Good video, very entertaining. Those timber beams (in tandem) look terrifically strong. But, as you demonstrated they aren't actually supporting. I'd be very tempted to gently tap in some slate shims......and call it a day.
That isn't going anywhere, surely, not that i know your field, but it seems like rather a lot of work when a third gallows bracket seems like common sense to me, those big bits of wood and complex way its put together, currently not supporting anything waiting for the collapse of whats above it, just seems odd.
