If you use two player with a heavy weight + Piranha Prowler and a light weight + Quacker with items like stars or fake item boxes, I'm pretty sure most of the tracks could be possible

Vrapur there's actually a glitch that allows you to surpass the invisible wall by the cannon and respawn by the entrance to the cannon

In music park I actually got a bit further by using my mushrooms at the same time that the music notes landed at the base of that wall it got me up
It actually is possible to go backwards on Rainbow Road. You just have to speed boost near the gaps of the ramp (it may take a couple of tries) and Lakitu will place you on top of the ramp.

Don't know if anyone pointed this out but N64 rainbow road is completely possible. There is even a glitch messing with the lap counters if you do this successfully. Pretty difficult and precise but possible nonetheless

Out of the Retro Tracks, I was able to finish Moo Moo Meadows, Toad's Turnpike, Dry Dry Desert, Donut Plains 3, and Sherbet Land. Which is an upgrade
I think you should do it with a linear mario game because going back will force you to refight enemies, do obstacle that you might have destroyed and, if the game is old you could try glitching your way back
Please do as many of these as you can

ive been experimenting on music park and its easiest with a bike, the farthest ive gotten was to the area after the tamberine but it is possible to get past that one part ( on 200cc atleast )
on n64 rainbow road, you can actually get over the ramp at the start/end, and fun fact theres a glitch by jumping that ramp, going back to the 1st checkpoint (section 2) and then turning around and going forward normally. this causes section 3 to count as lap 2 and the start/finish line to count as lap 3. the race will then end at section 2.

That jump on rainbow road is possible, if you get enough height to get over the wall you get respawned behind the ramp.
Rainbow road is possible for the retro tracks.There is a glitch that you can get outta bounds with the technique that you were using. When you get out you will be placed on the ramp but not the blue part tho.
Nintendo unity did pass the rainbow road from mario kart 64 backward.He is one of those people that look for glitches.You should check out his channel.
If you remembered the retro courses used for battle stages for Mk8 Wii u, that's already a given because you could drive around the courses.
9:36 this is possible, it is in many Glitch Videos, because once you do 1 Backwards Lap, the Lap Counter gets broken. you need Toad in the Standard Kart andaim for the right corner.

There’s a glitch to do n64 rainbow road backwards where you mushroom boost through that gap between the ramp and the wall + there are plenty of tutorials if you want to watch them they are called Mario kart 8 n64 rainbow road lap counter glitch.
Rainbow road IS possible, but very hard. Your idea was good, if you boost and jump very precise, you’ll get up the ramp

Piranha Plant Slide: That jump is part of the track since you come from out of the water and go up.
In the Yoshi race scene with a bunch of truck I found a way to jump up that ramp when I used to play Mario kart eight on the wii u
I hope there is like a backwards150cc mode in MK9. And also the Challengemode. DS is my favorite MK.

N64 Rainbow Road it's actually possible, difficult to do, but possible
There is a trick for Rainbow Road N64. Gotta aim right with Standard Kart and small Character, then accel and boost so you jump outta bounds (Very hard to perform btw) this worked in the Original 8, so i am not sure if it could work in DX
The last one is actually possible. If you back up and then use a mushroom and jump at just the right second, you will clip out of the wall and lakitu will put you on top of the ramp.
So, my knowledge, Tick Tock Clock is surprisingly possible! It takes a ton of trial and error, but another youtuber who tested out every track as was to do it. You should do a redemption video where you try to do the tracks that had some potential over, maybe in a setting where you can use whatever power-ups you want... I'm not sure it'll do much for most tracks, but I know that Tick-Tock clock is possible (Even in time trials).
