    SOOOO the Phrozen Arco was just a small part of the video? There is not very much on Phzozen Arco actually working; on this video or others. Seems to be all re-roll stock footage or clips.

    Thanks for the making this very informative video. I would like to get into resin 3D printing and I saw a deal for a second hand Elegoo Mars for 75CAD. Do you think it’s a good starting point for me? I would main use it for military and gunpla parts printing. May also would like to print some 1/144 or 1/100 people if possible with the device.🤓

    Idk what slice has to do with Phrozen, and why its such a big deal if they are only shipping a few nozzles. Seems like they want to create a proprietary nozzle which only slice will sell?

      We partner with lots of 3D printer OEMs! Lulzbot, RatRig, VisionMiner, Hage3D, and Modix are a few others! We manufacture stock industrial components for 3D printers, not just after market upgrades.
      Phrozen is our newest partnership and collaboration, which is why we went to Taiwan to record some content to announce the news!

    Something just rubs me the wrong way about an established company using kickstarter to launch products…really wish they would crack down on that type of behavior.

    This is just weird. Why is Slice trying to do a vlog style video to shill a kickstarter for a different company?

    • @SliceEngineering
      @SliceEngineering  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why vlog style? We wanted to try something new! We're getting into producing TH-cam content and exploring new ideas!
      Why share about the Arco Kickstarter? We're partnering with Phrozen (like we have with many printer OEMs before) to bring our components to Arco! We don't just sell aftermarket upgrades, we also work directly with printer manufacturers. Now that we're getting into TH-cam, we're showcasing these partnerships!

    Once again, this is a video selling the world through the viewpoint of the manufacturer. Not quite getting what market need they try to fill? What is that the user needs that they offer? As for perspective of Slice, I have no idea what you are doing here? It feels like a business to business internal commercial. Showcasing Phrozen? I guess? It is just messy.
    Which is a shame. The product on offer actually have something to offer the end user. But if this is who Phorzen really are, then they are not at all focused on the end user. Again, looking at the product itself, that probably is not the case, as a lot of design ques sort of indicate a real nag for elegant solutions as designers. Something is just off.
    What we need to see from them, is that the end user experience is there, despite this kind of launch. That the instructions make sense, that spare parts make sense, that customer service works. That sort of stuff. When you claim you just made a printer in a few months, tell that Prusa on their XL. I hope you guys succeed, best of luck. But you need to work on getting that focus right, if you target the consumer market.

    What an absolute waste of time with this video. You haven't shown anything. Something is honestly sus with all this drawn out marketing and no actual independant reviews. And these big companies leveraging kick-starter to bring a product to market needs to stop. You're a multi million if not billion company in the resin printer space you do not need crow funding.
