I would love to see more DAW recordings recorded as if they were analog. I never realized how similar "Let It be Me" and "I'll Be There" are to each other. James Jamerson was supposedly in the audience at Motown 25; after that, he was said to have gone into deeper descent. Ray Parker Jr. also played on most of the sessions for Holland-Dozier-Hollands labels, Invictus and Hot Wax.

Hats off to Norm/Don/Nick, was sort of interested and just became instantly glued. Grew up as the youngest of 6 and just about ALL of this music was being played in my house at one time or another every weekend. I still have many of these records, no doubt like so many, in my loft (attic).
I've met Don twice, in 2000 and 2004, and never knew that he was a member of the Wrecking Crew...great musician and an unbelievably great man. I met him at a convention for an 80s TV show that he wrote music for (after the 1st 12 episodes)

Awesome group of musicians. The documentary was pretty interesting. Check out PP Arnold’s “Turning Point” album on TH-cam. Apparently it has Clapton and some of the Delaney and Bonnie and Friends crew. It’s a cool album you probably haven’t heard before.
