I’ve watched “The Wrecking Crew” a half a dozen times and it is extraordinary! It’s so important that people know about the musicians who made all these memorable tunes so timeless and priceless to us all.
The Wrecking Crew is a is masterpiece. I have watched it a dozen times. It really gives you a front row seat feeling of being in the studio with the crew shooting the breeze. Tommy was not only a great guitarist, but a master of psychology when it came to remaining employed.
I'm very proud and happy to be part of the Kickstarter campaign that helped get this movie out. I'm also very proud and happy to be an owner of one of Tommy Tedesco's guitars.
mooseboy On that K.S. list also. Had the pleasure to meet DENNY before the release in the Chicago area. Very pleasant man and got to chat afterwards. Great story or many stories I should say.
I often wondered who them guys and gals were on the records I listened to in the early and mid 60s. I don't have words to tell you all, just how much you all mean you me, and the sound that came from your work on rock'n'roll during the early 60s. Oh How I miss them wonderful exciting years. Thankyou all so very much. May Gods richest blessings rest opon u all.
OMG! I heard all these names behind one of my favorite recording artists at that time, Doris Day. That's right! Doris Day!! She did some really fine rock like sides and beautiful albums then. Those names were in the bands. Terry Melcher, Jack Nitszche and Mort Garson used them and it was just awesome. As far as Doris is concerned, they can be heard on Let The Little Girl Limbo, Move Over Darling, Send Me No Flowers, Do Not Disturb, Another Go Around, Rainbow's End to name a few. Amazing.
I saw Leon Russell and Elton John in a dueling pianos concert. Elton couldn’t sing the high notes anymore and Leon completed those high notes. What a show!
Also, Talking about musicians if you haven't checked out the documentary STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN All about the studio session.Musicians who are known as The Funk Brothers.
His Dad had a wonderful gift that Denny wasn't blessed with. But that's okay, Denny is obviously a talented Producer! I hated to see the "Wrecking Crew" end!
would have loved to have met them all to say THANKS, would have loved to have had the Crew, the Swampers and the Funk Brothers together. are there Wrecking Crew T shirts for sale
Wow. I can't wait to see Robert Downey Jr. lip-synching Elton John's song. Maybe one day, I'll be a lip-syncher, too. Nah...that's just wishful thinking....I'm not that talented....

The Wrecking Crew is one of the Greatest American stories of all time. As a weekend musician it has touched my heart immensely.
Great story, thanks to Denny for telling us about the wrecking crew.

It’s incredible to think that such an important documentary about a significant part of music history almost never got finished or released.

The Wrecking Crew. If you have not watched their documentary, it's worthy. Denny started it as a tribute to his dad Tommy.

STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN
All about the studio session.Musicians who are known as
The Funk Brothers.
Every time I hear the intro to "California Dreaming", I am instantly on a leaf covered, windy city street.
You just wrote out the vision I had in my head; hadn't put it into words yet. You took care of that. Thanks my friend. Outstanding Bunne Rabb!!
Tommy was so funny too! Great sense of humor.
yeah the dude was a riot 😂
Respect
Awesome
Those guys (the wrecking crew) were really, positively, truly, hard asses... without them the great artists would be nothing... indeed !
His Dad had a wonderful gift that Denny wasn't blessed with. But that's okay, Denny is obviously a talented Producer! I hated to see the "Wrecking Crew" end!
That intro crushed my soul.
Yeah, see my previous comment.

@JJ Scott ok thanks
OH TO HAVE had the fingers of Mr Larry K. great piano player Denny wish I could have hugged your dad and the others and said THANK YOU
If it had not been something I really wanted to see, your lengthy intro bumper would've sent me packing at 0:05.
I Want Love, the Elton John video with Robert Downey Jr in it, is excellent.
Name of song at 1:35?
I'm not sure. Hello! Thank you for your comment. Let me know what other content you'd like to see. Thanks! thenowmanshow2015@gmail.com
It’s The Marketts - Out of Limits
The leader of The Marketts? Tommy Tedesco
Pay no attention to the band behind the curtain.
Intro is waaay too long.
the intro was so annoying I didn't watch the post.
