Congratulations I am 18 months transitioning , however I been gradually cutting my hair every 10 weeks when I take my braids out. You hair has grown a lot . It healthy and beautiful

Back in the day, I badly damaged my hair with color, bleaching and perms, trying to get something I thought I should have but didn’t (curls & no gray). 😢 But now that I’m “old & gray” I’m finally growing it out and taking care of it. If I only knew then what I know now! I used to hate my hair, but now, I love it. Enjoy your journey, love your curls.❤
Yes, sometimes, it takes us a while, but it is awesome when we start to embrace our hair in its natural state. Enjoy your journey as well ❤️

Maybe try some mini twists on your natural hair. It's easy to do, cute and protective. I have a mini twists video on my channel for reference.
