Curious why you show the crank HP of the Super Stock (807), and show the RWHP of the GT500(775)? So the Super Stock is 300 lbs heavier, and makes about 65-75 less RWHP…. What does anyone think would happen?
Does it really matter ? Posting the rwhp for both or posting just hp or posting one or the other for either doesn't really make a difference.

Bottom line is the GT500 is making more power than the Super Stock lol. an 807 crank car is not making more than 775whp.

@@raionshishi8290 His GT500 is making 65 more than a Stock GT500 because of the ported blower. Most stock GT500 dyno at around 700 whp. His is putting down 775. So his GT500 is making upwards of 830 at the crank. His video is misleading because he is not talking about the blower. I think he did it on purpose to confuse people. I honestly don’t like the kid who owns the GT500.
@@raionshishi8290 No he's making a lot more power thank stock. You don't need a tune; the increase in air intake will cause the PCM to increase fuel flow to maintain a certain AFR, which will increase the power.
It's not stock. It's far from stock, and it's making anywhere from 50 - 100 extra hp.

Super stock only has 10 more HP than the hellcat redeye and the GT500 beats the hellcat redeye in almost every video on TH-cam. I think a stock GT500 would still win with top end plus it has better aerodynamics and weight ratio.

I own an 01 Saleen SC281 and its fast fro the year, but your car is sick, I love Mustangs alwaya have , nothing sounds better then a Mustang they have their own sound unlike other cars, I would have liked to see a full race from a dead stop, thats how I race my Saleen, never heard of racing from 60 mph and up or down , from a dead stop is the thruth about how fasr a car is because its all abour how you come our of the hole and drivers ability to drive the car

You don’t have to do the brake conversion if you do a 18 in wheel just make sure you get proper offset and back spacing
Not a lot of people understand what REAL HP these cars are pushing. 807 is just to the crank but that is not the hp at real wheel. It's probably around mid 700 and then heavier. I'm not making any excuses for dodge but facts are facts.

Personal experience with my superstock vs a GT500, beat the GT500 by half a car, but mine has the $1 option to remove back seats so it weighs 4300 vs the GT500s 4190.
Victor the gt500 is not tuned on his modifications. He isn't gaining anything from his bolt ons

@@77tt33 agree one is stock and one is not regarding its not tuned the gt500 is speed density and it gains with air flow mods which it has including porting. I'm actually impressed how well that super stock did bone stock, as if it would be even if it was stock or even pull on it.

considering you are 775 wheel u also have more power.. i feel like the super stock would be a much closer race on a prepped drag strip, u may still win but it will much closer as it took u awhile to real him back at 45mph.. this car is built for drag racing not roll racing even know it did really well!

@@thewolf61691 serious people can't comprehend some things like that. less boost is because of less back pressure, meaning its allowed to flow even easier. The dyno 660's stock, the mods he did gave it power. Props to the super stock that's impressive for stock.

Idk why y’all get mad and look dumb in the comments. Stock vs stock the GT500 claps everything up to the super stock and demon in street roll races. The only reason the super stock and demon can compete is because they have weight reduction options, which they need. Redeyes get clapped and hellcats get clapped. On the prepped surface of a drag strip dodge is king when comparing the hellcat family to the GT500, considering the GT500 is NOT a drag car. Comparing apples to oranges. If u want lots of power and a bigger car with more space and muscle look get a hellcat. If u want a sports car look with better handling get a Gt500. Ones track oriented other is drag.
It has the same gear as the demon i'm sure if you swap the gears on the super stock it would be a whole lot different or if you did what that car was built for the quarter mile.

@@kona-fb3uu The Superstock does not have more HP. The Superstock has around 710 RWHP. The GT500 has 775 RWHP.

@@Noesandresss watch the video again. The GT500 is not stock. At the 4:45 mark he posts the power of both cars. The Superstock has 807 crank HP, and this GT500(with minor mods) has 775 RWHP.

Hey I have a question who does your tuning? I have a 2004 gto with some stuff done
Good runs. A couple suggestions. You shouldn't even be racing people because if your blower is ported, and your not tuned, the car isn't running to its potential. This gives guys that chance to say they pulled a ported blower GT500, which is kind of true, but when ported, a tune is needed to get everything out of the car. Way more power to be had even with stock pulley.
As far as the 1-2-3 counts, it cracks me up hearing all kinds of racers count. A 3 count, is supposed to be 3 seconds. Not 123 in 1 second. Just a suggestion. I understand it may be hard when the adrenaline is running, but being consistent and fair is key when racing.
Coop he still makes 100 more crank hp than stock, so if anyone does beat him, they got full rights to gloat.
Love the traction. I was going to take the whipple off my 10R80 GT until I slapped on 315 x 30 x 20 R888R on the rear. Fell in love with the car after that! Only thing is with the r888r tyre once they get around half tread they lose their traction capability. I heard NT01 nitto are like R888R but run great until they chord!
What tires type and specs where you running before you put on the r888r?

@@CoyoteAUS thats crazy because cup 2s are usually pretty good straight line tires. only problem is they ja e to be heated before a run. toyo is one of my favorite tires. ive been buying toyo proxes first on my factory fox wheels and then went to a 9 inch cobra wheel all the way around first with run flats off the 07 vette and i went with my heart went wit h toyos and that 275 30 zr17 was amazing compared to everything. but agree they do get dangerous once the tread wears. nitto and toyo are combined now so the tires tend to be getting more similar
@@carculturenation2166 thats what I was told that maybe I needed to do a burnout first. But I really wanted something that hooks relatively cold on the street. R888R are great but I will try NT01 and Nankang AR-1 in the future as I still want the car to do well in the canyons. I'll get a separate set of Nitto555R2 or MT street SS for pure straight line.

I have yet to see a gt500 wit the factory air box bone stock race yet. You and I both kno a JLT does add power without a tune. Stop claiming your stock when you added power

Ported blower intake and no cats… and no tune…I call bullshit! the mods definitely had a big effect on this race! Watched a stock 500 vs a Super Stock and the SS killed it! Throw a pully on the challenger and remove the cats and your 500 would get Murdered!

I am GT500 guy but this GT500 was modified. What happens at speed, doesn’t always translates in a dyno. I still think the GT500 is slightly faster though.

Dude u dont know what ur talken about. Once you go catless you loose 2 to 3psi depending on the car. tune wont gaine the psi back. The cats are a restriction. Once you delete them the restriction is gone and you make less psi. But you make more power.
Yep, an old school pushrod supercharged V8 ain't gonna beat a new school DOHC supercharged V8 on a roll up top. Plus, the GT500 is way more aerodynamic. The Hellcats are straight up musclecars.

OK I'm confused because any other race between a demon challenger red eyed Challenger versus a Mustang Shelby super snake or Mustang 500 GT. All the races I've seen the demon has bullied it. I know differences of the driver can help as well but why in this race did the Mustang take down the Challenger

A modded gt500 can beat a superstock, sure, but stock it won't.
Gt500 stock makes about 680 wheel.... with a ported blower that adds about 60hp to that. So it averages out to the GT500 making a whopping 13more hp than a super stock. Gt500 gaps redeye by 2 cars and the redeye is up 37hp and more torque. its the Gearing and the DCT that's putting in work.
He claims 775 wheel though, he got more than 13hp on the dodge.
Extremely surprised that superstock held up pretty good for a modified gt500 !

Not less power just less boost basicallyno gain of power. The ported blower is good for 30-40hp from what im told though so they power wise they are about the same in this race just power to weight ratio and the dct won it for the gt500

@@camirocz not neccessarily. Less boost is sometimes a more efficient engine in supercharged cars. A lot of boost isnt always best especially without proper cooling mods where the engine would be more prone to knock

I have a redeye and went to test drive a gt500 and could tell the power and weight difference right away even my girl noticed it. Would have got it but they had a super stupid markup and plus im 6’3 240lbs and those recaros are not comfortable for someone like me at all. Now that im on e85 and a tune i can hang with a stock gt500 😉

None of the outcomes are surprising. The hell-fats Are just that .. fat heavy . It’s why I’m getting rid of mine. They are cool cars and fun but they consistently lose because they are too heavy. Guys go out and dump big money to get 800 or even 1000hp but against a lighter car with even less power they still lose
