Gorgeous! I've never seen architecture from that era - I really liked seeing the houses. Thanks for the video!

It's so beautiful seeing the countryside of Amsterdam! I love learning the history and interesting facts from your video, thanks for sharing!

It's amazing how they planned it out! And it's a brilliant idea, too, to drain the lake for farmland. I'm always learning something new in watching your videos!

Oh man, this journey you are on is so cool! You must be learning so many new and fascinating things along the way! We were in the Netherlands in April and I loved it - totally a dream come true after learning about the Netherlands in Junior School!

Thanks! It's certainly taken me to some unusual and out-of-the-way places, and I've learned an awful lot too which is great. And we really enjoyed the Netherlands too, it almost seems like a shame that so many people just party in Amsterdam for a couple of days and move on!

I remember studying this in Geography lessons when I was in school. Love the architecture of those summer houses.

Yeah, they are very beautiful! Certainly a nice place to get away from the city.

It's amazing what the Dutch have done with their land. I've only been to Zaanse Schans. Will check the Beemster Polder out on my next visit.

Definitely worth a visit! Haven't been to Zaanse Schans, will have to check that out next time!

I was supposed to go biking through here ages ago, but mother nature had a different plan and rained quite heavily for days nonstop...had to carry on to Germany. Such beaut

We got very lucky! 10 days in the Netherlands and the only day it really rained heavily was our day off for working 😂

WOW, this is amazing. interesting to know about Dutch water management. I have been in the Netherlands many times and I always think Dutch people are so smart and still I don't know how they can keep their country so clean.

It's great isn't it! They have such a genius for managing the water - both keeping it out, and using it for farmland.

There is a reason why I relocated to Netherlands, and that is because Dutch landscapes are great

It's funny how an almost entirely flat landscape can be both intriguing and beautiful!

The house you showed at 2:35 is not a country house, it’s a farm building.

That is impressive how advanced engineering was then.
