- Kottichetham is the dance of Siva and Parvathy mentioned in the ancient Tamizh epic Chilapathikaram. This dance video is an excerpt from a dance intensive for international students that was held at Methil Devika's kalari. The chaste lyrics are musically composed by Padmabhushan Shri Kavalam Narayana Panikkar. Joining her is is one of the participants from the workshop and Melbourne-based medical practitioner Dr. Arun A. Azeez.

One thing which came into my mind while watching it is, the way of draping the saree could have made a bit different style so that it should be traditional as a king's wife, but not the ordinary way!
