- This is NOT for women who are looking to do their first big chop. Just go ahead and get rid of those relaxed ends, sis! This video is specifically for the women who are already fully naturally but want a short look for one reason or another. I cut my hair because I wanted less maintenance. Personally, I've experienced my hair short and long like it is now. After growing it out for 4 years, I'm glad I've experienced both. I learned a lot these few years lol. I think I wanna cut it again tho...

Girl I'm dealing with this right now. I cut mines a month ago. I just wear scarfs cuz it's doing too much but I do like it short.

Man I mad the big chop with a shaved side and a short top style. Then got bored and shaved both sides with top style.
Then missed having a ponytail.
So I’m currently growing it out now and I’m at the weird stage of not knowing what to do with it now 😭😭.
Today... I had to bleach my hair to give me something different before I get upset and do another big chop 😭😭.
I’ll bleach it again and go pastel pink in about a week or so!

The sponge doesn't work for me either. My hair is more of a loose curl up top but small curls like yours. Tight curls on the side
I have type 4 hair, it's soft too and it doesn't stay either, after a day all the curls are gone

i wish i would have seen this BEFORE i cut the relaxer off!!..i had a pixie cut..always have..so with my relaxer my fine hair would still curl up and i thought it would curl even more w/o the relaxer...chile fooled me..and NO the sponge does not work on my fine hair. I've purchased so many different products within the past 2 months!

I’ve been wearing weaves, braids and wigs for years. About 2 months ago I decided I was over it and I was going to wear my natural hair. Long story short, I cut all my hair off, shaved the sides and I was super excited because I knew I had the wet and go hair. LIES!!!! I’ve gone through so many products only to realize, it wasn’t the products but my hair type. I love the short the look but I’m entertaining growing it out.

Mine is a a 1 guard buzz cut. Worn it for 6 yrs, it is so annoying once i get 2months growth, soft curls just ugh! I’m not a hair person so by hair lol😂

Hi yes I cut it my edges grew a little I went bald but I made a mistake buy coloring it the color damage my hair again

Super annoying! I just grew my hair out and it's easier just because I don't HAVE to touch it every single day. Takes longer to wash/style, but it holds much longer
Thanks for this video. I was thinking about cutting my hair next year if it doesn't get longer. I've been natural my entire life and when I started puberty, a lot of it broke off. Since then I haven't been able to retain my hair growth. Tragic.

Yes and no. I haven’t a done like a big chop or anything, but I just cut it whenever I want to. I cut it a couple times in 2020, and I’m getting it cut again sometime soon.

You sound like me, I don't want to pay anybody for anything. I've had locs three times, always did them myself. I cut it myself twice. I always style it myself. Also I don't like going to the salon, I feel like the take such a long time to do everything, three + hours to wash, cut and style, no ma'am! Lol.
