W. A. MOZART: Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622 - Dejan Lazić, clarinet • Zagreb Soloists (1991)

14-year-old Dejan Lazić plays on the clarinet Mozart's last instrumental concerto, the Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622, together with the Zagreb Soloists ‪@zagrebsoloists‬ led by Tonko Ninić. They perform it here live in concert on 5 June 1991 at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall ‪@koncertnadvoranavatroslava2197‬ in Zagreb, Croatia.
This masterwork was written in October 1791, the final year of composer's life, and this Gala Concert was part of the Mozart-Year-1991 celebrations (commemoration of Mozart's 200th death anniversary) as well as the presentation of their new LP / Cassette (in 1993 also CD) for the record label Jugoton ‪@jugotonmusic‬ / Croatia Records ‪@crorec‬ which includes this Clarinet Concerto paired with Mozart's Piano Concerto in E-flat major, K. 449 (No. 14), with Dejan as the soloist on the piano. The live recording of this Piano Concerto is now also available on Dejan's TH-cam Channel!
At the opening of this concert was premiered Dejan's own composition "Spring Serenade" for string quartet, dedicated to and performed by the Klima String Quartet.
