Questionable brakes, sticky throttle cable, nonfunctioning kill switch. Let's ride!
Nice to see the TS185 back on the channel.

Man thanks heaps for this video! Got 2 ts185s, 1 had no tank and the other one has a tank in the same condition as your original one. Been looking for a replacement for weeks but even though there's heaps of these bikes in New Zealand there seems to be not enough tanks to go around haha. Just about to order one of these and fit it up!

question about gas tank, wouldn't it be more cheaper to used buy gas tank from ebay? (yes you always roll a dice with used item), but still...

No actually used vintage gas tanks are more like $100 at a minimum and they still would need to be restored.

@@GoldGuyRidesagree, but you have already tried to restore old one (cost some money and time) and now chinese one, once again money and time.
but once again thank you for entertainment! :D

Just got one of these pretty much complete im about to buy a cylinder, piston and rings, gaskets, and a bunch of other miscellaneous parts that aren't really needed. Really only thing wrong is piston is beat up and rings stuck and broken exhaust stud. Never messed with a 2 stroke or anything older then 81' so.

It's a great little bike, well designed and easy to work on.

@@GoldGuyRides The only thing i'm really concerned about is hooking up the oil injection because i don't have the oil tank and my grandpa insists on bypassing the injector so not sure what i'm going to do with that.

Can’t bypass those. These older Suzuki motors used baffled-off main bearings and they depend on a functional oil injector. I learned this one the hard way.
