That engine start isn’t normal, not every one starts like that
Every single hellcat I’ve driven has started like that. The demon on my channel, the redeye charger on my channel, the redeye jailbreak charger, etc. Every single one I’ve experienced aside from the TRX and Durango Hellcat has started like this

We say stock but these are nothing more than street legal race cars...in the 70/80"s..to HV a 700/800 horsepower car..you had a full blown race car& not to mention but still get 20/21 mpgs on highway is insaneeeee

Hold on to this car if you can! I believe in 10-20 years these super stocks will be way more valuable than demons. There was a total of 6,600 demons made 3,300 in 2018 and 3,300 in 2023. There was only ~1,500 super stocks made since they were announced in 2020. That makes them 4x rarer than demons!
Not to mention they were frankly poorly marketed and lack distinct badging. That makes them a little known secret amongst true enthusiasts. One of those if you know you know cars. It’s the perfect setup to become extremely valuable in the future!

Just actually bought one of these yesterday, same year also just different color. I already have a 2015 Hellcat with FBO running on E85 and I would have been happy with that since it made around 900 wheel pretty damn reliably, not to mention how much money I put into this beautiful Beast but here in lies the problem, I live in California and even though I did leave modifications in 2017/ 2018 California decided to make a law in 2021 that if any car especially once they can keep track of it like this one is modified that you could no longer smog it, and yes there is no way around it I have tried and tried and tried have lots of friends in the community, we did everything even put their doc PCM you see you back in everything every little trick but it will not pass, so I said fuck it and bought one of these on a whim it's only been 24 hours and far but I'm pretty happy with it. Now ask for the giant paper weight and I love so much with actually a pretty rare paint job interior combination, Redline red with Laguna sepia interior which is not sound that there but they did not make those two that long either way I still love that car I will try to figure something out with it.
I hate California car laws.. I'm honestly surprised they haven't outlawed the (stock) Hellcat engine there lol.. BUT, congrats on your new Super Stock!

I feel like cars have become so quick in general, especially electric vehicles, people’s view of “fast” is wildly warped.
Even with these chunky tires I’ve heard people getting wheel spin at 70mph in 4th gear… Doesn’t get much more ridiculous than that!
The "scariness" of driving this is what makes it such a fun driving experience.. I hope they continue to make ridiculous V8's in the future.. I think they will@@Noadvantage246
