Worked like a charm. Took a carbide bit and my 90 degree rotary tool. Stuffed rag in filler, buzzed around in area close to clips. Pulled out whole assembly. Swapped out in under 15minutes
This is the video ive been searching the internet for! how do you get the nozzle clip off? Sucks that you have to destroy an otherwise decent assembly but it is what it is I suppose.
The nozzle clip - If you mean the plastic neck clip - it just turns a quarter turn and it pulls off - a pick tool my help. I too looked for a video but wasn’t able to find one. Glad to help.

Just did my 2018 Explorer. Worked perfectly thanks. The 18 ring does not come off but a screw driver around it worked the rubber free.

Awesome! Before I start mine, how did you loosen the ring around the filler?
It actually comes off quite easy.
Just a light pull and twist.
I think I just used a little screwdriver to start it.
It does come off pretty easily.
