Thanks for these updates on these gas HD trucks. I’ve been going back and forth over the last year between the Ford 7.3 and the 6.6 in the Chevy.
I like the looks of the Chevy better but I feel like the Ford is a better all around truck. However I’ve been seeing quite a few issues with the Fords lately so I may just end up with the Chevy 3500.
Looking forward to the future updates on this truck though.

Don’t forget they will not rot out if you take care of the frame and components attached to it

I know some have gotten used to late model pickups with large diameter wheels, the extreme example being half tons with 20, 22 if not larger wheels with really low profile sidewalls and so on but none of that is geared towards the owner who has some off road in mind or as good for the crappy frost heave pot holed highways we have up here in northern Alberta and other locations that have far less than ideal roads, never mind the vast amount of rural gravel roads we have. A smaller wheel diameter ( as long as it has enough clearance for the calipers so rocks don't get in there and cut up an aluminum wheel ) with a large diameter tire makes for a good sidewall height which is the perfect recipe for airing down if not carrying heavy and able to flex the tire and get a better ride and traction on rough gravel roads or true off road trails. The tremor package would not be for everyone, no doubt about that but the fact Ford offers it is nice to see.

How does the Godzilla feel driving vs Powerstroke for just every day driving not pulling? Does the Godzilla feel powerful or feels can't keep up? My max tow would be 13K but want to feel capable pulling with eaze.

I’d recommend test driving one. The 7.3 Tremor I test drove was a lot spunkier than I expected. I do live around 400ft elevation and daily a 2003 Lexus GX470 with around 230hp so your experience may vary.

I really like the color combo and tremor package. All in all, I think all manufacturers seem to have issues with their new vehicles and for the prices consumers should not have to deal with the issues we are seeing. I have a 22' ram 2500 with the 6.4 I purchased in February used. It has the 12" screen and already habe had issues with yhe screen not turning on. Search the internet and found numerous posts of consumers saying they have had the same issue. No codes, typically doesn't occur when you try to have dealer diagnose the issue and Ram has not issued a recall. I think it's ridiculous for what we pay for these vehicles.

kinda funny I thought I would really like HUD but I rarely use it on mine, makes it seem like the info is sitting on top of the hood by the headlights to me....like its sitting way out in front of the truck....the rear camera mirror I didnt like but am getting used too it now.....

I mean 20-23 they have problems with transmission and lifters fail. Does 24 have some kind of problem like that. Because I like 3/4 ton truck but I don’t want to with diesel. I only tow about 10 k pounds per year

I’m trying to decide between a Super Duty Tremor and a 2500 ZR2. I was going to ask for your opinion on it, since you own a Tremor and have a current 2500 but after watching a few of your Tremor videos I get the impression that at least at this point you’d advise to go for the ZR2. Correct?

@@vicenteochoa6498 Gas. It will be a third vehicle for towing my tractor back and forth between properties and road trips; so very low mileage per year. I intend to keep it for the rest of my life and I don’t want to mess with diesel problems when I’m retired on a fixed income.

Ford needs to bring back all analog speedo & tach gauges! These bar graphs look stupid and makes Ford's designers look like they don't know what they're doing!!!

Enter the 2024’s. Analog gauges are now outdated and not available in this trim level. I have a 2023 XLT and love the choices as long as in 5 or 10 years they still work.. cross my fingers on that one.

People have gotten more stupid with each generation and the consumer market is ever increasing the complexity to make things more gimmicky and less functional all in the name of progress.
The purpose of instrumentation is to convey critical information to the driver in the most efficient, clear and effective manner without any distractions. These stupid bar graphs does none of that and just shows the designers have no clue what they are doing!
I believe on the 2022 and earlier Lariet trim, all the gauges were analog and they are a pleasure to use. I have yet to have an analog gauge on any of my older vehicles fail - EVER!
