DIY high waisted midi skirt sewalong tutorial - using the NH Patterns Sarah skirt pattern. Available in UK sizes 4-32.
I'll take you through all steps including inserting the invisible zipper. The pattern is linked below and is an "advanced beginner" pattern. The main difficulty within this is the zipper, so if you're a beginner and feel you can do it from watching the video, give it a go!

Any tips on adding a lining? Beginner here ! TY

Hey! To make it simple I would cut a second skirt out of lining. Make it a few centimetre shorter at the hem and then add it to the main skirt at the waist before inserting your zipper, then treat both skirts as one when inserting the zipper/attaching the waistband. That’s an easier way to do it!
If you see my video a few videos back on ‘how to sew the Ally skirt’ this also shows a different way on how to add a lining. It would be similar for this skirt :) hope that helps!
