In the 80s when I was a kid my dad got me a later model of the yz which at age 11 used to scare the crap out of me..crazy powerband. Good memories, cheers Brad
I love that Yamaha, definitely my favorite of the three! It's in fantastic shape, and so complete! Great find Brad, sounds awesome and glad to see it rippin again!
Sounds healthy! Maybe rebuild kit on carb. And just keep running it. ThebYamaha you can still get parts.Don’t know anything about that unknown bike . Thanks for sharing 💯👍👊
I think you chose that one because it matches Beep-Beep.😊 the tank is probably so clean because its aluminum. I get the impression that you really like the color yellow.
That’s a really cool bike. They never were big sellers. Most people had an 80 then went to the 125 so the 100 wasn’t a good seller. But there all good to me!!
Hey that thing doesn't look beat at all I'm 42 but never had money when I was little so I took two 79 I think yz 250s out of garbage looked just like that with the mono shock up the back bone I think my tanks were plastic tho I made one out of two I was 14 years old ridin that thing up and down the roads 😂 I had to stand on a guard rail to kick start it 😂 shifter drum was broke so somebody welded two shifters on it. Like a Harley. So you had to stand on the shifter when you shifted it other wise it would not stay in that gear lol it was fun. As far as tires I'm pretty sure that at least the front tire is orignal. On yours I'm watching the rest of the show now hope you get it going I am dying to here that thing run nothing sounds better then a two stroke !!!!! I just heard yo say no air cleaner keep in mind the air cleaner helps it run better it needs that restriction from air filter same with muffler with out the back pressure. It won't make any power. For real !!!!
One is a Ace 100 the other one is just a Wombat 125, I’m pretty sure. Took me a minute to figure out the Hodakas because I’m not that familiar with those kind of bikes….
@PoorBoysGarageUSMC There was one owned by a kid in our neighborhood when I was young and I am not familiar with them either. I had a 200 Pursang Bultaco back then. Thanks 👍
Hey also you mentioned selling 68 charger tail lights how much you looking for for a set ? Or for all of them. I have a friend that needs a set and I just opened a shop and wouldn't mind taking a ratty sat and putting them on my wall and wiring them up to light up on wall you should do same if you got enough wall space !!!
Look at that beauty.
It brings back memories I had on my 74 yz 80.
Those were the days, bombing through the woods and trails on my 125 RM and running the motocross track.
I havent rode a dirt bike in 40 plus years, Thanks for taking me for a ride !
No problem my man!
In the 80s when I was a kid my dad got me a later model of the yz which at age 11 used to scare the crap out of me..crazy powerband. Good memories, cheers Brad

That's awesome man, Have fun!!!

Sounds pretty sweet.
Good.job. cool 😄👍👍👏👏👏
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
Thanks for the ride-along 😀
That’s a very fun bike to ride if the suspension is in good condition and there very quick for such a small cc.
Sounds healthy! Maybe rebuild kit on carb. And just keep running it. ThebYamaha you can still get parts.Don’t know anything about that unknown bike . Thanks for sharing 💯👍👊
Like that truck sitting in the front yard
That’s my sons R/T Dakota
Loved the memories! Thanks for sharing
That looked like so much fun to ride! Brings back memories for me bc my first bike was a used '77 YZ 80 and it sounded identical. Enjoy it!
I need a buddy like you taking all the bikes you don't need..lol.
I had that exact bike back in the early 80's!
I think you chose that one because it matches Beep-Beep.😊 the tank is probably so clean because its aluminum. I get the impression that you really like the color yellow.
Black is my color, but all this yellow stuff keeps following me around here….🤣👍👊
That was awesome. Must have been well taken care of to run that good all those years later.
Original owner, but it sat inside for years. That always helps
Wow on my 250 the shock for the swing arm. Is further back and it goes inside the frame. The back bone is big round tube shock goes inside it
I found the 100cc bikes to be very much fun and with different pipes and gears are great at a lot of different environments.
That’s a really cool bike. They never were big sellers. Most people had an 80 then went to the 125 so the 100 wasn’t a good seller. But there all good to me!!
Just to find these relics is a bonus in my opinion
@@PoorBoysGarageUSMC it’s in great condition to.I had the same year but 125. Had a good time on that bike.
My finances parents have her brothers old 80 or 100 ( not sure which, no plastic writing anymore ) that I’m trying to fix rn hopefully it’s this easy

When the engine is cold, you gotta use the choke.
Is the Hodaka a Combat Wombat?
It's good that the previous owner wanted to sell them to someone who could enjoy them instead of letting them rot away.

It's too bad these beautiful old bikes end up in the wrong hands.
