Great vid! a video that id LOVE to see is that you go over the sonic racing games! Sonic and sega alll stars racing, sonic and sega all stars racing transformed and team sonic racing.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I do plan on looking at every sonic game over time so I definitely will be looking at the other racing games at some point!
@@JonathanAllen191 NOPE. Last I checked Sonic Didn’t come to a complete stop when you let go of the analog stick, he kept momentum when he jumped, had good air control, moves reset like they should, rolling worked better and wasn’t a hassle to get working, Homing attack didn’t take ages to do, not to mention Frontiers specific problems that make Sonic feel Slow, Clunky, and stiff. Lack of Momentum in Light speed Dash, not speeding up when going downhill, Sonic himself just being WAY TOO SLOW. 3D controls have way less problems but Sonic’s 2D controls in Frontiers are Horrendous.
Such a great trilogy the advance series is think it should get the love the Mega Drive games got ! Plus SA3 really did evolve the platform 2D genre with making a team combo movez !
This was technically my first Sonic game as I found this cartridge on the floor of the gym in school when I was in the 1st grade. I didn't have a gameboy at the time, until I used my neighbor's GBA. Let's just say that I didn't leave their house until my mom came to pick me up lol
21:40 I came here after watching your Forces video, I thought Shadow was one of your absolute least favorite games? Here Forces has an F, while Shadow is slightly better with a D.
I appreciate you for watching! That forces video is a little outdated in terms of my opinion since it came out a couple years ago. In my frontiers video I discussed my current thoughts on forces and how that game has just gotten even worse and worse for me over time. I’ve also since played through shadow the hedgehog again and while I still think it’s a very flawed game, I’ve come to appreciate certain elements about it and respect it for trying something genuinely different for the series while forces just did absolutely nothing new and has left behind absolutely no legacy. I think I also called 06 one of the worst games in the series in that forces video and I like that game now so my opinion has shifted quite a bit these past few years haha
@@JonathanAllen191 Ah I see. Thanks for the response! I have not watched the Forces video but should. It is one of the worst Sonic games, regardless of what tier it's in. Your S tier looks fire BTW; I'd probably move Sonic 2 down to A but I also completely understand if it holds a unique place by being one of the first you ever played. Unleashed's daytime levels are also S for sure; I've played it through Unleashed Project Complete in Generations (indeed itself also an S). My only complaint looking through all of the actual full Unleashed game is how much Werehog time there is but mostly just that it isn't a compelling gameplay style in a Sonic game for me.
I thought I was bougie getting milk from the drive thru, but you have a milk butler
in a lot of ways, sonic 4 was inside us all along
Too true too true 🥹
it's been among us this whole time
Thank you for bringing back the woah meme I laughed so hard

0:59 You're right, Sonic Advance doesn't do any of that. Instead, it adds the word "Neo" to Green Hill Zone. :P
maybe the real sonic 4 was the ports we made along the way
Every sonic 1 port is one step closer to manifesting the real sonic 4
@@JonathanAllen191 mania in essence is a sonic 1 port, i mean it was built off the retro engine right? (which sonic 1 was ported to on 2011?)
@@Victini7472 That’s just facts right there I can’t argue with that
I used to think Sonic 4 had the worst 2D Controls of any Sonic game but then Sonic Frontiers Came along and Beat it by a mile.
Whoa there, them's fighting words! Sonic 4 has way worse controls than Frontiers!

@@Terminal_Apotos Sonic can't stick to walls like spiderman in sonic frontiers, checkmate aethiests
@@JonathanAllen191 Correct, instead of sticking he’ll awkwardly glitch out and fall down.

That I absolutely can agree with, the team mechanics in SA3 are based as heck
@@JonathanAllen191 Yeah just need Sega to rerelease these games now ! Hopefully on the Nintendo Switch !
The mustache is 🔥
LOL thanks dude
Loved the video but the music was a tad too loud at points
Glad you enjoyed it! I’ll try to keep the music more balanced in the future!
