I am researching Caccini as part of an honor's research project, and I have been able to listen to this series of videos while following along in a scan of the original score, which has been a godsend for parsing through the older notation style. Besides that, this is just very well done, thank you!
It's amazing how modern this sounds relative to the era Caccini was composing. You'd be mistaken for thinking it was written by a modern composer seeking to adapt renaissance/baroque music. Amazing!
