      At the very worst, you should be able to dock the space plane to the carrier plane on the runway and have each person control one of ships like that. Hopefully, 2 people controlling 2 different parts of a ship will be easier than that though.

    mat, ive found that in the new VAB if you separate the vessels you can see their individual deltaV and thrust ratio. the game treats any thing that is not connected in the same work area as diferent vessels. so you could just built the carrier plane and the payload separated and have their individual specs. same aplies for rockets. building differet stage sparately to have theirs repective deltaV and Thrust ratio

    • @geos2132
      @geos2132 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @TlalocTemporal

      It would be a lot more realistic if the control surfaces didn't snap to 100% deployed with every tap of the controls. That's a common keyboard control issue, but it's made worse by the untuned SAS giving bumpies to the crew. :P

    I love Captain Matt Lowne speeches. I guess it is a good exercise for you to learn to talk on a more pleasant pace and tone, so British ! (and playing on the Aeroplane ! movie tone a bit as well...)
    About multiplayer, it will all depend on how players and command imput will be managed. When two crafts from two players dock to eachother, who commands the craft? (managing commanding priority like in KSP 1 on the craft names? So you could imagine a carrier plane from one player, the space plane from the other designed to be docked to eachother on the runway, carrier plane cames to dock to the spaceplane, takes off and jettisons the spaceplane at the right moment, normally the space plane player should regain control and continue on his merry way, like the carrier...

    Just imagine, multiplayer will make this feasible. We will be able to have a player control each simultaneously. and that's just the start. Simultaneous launch orbital assembly? Staying in or close to formation on ascent will make rendezvous a breeze! Im already thinking of things right now. make a two or three part mothership, then the rest of the launches for surface base, rovers, and shuttles. Once you park in orbit, ya send everything down at launch. I hope someone does a dynamic weather mod. I'd love to recreate The Martian with friends. God im so impatient and cannot wait. 13:20 I honestly don't know HOW the developers thought that wobbly rockets would be a good idea. It's either that or they didn't know and both of those seem really unlikely to me. Like did they never once try to build a big rocket on the final build? Just one large rocket and they would've seen how much of a problem the wobbling is.

  • @a10miletooth
    @a10miletooth ปีที่แล้ว

    An aircraft built like that using the same kind of stability assists would flex and "wobble" that way, though. Granted that's how it should be without strutting the craft and it would be extreme without it. You should fly without SAS if you want to avoid the wobble, or at the least disable it when making course corrections and re-enable it to hold. to combat nose dips when changing course I set my control surfaces for pitch to an override angle, usually just a degree or two, then SAS isn't necessary and no more wobble.

    I do like the ksp 2 videos I’m not going to lie. It’ll be nice to look back and see how much the game has progressed

    One thing that I think would be cool once they fix some of the frame rate issues and joint rigidity issues would be making one of these launchers big enough that it spans across the two runways.

    Loving the KSP2 content so far! Good to see how broken the game is, but it's also good to remember how broken the original was at first. I might do a video seeing how it acts on my laptop, assuming the machine doesn't explode from fear before I install it.

    At 2:10 it's clear that you still have your ailerons set to also pitch.
    Its pushing the aircraft down and also slowing it down.
    See alot of content creators doing the same thing.
    Canards are not a solution, setting up the control surfaces correctly help tremendously.

    Hope a buggy KSP2 doesn't impact your ability to make content. I'm a new subscriber. You see it often enough where bad game releases impact content viewership.
    Like this guy's video if you like it, keep him relevant in the algos'
