I just bought a 1971 TS185 Sierra. Mine is missing all the lights and gauges but it's in truly amazing shape! Apparently it was parked when a loose chain bent the clutch pushrod, and I lucked onto it 52 years later! I grew up with these bikes and have been searching for one to restore for a long time. Your video's popped up and I have been checking them out. Looks like a lot of fun! Also: If anyone in these comments has a good line on vintage Suzuki parts, hit me up!!! (Edit: Holy crap dude! Grinding your fork tubes?!?!???Wow!)
@@ManiacRacing yeah that was a mistake with the fork tubes. I learned my lesson! I finished this bike up and sold it last year. Check eBay for all your vintage Suzuki parts needs.
Suzy TS's are great neighbourhood and back lane bikes. Strong, basic and reliable engines if not abused, with crash damage, abuse from mechanical ineptitude and rust being the main problems. I'm on my third
Currently rebuilding an 81 ts185 haven’t been started since last may. put a new cylinder and 1.5mm piston in just waiting on oil pump parts and she’s ready to rip! Love the videos can’t wait for the next one
I went out bar hopping the other night 🎶 I had enough money to get real tight I blew it all on each and every friend my ole lady got mad and said don’t do it again. Hey bartender. Hey bartender. I want one, two, three , four glasses of beer 🍺. (Not sure if it’s correct lyrics.). Just singing some blues along with the tailpipe. Lol. Cool video.
is there another lens that you can use on that camera? The fish eyed lens for me makes it almost unwatchable. Mind you this is me but it causes a vertigo feeling for me. Love your videos but the new camera makes it hard for me is all I am saying. Looking forward to seeing this bike finished again and correctly street legal this time
Question? Would a r1200 rt bmw 2002 Make a decent cafe project? Or.. Or just make it back as it was in its original condition? I recently got one And all it needs is a clutch throttle, ignition, and gear shifter. But wondering if such a bike would look as good as a cafe?
@GoldGuy I read that in your voice. Lol Awesome. Street fighter!! Good idea. . The tank is huge on these. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks, my guy. Safe riding. Can't wait to see your projects in the works.

OMG i mentioned this bike in the previous video
I made it just for you ☺️🤣
Watched this series when I’m 15 and now 19. Currently restoring a bike and this is super helpful to see

If you are still local to washpa I would love to help you out. I have a few projects and I know a lot about old school engines.
2 stroke monster
You da man!
My 78 has the same rear fender.
nice. i have a te 125. it needs a clutch basket.
Epic ride GG! How difficult could it be to make your own? Maybe a video of a pro building it for us? Peace ✌️ out!
What kind of camera was used to get the view from the rear while you were riding? It looked like you had it pointing at the sky instead of the bike.
Try a different oil to stop the slipping clutch

That would look absolutely awesome as a cafe racer or street fighter, way better than stock.
