    Had a Gen 2 as a daily for 2 years now. I’ll never drive anything else. Nothing comes close. It’s big, and it handles Houston traffic just fine.

      @@clinte9897 so city driving for me with some what frequent stop and go I get around 15. My family and I took a trip to the Oregon coast about 300 miles mixed with hills/mountains and I averaged mid 18's. Mind you when Im heavier on the pedal those numbers drop quick.

      75k no don’t need all the bells and whistles. I got a 801a so “mid” trim below msrp they harder to find as all the dealers get 802a which is 6k more then 801a which honestly isn’t needed if you really want a raptor

    Love my 2018 SCAB. Not made for narrow jeep trails but, mine did well on many of the trails in Colorado and Utah. Frickin thing rips real good, and crawls too. Stock setup, like mine, will scape if you get too aggressive with your break over angles. Don't get hung up on the price. Drive what you brung!

    I have one Oxford white mid level package and hell yes it is worth it ! , Beautiful truck totally different as soon as you compare to all the trucks with the over sized big tires sqare boxy look all Silverados ,GMC and even a standard F150 , The undercarriage baja inspired is comparable to none the width of the truck and its menacing look and you do not see more then one ever at Home Depot .Also it has great appreciation value .The truck drives awesome and the 450 hp not bad at all .

      Kevin Trombley unless the forced induction is in the shop for boost leaks or failure. V8 = durability over speed twin boosted v6 = speed over durability

    Of course it's worth it look at a regular f150 that's similarly optioned then add all the other stuff that makes a raptor a raptor and there you go that's how I see it anyway

      Most dealerships only offer optioned ones, so in a way, you are forced to buy them fully optioned. Within 100 miles of Denver the cheapest one I could find was still over $60,000.

    I just picked up a 2019 with the 802A package for 7K under MSRP. I would never pay MSRP for a vehicle. I love this truck! Buy your truck at the end of the month and negotiate hard!

      Unfortunately it doesnt work like that in Canada where we barely get any supply. So anything sold is usually MSRP or more. Mine was 91k Canadian.

    In California... dealers are trying to tack on $20,000 above MSRP. Everywhere you look $78K MSRP loaded Raptors are in the $90's.
    I'm sorry it is push to say it is even worth $78K let alone $94,000.....

    If it was $50-60k, then maybe...
    $75k is pushing it for a Ford. They use too much plastic and cheap materials. They are also not very reliable cars (I understand the F-150 is their bread&butter), but this EcoBoost engine isn't rated very well.

    I love the look. But I'm sorry. Dealers are selling the Raptors for close to $85k. I have a 2014 FX4 with an EcoBoost. I can upgrade my total suspension with Fox, add to my turbo, along with other accessories for much less cost. And it'll hold up to ANY $80k Raptor for $50k less.

    No. Just buy a regular 5.0 F-150 and save 30 thousand dollars. I see these all the time sitting in traffic. Makes no sense. Why dont they just make the F 150 body look like the raptor or 250? Im in the 11 F-150 until they come out with a new body that at leadt looks like the 250 or Raptor.

    Here in New Zealand these trucks are imported and to comply with NZ laws they have to be converted to RHD. The conversion cost around $30k. So once done dealers are selling these for $190’000 NZ DOLLARS!!!! Fml

    Base model price is $55,000 but with all of the packages it could go up to $78,000. Just the raptor decal on the side is $400 a piece. I have the 2019 raptor I just got 2 weeks ago, and I love the truck. The dealer I went to did not mark up the truck at all in price.

    The EcoBoost has lower reliability ratings than the 5.0 according to Edmunds and KBB, it sounds like a ricer, and the interior is worse than the Silverado.

      I just drove a 2019. I expected the interior to be terrible, it wasn't too bad. The design is simple but the materials actually are nice, the leather dash was nice too.

    In my opinion the 2019 Tundra TRD Pro is the real Baja bargain.

      I get it....but It’s not worth 75 grand. No argument. The prices for these trucks is off the charts ridiculous. Anyone who might think I’m wrong, are entitled to their opinion. If you want it bad enough you can buy one. It’s not a point worth arguing. The industry has built these trucks up to be the best. Maybe by today’s standards. Parts made in other countries, then assemble in the US. That’s not American manufacturing. That’s why the industry is leasing more than ever. Over pricing forces people to lease. Not like everybody doesn’t know this. They got us by the nads. This doesn’t make me right. To me it’s overpriced. Can I afford it? The real question is.... do I want it bad enough? Peace
