    Appreciate the tutorial but there's no way in hades i'll do anything without turning off the main breaker first. Electricity takes the path of least resistance through the body, and a lot of it will actually arc around your body as it heads toward the ground. It will not be a good day for you, and likely your last day as well.

    Tks for sharing. Question - I haver a 110V panel, and 40 amp breaker in place. Question, I have a baler that takes 40 amp. Do I just plug in one hot wire to the breaker?

    • @KevinPon.
      @KevinPon.  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am going to assume there will be 2 hot wires. 1 red, 1 black and the neutral possibly? Have to read the specs on the baler. If it's 240V then you will need a double pole breaker. Two hot wires that plug in the breaker 🍻

    • @yanggao2343
      @yanggao2343 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually the baler is 110V and thus only have one hot one neutral and one ground. So hence my question, if I hook up to one screw on the breaker with hot wire, that gives me 110V. Question is would this get me 40amp (and breaks at above 40amp?).

    • @KevinPon.
      @KevinPon.  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you would get up to 40 amps 🍻

    hi Kevin. my dryer is rated for 30 amps and 240 volts. Is a double pole breaker marked 25 amps on each pole acceptable? i was going to install a 30 amp 4 prong outlet for the dryer. thanks in advance

    • @KevinPon.
      @KevinPon.  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Jamesley. The answer is, it "could" work. "But" your breaker could trip once the dryer needs or requires more power than 25 amps. So you will have to see if your dryer will trip the breaker or not 🍻
