousand because: Only Kotori is here to cheer up not better if we have all Dragons from each Signer.
The end of Don Thousand is ridiculous he just say bye bye and we have Z-One last exchange and sacrafice for Yusei.
6 - Yugi VS Atem, how could I forget the saddest moment when Yugi cry even he win the duel, Atem leaving and everything ? Never forget.
5 - Yuzu VS Masumi ep 29, before we never see Masumi fighting again. So much actions and fun. A great evolution for Yuzu and a relationship is born with Masumi. Too bad LDS trio are not F***** back !
4 - Yusei VS Kiryu ep 33-35, the only duel when Yusei loose the duel and almost dead. I know how he feels after the moment with the Giant monster. Sure now I'm scared to fight again.
3 - Yuma VS Shark ep 141 - 143, I'm really impressive to saw all Number 100, Barians appeared with Nash. So much good moments here.
2 - Yusei VS Jack ep 152 - 154 The best last duel in Yugioh series, they find their own way. The last exchange before the separate but they still have link.
1 - Kaito VS Mizael ep 134 & 135, the only duel the winner died. Mizael doesn't believe about his past, Kaito died and give the card to him and Mizael is crying to see his rival saved him from Don Thousand dying.
Sorry for taking so long, it was difficult to choose the best of the best. Thanks for waiting.

A personal favourite duel of mine is Judai vs Bronn, Mad King of Dark World. The sheer balls that duel had to kill 4 of Judai's friends and cause 3 more to abandon him was insane. Bronn, more than Yubel was responsible for the Supreme King, which got Judai to kill 2 more friends. Bronn lost that duel but went so hard that Judai basically never recovered, and that makes it so incredibly memorable

I adored the build up to Kaito vs Mizael. Like Mizael is one of my favorites in Zexal and his introduction to the series (since Gilag and Alit had been reduced to being less serious antagonists at that point) was incredible. Plus their rivalry was always noble to to see their final duel end the way it did had a lot of weight to it. One of my favorites in Zexal, but I like a lot of Zexal duels (Mihael vs Yuma, the sargasso duels, Thomas vs Ryoga, plus the ones you mentioned).
Also it doesn't make my top 10 but Yuzu's duels vs Masumi and her first d wheel duel were so fun to watch. I also wish we had gotten a proper fleshed out duel between Yuri and Yugo. It was too rushed for all the build up it had. At the very least Yuri vs Yuya was great because it was Kensho Ono vs Kensho Ono.

And they didn't lose momentum and immediately kept dueling between Black Magician vs Silent level up deck. And finally the sealing of Monster Reborn in Gold Sarcophagus as an emotional farewell message saying that the dead should move onto the afterlife.

You included a lot of duels with insane mechanics going on such as Aporia vs Jack/Luna/Leo and the Don Thousand duel and I really wasn't a fan of those. I preferred the smaller scale but still impactful duels. In no particular order:
From Arc-V: Shun vs Sora because not only does it feel really technically good but also we go in thinking Sora is a good guy and rooting for him to beat Shun but at the end we're kinda glad Shun won or at least not sure who to root for.
From Duel Monsters: Both of the Yugi/Yami vs Rafael duels, I felt the first one where Rafael revealed the darkness within was incredibly important because the protagonist lost that late into the show in such an important scene. Also we got the shocking revelation that the heart of the cards failed Yugi for once. Also from Duel Monsters I pick Valon vs Joey because it was so unique.
From GX: Jaden and Jesse vs Fujiwara. Not really sure why but I just thought the teamwork they displayed was incredible and Jaden and Jesse were some of my favourite characters in yugioh. Also from GX I think in season 4, Cyrus vs the Jinzo player i forget the name of because it shows he is inheriting Zane's legacy and really growing into his own as a duellist and as a character.
From 5Ds: Team Ragnarok vs Team 5Ds I thought was an incredible duel due to the sheer odds not just Yusei but the entire team managed to over come, every member of team 5Ds played exceptionally and it was brilliant. Also the Nordic Gods are some of my favourite boss monsters.
From Zexal: IV vs Nasche/Shark in his barian emperor form. Purely because it was such a change from the first time we saw them, where IV was the antogonist and shark the hero we wanted to win changing over to becoming IV. But also because the hero lost, which is rare at that stage. Zexal in my opinion had some of the best side characters and this duel just exemplified this in my mind. The fact that IV felt they were in fact old friends in this game stood out to me. An honourable mention in this would also be any duel with Mizar, I thought he was an epic character. His duels with Kaito, III and V were incredible.
From Vrains: Go vs Revolver because it showed me how skilled Go really was that he could stand up to revolver, but also in an almost nostalgic sense because it was the last time we see Go as a hero. Final duel was also from Vrains, Yusaku vs Spectre. First time we saw another lost incident child and it really hit home how good the lost children had become at the game, Spectre defeated Blue Angel with almost no difficulty and broke her mentally but he was in term broken by playmaker. His rage right at the end of the duel when his ace was destroyed ultimately caused him to lose the game. It also gave a completely different perspective on the lost incident from someone who viewed it as a salvation.

Here's my top 10 best duels in yu-gi-oh, but also the best battles/conflicts in anime so far:
10 - Judai Vs Tenis guy. This duel brings the topic of women being treated as objects by having the tennis guy putting her as the reward. It makes opens your eyes.
9 - Yuma Vs Tomato guy. This one also brings topics for debate, it talks about how people get so fixated over the things they love and this leads to them becoming blind to reallity and even becoming extremists.
8 - Asuka Vs 3 random fusion dimension guys. Oh, the dangers of patriotism and blindness towards the government. This almos feels like 1984.
7 - Crow Vs Yeager. Not every duel has to be smart to be good. This one brings what I like to call "cup noddle humor" something pretty similar to Monthy Python's humor.
6 - Yuya Vs Kachidoki round 2. The end of one of the greatest rivalries since Ash and Gary. The emotion of seeing Kachidoki's character arc coming to an end always breaks my heart and leaves me with a smile.
5 - Soulburner Vs Aoi. You see, at the end of the duel Aoi realizes that Takeru won because of his bond with an Ai and this really makes you think about how we relly way too much on technology, this message becomes clear the moment he uses a card that blocks 300 or less effect damage. This is really specific, and you what else is? Ai's!
4 - Judai Vs Monkey Wheeler. When talking about nostalgia in yu-gi-oh, people might think about legacy characters or old concepts being brought back, but this duel is what the fans want. It makes you feel like a kid watching Duel Monsters again.
3 - Lancers vs Trio of random guys using the same strategies. Arc-V has this meta narrative about how the tcg players start using the same decks and same combos over and over again, taking out the fun of the game. These 10 dusels encapsulate that message.
2 - George Gore duels. I... I can't bring myself to write about them.
1 - Dylan Vs Reiji. This one was a rolleclaster of emotions. The best moment was when Dylan turned evil, it made you question who was the actual hero. And Reiji's dialogues were full of emotion, every line could mean both nothing and everything at the same time. And the conclusion... oh, man, nothing will ever top that.

Honorable mention: Jounochi(Joey) v. Yami Marik. Battle City Semifinals.
Compared to the other duels on this list, this one isn't too flashy or have a lot of well timed combos. No, I believe this duel deserves an honorable mention for it's symbolism and importance to the story. And it all stems from the two duelists.
On the one hand, we have Joey. Right as the story begins, chapter 1 of the manga, we learn that Joey is a bully, picking on Yugi pretty openly. Going as far as taking one of the pieces of the Millenium Puzzle and throwing it into the waters. Joey, along with Tristan(Honda) could've easily been the stock bully characters of the series. That is until a bigger bully, Ushio, beats them up and uses that to try and extort money from little Yugi. Despite the pain, despite the threats, Yugi ends up completing the puzzle except for one piece. When all hope seemed lost, the final piece arrives, delivered to Yugi's Grandpa by none other that Joey. All after Yugi protected him and Tristan from Ushio. Choosing to stand by them and take a beating, as their friends, rather than kick them while their down. It was here that Yugi solved the Millenium Puzzle, he was granted dark powers, but his deepest wish was granted. Something that can be seen, but can never be seen: Friendship.
Since that incident, Yugi and Joey were pretty inseparable. From dealing with the jerks in high school life, to escaped convicts to the entirety of Death-T and the Millenium Enemy Arc. During these moments, Joey risked his life several times for Yugi. Including, but not limited to: Fighting a Bruce Lee impersonator where each had a knife in their mouth, blade inward so that if one of them got punched in the face, they were dead, participating in a Russian roulette game with food with Yugi and Mokuba(when he was malicious) and fighting an actual serial killer in a death match. Of course, this is mutual as Yugi protected Joey several times during the original series as well. Joey never HAD to go through most of it, but he CHOSE to, because he's Yugi's friend. Of course, the events of Duelist Kingdom and Battle City should also cement that.
On the other hand, we have Marik. Who, after obtaining the power of the Millenium Rod, would awaken to the darkness within himself and brutally, mercilessly attack his father, skinning him alive. However, he was led to believe that it was the Pharaoh, Atem, his spirit who committed the act. This spurred a deep-seeted hatred for him. A hated that would remain for years. During Battle City, there were several attempts to take the Pharaoh's life and they all failed, even going as far as to involve Tea(Anzu) and Joey. For Marik, it didn't matter as long as the Pharaoh was dead. When Odion fell in the duel against Joey and Marik's other self was released, the torture for the characters began and the true villian finally appears, but it's also why I consider the duel between Joey and Marik as one of the greatest.
Joey, the man who from the beginning couldn't stand Yugi. But after seeing his kind and strong spirit had a change of heart. It was because of him that Yugi's greatest wish was granted and the Pharaoh's spirit reemerged. He was Yugi's strength and Yugi was his kindness. The two grew together and would not be as great without each other. Marik, the man who's own darkness would birth a lingering hatred for the Pharaoh. One that could not be calmed. He only sought vengeance, to right the wrong he committed to himself. But, once his loyalest soldier, Odion, fell at the hands of the Yugi's loyalest friend, the stage was set. The man who wished to kill Yugi vs the man who would die for Yugi. It was a duel of conviction, of inner strength, a duel of character. A duel Joey was poised to win. All he needed was his final soldier, Gearfried, to attack and the ultimate enemy would fall. A simple high school bully, maturing to be a savior and honorable protector of royalty. A kid who at one point knew nothing about games (and was honestly horrible at them) to being able to stand the very top, with only one victory away from the title "Champion". From a simple low to a real hero. A man worthy of wielding's Ra's divine power. The very God closest in relation to the Pharaoh. For a brief moment, the 3 that would stand at the top of everyone would be the Pharaoh reborn (commanding Osiris), the CEO of the largest corporation and descendant of the High Priest Seto, Kaiba (wielding Obelisk), and the underdog turned savior Joey (protected by Ra).
What a perfect, poetic ending to lead into the final arc.

By far my favorite duel is the one between team 5D's and team Taiyo during the world prix in season 2.
This is a duel thats usually forgotten since as far as story relevance goes its really just "that team they fought before ragnarok" but honestly it gets way to little credit.
Team Taiyo were my favorite characters in the series because they were just some guys, not destined to save the world or wanting to destroy it or anything in between. They were just some guys with a dream that tried really hard to succeed, They dont get to much backstory but what we do get says enough.
The duel itself was also unlike any other in the series because nothing happens for the most part. Taiyo does not but stall with some weak normal monsters and outdated trap cards, the reason being that they just dont have any good cards. It honestly gets kinda boring and the crowd even starts heckeling against them. Of course they were playing up to something which i wont spoil ( even if the show warns us before hand) but it ends in a really cool way and by the end seeing them being so happy despite losing is just an incredible sight.
Its so sad that such a well done and unique duel ends up being forgotten due to a lack of story relevance and the characters just leaving as soon as they came.
You can see it in 5D's episode 119-121 although i also recommend watching episode 118.

Really good list! Don't agree with every position but still lots of good choices! As for my favorite duels in all Yu-Gi-Oh!
    1. Yusei vs Z-ONE: The appearance of every Signer Dragon, Quasar's summon and the gorgeous animation and voicework make it in my opinion the greatest duel
    2. Jack, Rua and Ruka vs Aporia: Very similar reasons to yours, Rua's development and the scene where he becomes a signer is still in my opinion the greatest scene in Yu-Gi-Oh! I also really like the fact, that going in you expect that Rua and Ruka would be tossed moreso to the side and for this duel to be a Jack showoff, but the opposite is the truth
    3. Z-ARC Vs Everyone: Controversial choice I know, and in terms of story telling this duel was utter garbage, not going to deny that. The plot they try and force into this duel is extremely boring and makes little to no sense, but in terms of dueling action, seeing Z-ARC perfectly master and counterattack his enemies at every turn, being able to perfectly outdo every single person who faces him, with the corrupted versions of their friend's ace dragons was so entertaining to me. As you know I'm also a Pendulum Magician/Z-ARC player, so seeing one of my favorite cards along with the Servant Dragons facing some of my favorite YGO characters ever like Jack, Shun and Edo was just so cool to me.
Again, loved the list! Can't wait for more as always!

Nice choice for number # 1! I can’t make a top ten list for myself but some of my favorites were the fortune cup diuel in 5-d’s because it was just fun and intense and it had baclstory and showed development to Jack. I also liked the two duels between Kiryu and Yusei in season 1 because of the backstory and Kiryuwas a great character. I also liked Aki vs Yusei because you were rooting for Yusei to get through to Aki. I also liked the first are-match between Manjoume and Judai (after Manjoume returned to the school in his black get-up after being missing for weeks) because it was badass and gave good development to Manjoume. I also liked the rooftop duel between Kaiba and Yugi because it was badass and I liked the twist at the end. Some other great duels are the duels that Edo took part in. These duels handled his character development was amazing and the circumsfrom handing Zane his very first defeat, being one of the only three duelists to beat Jaden, an epic tag duel with Sartorious, and sacerficing himself to save a girl he hardly knew.
Well, I hoped you enjoyed my long wall of text.

5)Jack Atlas vs Yuya Sakaki first duel.Seeing return of Jack Atlas and his signature Red Daemons was awesome and it was great start for a more character development for Yuya in terms of dueling philosophy.
4)Jack Atlas vs Yusei Fudo in finale of 5ds.Final duel of 5ds showed great action, which surprisingly was not entirely focused on Stardust and Red Daemons clash and included many cards that were used by Yusei and Jack before, like Exploder Dragonwing,Turbo warrior and etc.It shows how much this two grow over the course of story and Yusei defeating Jack by Junk warrior and not Stardust Dragon was epic.
3)Hell Kaiser vs Yubel/Johann.This duel can be described by one word BRUTAL.From start and until end of duel it is impossible to take your eyes away. And when Hell Kaiser used his Power Bond and his music theme started playing I wanted to stand and applaud.
2)Yuma vs Shark final duel.Duel which never gives you a break.Shark does one thing,Yuma immediately counters and vice versa during whole duel.Despite that it was still filled with emotions.Spirit of Barians supporting Shark,Yumas quest to find his answer and etc.I like moment when Yuma says This is How I Kattobingu because it says so much about him. What is also good in this duel is that there is no evil side. Both Shark and Yuma are right in their own way and can both be understood. And it makes this duel so much better.
1)My favourite duel in all yugioh is Four vs Shark. This duel just has everything I want to see in duel.Great action, emotions, characters I like.Four does incredible maneuvers to Rank Up his xyz monsters, while Shark counters this with his seemingly invincible number 101 who keeps coming back no matter what, symbolising Shark resolve. And it is good demonstration of Four character development and how resolved Shark is to be Nash. Both of them were perfect in this duel as a duelists and in emotional part

Imma just say the my duels from each series. Yugi vs kaiba at the tournament especially seeing kaibas face 😱😨😰😂😂😂 for Gx :Jaden and Jesse vs Yubel it was a grand debut vs rainbow dragon and having jaden realize who yubel is,5ds:any duel that involves crow is automatically awesome,Zexal :the yuma vs shark end duel it was like a rivalry bromance duel,Arc V:yuya vs gong seriously i loved that duel we all need a gong as our friend,Vrains currently the duel where ai goes playmakers size to save him from falling seriously what episode was that again.Wow i really type a lot 😂

#9 Judai/Jaden Vs Yugi (Even though it ends on a cliffhanger, but I'm glad it happened)
#8 Yuma & Shark/Nasch Vs Don Thousand (Alright, Alright. One of the best duels in ZeXal as #8? Smh I can rock with that lol.)
#7 Aporia Vs Jack, Leo, & Luna (One Of if not the only best duel i've seen in that arc. A shame It never got dubbed, then again It was for the best.)
#6 Yuma Vs Shark/Nasch (ODMG YEEEEEEEEES! HANDS DOWN BEST DUEL OF ALL TIME IN ZEXAL! To Me that Is. JAW LITERALLY DROPPED AFTER KNOWING THAT NEGATING THE ATK WAS A GOOD THING OTHERWISE IT WOULD'VE BEEN A DRAW!!! REEEEEEEE!!!)
#5 Yugi Vs Atem (A major test to see who was the true "King Of Games". Even though it was Atem doing most of the winning, this was the moment for Yugi to really show us what he could do against the spirit of the pharaoh. Really impressed me on how he got rid of all three of the God Cards. Sayonara...Yami Yugi.)
#4 Zane Vs Jesse (Yubel Possesed) (I can see why this duel would be on the list. Hell Kaiser was basically on the end of his rope, so why not go out in a blaze of glory.)
#3 Yusei Vs Kalin (Can't really say that i'm fond of this due cause first time watching that duel in the dub I couldn't grasps how this duel transpired, but rewatching it helped out a bit. It showed me Yusei's first L and not to mess with an Earthbound Immortal.)
#2 Shun Vs Sora (Now i'm just a simple guy, who just wanted to some Arc-V. This duel without a doubt blew everyone's mind with Sora's mood change. From cute stuffed animals to Toys with dangerous objects was definitly a red flag.)
#1 Yugi Vs Kaiba (BC Semi-Finals) (I sat here and said to myself "Knowing Dylan, I know #1 Is going to be a duel from DM or GX" And Lord Behold, I was dead on, but the duel choice was nothing but pure epicness, Both God Cards killed each other only for the both of the to rely on their Ace Monsters to settle their ancient rivalry between Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician. What a thrill!)
Geez bro, you made a long video, but this was the longest comment I made Lol. Now for my List.
    #5 Jack Vs Carly
    #4 Kaito Vs Mizael (Final)
    #3 Joey Vs Marik
    #2 Jaden vs Yubel (Final)
#1 Zorc vs The World (Literally the future helps the past)

    personal top 10
10: jaden vs yugi - not entirely sure why i enjoyed it but i just found it interesting
9: marik vs joey - so much emotion with joey and his drive to become the winner
8: kaito vs mizael - battle on the moon, over the top circumstance but just so much fun to watch
6: yusei vs kiryu - their first duel, kiryu's backstory was cool and the switch between backstory and duel was flawless
5: yugi vs yugi - it's just really enjoyable and had so much emotion behind it, there's no way it can't make a top 10
4: yusaku vs revolver the second duel - losing the cyberse to fire prison but managing to pull a great comeback, second favourite duel of vrains and was just great
3: yusei vs z-one - was z-one overpowered? yes. was he still fun as hell to watch? hell yeah. his backstory was quite dark and interesting, his motives clear and understandable and the duel went from strength to strength with yusei's skills really being tested.
2: yuma vs shark the final duel - the fate of three worlds on the line and that ending was just impressive. also, shark's energy behind his barian hope was just cool, the passion was amazing
1: jack vs yusei final duel - yusei's staying in domino city, jack's going to head for the world championship. in the end, they both become legends and this duel was just spectacular. jack's overwhelming fire was great, the symbolism behind yusei's trap sending stardust and red dragon to the future. yusei risking everything to destroy one monster. and that ending, yusei summoning junk warrior to defeat jack was a great reference to their beginnings and how much yusei has grown as a person since he began his journey.

I would put the series finale of 5Ds, Yusei vs Jack, on the list, mainly because of the ending and how Yusei wins not with the evolutions of Stardust he acquired throughout the series, but with his cards that had been with him throughout the show. That on top of the emotional ride of it being the finale and it ending the way that it started with him vs Jack and figuring out what they wanna do going forward made it a duel I'll never forget.
Yusei vs Z-one was also pretty epic with Yusei 1-by-1 summoning all the Signer Dragons. But that finale was something else.

I agree with number 1. Their proper rematch was really anticipated for over 100 episodes and dialogue, backstory and card game aspect itself was amazing.

Despite being quite predictable, the duel between IV and Ryouga was intense.
How Ryouga abandoned his humanity, his friends, made IV watch every single one of his friends died, the final draw and how Ryouga managed to defeate the absolute winning condition gave me so much chill.

While I have never watched a Yugioh series to it's completion (I'm lazy), I have seen plenty of badass duels. These don't really have a specific order because I love them too much.
Yuma vs Astral: I was always easy to impress when it came to Yugioh. So when I saw Astral summon 5 Utopias in the spam of one turn, my jaw hit the floor faster than Yums eats his duel fuel. Watching Astral drive Yuma into a corner right off the bat was something I wasn't expecting, and I'm surprised Yuma survived. I always loved Utopia, and watching it's evolutions show up one after the other was amazing for me. And then Yuma makes a comeback and actually almost wins. Hell, at one point he took a huge risk on Gagaga Cowboy attacking Utopia. Watching my favorite protagonist create his own future and his own monster, all while defeating his best friend was something I can never forget. The manga duel was just as awesome, though I prefer the anime version because the cards aren't as busted as the manga cards. *coughs violently* Utopia One!
Playmaker vs Revolver 4: I saw several scenes of this duel, including the ending. But watchin the whole thing from start to finish was completely unbelievable. Watching Playmaker summon 3 Link Monsters, only to get nearly absolutely *OBLITERATED* was nerve wrecking even though I saw it coming. Revolver's Extra Link scared the crap out of me. No way would I wanna see that happen to me. The duel was just so intense that the only best parts in my eyes were Playmaker summoning those Code Talkers and the final blow with Decode (Revolver's "Nani" though). Even though I didn't watch the duel blind, it was still one hell of a rollercoaster.
Yugi vs Judai: I personally believe this duel actually happened, but whatever. This duel actually got me back into Yugioh at one point in my life when I felt like I was done with the game. I had forgotten how intense later duels were, and this was the first time I've seen a duel that took place around the end of a series. Watching Yugi and Judai going back and forth (finally Yugi doing something) had me in awe over how intense everything was. One of my favorite parts has to be when Yugi and Judai had few cards in their hands and were just using what little they had to chip off each other's LP. I loved that moment because not only was the music thrilling, but you knew that this was a tense situation because if they made one wrong draw, their LP would take a huge blow. Necro Gardna blocking Alpha, Sparkman destroying Alpha, Gaia destroying Sparkman, Bladedge destroying Gaia while equipped with Impact Flip (we ALL know how that equip spell bit Judai in the ass)...The rest was absolutely badass. Judai's fusions, his pose while activating Contact Out to avoid Magic Cylinder, Atem's "Sore Wa Dou Kana?" and summoning of Slifer...I never got tired of Yugioh ever again.

    First Judai vs Saiou
    Yubel vs Amon

Surprised Bakura didn't make it to the list! Every duel with him was bizarre and twisted especially the one with the Dark Sanctuary vs Yu-gi!
Another memorable fight was the one that Yu-gi gets corrupted by the Seal of Orichalcos and gets DESTROYED by guardian eatos..
I'm also an Aki fanboy, enjoyed all her duels :p Great list man!

It's BEEN 2 YEARS WHAT it certainly does'nt feel like it that's kind of wild. Difficult I could imagine picking the Top 10 Duels of all time certainly isn't easy there are so many dope ass & just fantastic duels to choose from. I'm eating soft Ice Cream & maybe some pizza afterwards. Maybe the majority of Yugioh fans thought that way but I didn't I remember cheering on Yugi & Atem in the majority of the duels they went threw I was invested & amazed at the show the cools monsters opponents going head to head Jounichi Vs Atem, Atem Vs Mai such good memories. Ah man so many memories Atem & Yugi Vs Judai Osiris The Sky Dragon, Obelisk The Tormentor, The Winged Dragon of Ra, Ah man my blood is pumping I'm I'm I'm ecstatic & really really excited Ah man 😆😆😆😆😆 God damn the excitement is too real. Yasssss the MEMORIES!, Jack Lua Luca & Aporia duel was dope when Lua finally becomes a signer & Power Tool Dragon evolves into Life Stream Dragon. Yup that duel went from 0 to 100 real quick. I am now eating pizza. YES YES I thinking about how you didn't put the Ryou versus Judai Gradation Duel on this list I love that it's sooo enjoyable & it taught me something pretty important actually very important to be ready for anything period no matter where I am or what I'm doing be prepared be ready for anything & that there are infinite possibilities not 1 but INFINITE POSSIBILITIES!!! & that line can be interpreted in so many ways. I was actually thinking about the Rudger Vs Yusei duel as well when you were talking about the Kiryu Vs Yusei it came back to me. Reiji Vs Yuya was a interesting one that's for sure. This video was everything I could have asked for & more I'm completely satisfied. Good work Dylan this was nice, exciting & just overall dope as fuck 🤪. I feel you there the Atem Vs Kaiba was a interesting & just fuckin fantastic duel I throughly enjoyed it it was really really dope.

Lets see, my list would be:
    0, Dylan vs Reiji:
A very close duell, wher they constantly change how has the adventag.
It should have ben over for Dylon, when Reiji set a cooky, but he still won.
    1, Yusaku vs Revolver:
Showdown between rivals with an interesting past and a lot
of strategy. Great ending with on off the best "Nani?" i have ever heard.
    2, Yuya vs Reiji:
Both players monsters wher cool and i really liked the catch 5 spell cards game,
that they have, since it looked like great entertaining.
    3, Yusei vs Kalen:
This duell showed of the power of the dark signers and was very personal,
with a sort of loss for Yusei, that affectet his charakter.
    4, Yusaku vs Akira:
The reveal of the lost incident was interesting,
Yusaku and Kusanagi showed a strong emotion and the duell was good.
    5, Shun vs Sora:
Startet of as just another duell and quicly
turned into a battlefield between fusion and xyz.
    6, Jaden vs Yubel:
Surprise ending, return of the suprem king
and all in all a more personel duell.
7, Yusaku vs Bowman (Round 3)
It showes how mutch Bowman evolves as a duellist
and i hope that this duell evolvet him enough to defeat playmaker.
    8, Z-Arc vs Many:
You know, that your antagonist is op,
when new duellist constantly jump in the duell and
he walks away with even more Life Points.
    9, Yuma vs Astral:
It showed how mutch Yuma growed ower the series
+ I liked the cards that symbolisets that.
    10, Yusho vs Yuri:
Yusho showed of his talent and the
    ending was well maid.
