    Wow, that was very interesting about your details on G23 VTEC built and great information on engine as recommended. Great job! 😁👍

    Thanks! I decided to get f23 crank and rods👍🏼 and I plan to use my pistons. Just ordered my skunk2 cams too. Any experience with skunk2 head gasket, if it’s any good or if oem is still better?

      I only used Honda OE headgasket on all my frank or regular H22 block. We tried Felpro on F23 block(g23) but that caused a oil leak before so I switched to OE after. That'll be awesome build w/ sk2 cams bruh!.

    Can I used f23 pistons? rod and crankshaft with h22a4 block and head Kuya?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If your h22a4 block is 98-2001, it has a 55mm main. F23 crankshaft and rods can be use on H22a4. Use a H22a4 piston, F23 piston is too small for H22 block. With these setup, piston will stick out pass the block about 0.020". It'll be a hi comp ratio motor.

    How bad is the oil leak out of the head?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the oil drain port is not plug correctlt and once it seep out, it's enough to drive you mad. I never really have a issue on any of my g23 build. If you like to use the kstune head plugs. Simply smear some Hondabpnd or Megagrey sealant on it and everything should be good.

    What stage clutch are you using on the accord? And what brand? Seems like its not stiff at all when you drive. I'm needing a upgraded clutch and not sure if I should go with a stage 2 to handle around 300whp on boost..

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using Yonaka Motorsports stg 3 clutch. It really handle all the power that my engine put out and multiple trip (4x) on Dyno session w/ no slippage. Off course it wont last forever like a well known brand. I like it so much that l'm using it on my Civic. For the power you have, l recommend getting a stg 3 clutch, it's better that it can handle more. Competition Clutch, ACT are good. I'll save up and soon l'll get it but for now, yonaka is for me, for under 250, cant beat it. It's not that much harder on pedal, stiffer than oem that's for sure. Thanks for watching.

    does the lighter weight girdle make a differance on the bottom end for boost applications?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure 'coz this motor was a NA setup. I would assume that it will be okay around 450 or something. But w/ the size of the crank, l think that's the reason why Honda engineer design the F23 girdle tied in on the block. I'm pretty sure someone have same setup and got turbo on it, either they're using H22a4 or F20b block.

    I would instead call it a h22 stroker. G23/22 is know for combining the three series together using either f22a/b or f23ax block. Calling an H22 block with F/K internals and H22 head a G23 doesn't seem to be proper, just my two cents. But eitherway, thats a dope build! Been watching some of your vids to get an idea of a possible G23 build in case I run into problems with my f23a in the future lol. I would love to do one someday.
