I live down the street from The Gem Shop in Cedarburg! I love it there and I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go in there, and even more so when I shop their bulk specimens! If you or your viewers are in the Milwaukee Area, you need to stop by there, such an awesome store!
Hey Dave! I just found your channel through this video and I'm really enjoying watching your videos! The Gem Shop is my favorite place on Earth. I try to get up there about twice a year and buy mass quantities of rough to cut throughout the year (and hoard in secret hiding spots). I was excited to see some video of Kowallabe, it's one of my favorite materials to cut! It may look super hard, but I've found it to be quite the opposite! Really soft, but still great to cut! I'm excited to check out more of your videos!
Hey Dave. How you doing. I really like those fluorescent rocks. When I went to Canandaigua rock and mineral show, a guy showed off some of his fluorescent minerals. There pretty awesome.
Hey Dave, absolutely love your channel man! Love the service you provide to the community. Where does one go for rough material, after the Tucson show is over?
Went to gem world. Pretty cool. My favorite in the area was Natural Expressions Inc. in Gilbert. Went there twice. Knowledgeable guy lots of slabs and rough at fair prices.
Did you say Aguas Calientes Fire Eggs??? Whaaaaat? I gotta get some of that. To be totally honest, the only complaint I have about that fire agate is when they cut the window in a couple pieces I got, it was cut directly through a killer layer of color. I know they do it so they can price it, but it is difficult to work around an unfortunate cut line to salvage the colorful bubbles. Especially for an amateur like myself. I would love to get an egg or even uncut rough somehow. Another banger video. Thanks David 👊🐻❄️
hey brother, I’m gonna be getting some uncut rough it’s gonna go for $120 a pound tons of potential for it. I would’ve brought some home and I brought the guzman processed rough this year back from Tucson this year but they completely sold out
I finally found an online seller with by the pound rough for only a few bucks so I'll have lots of material to work with 😃 also every time you said Veggie I thought you were saying the start of my username 😂
Supposedly Amber makes great guitar pics I’ve never played a decent size one. Seems like it’s a lot of work but guitar players pay a lot of money for high-end guitar picks are used to sell tortoiseshell pics for $125 apiece.

The Turkish Purple/lavender jade really works nicely. Super tight grain and give you good carving detail.
It has become my Saturday morning ritual to watch your videos, learn from you and go on with my day....with a smile!

Hey Dave when we get a chance to talk about our Highland saw, I'd love to buy a few of those small Malawi's to cut open on my trim saw.
can you remind me about your highland saw?

I'd very much like to see those Quartzite videos Dave. Rock on brother

Hello from Iowa.
Can you help me buy a silver mens turquoise ring? Maybe more than 1 but just 1 for now.
unfortunately, I can’t right now my friend. I got a lot going on and I’m a little busy until April.
Where is this place?
South of Motel 6.
Do any of these places sell online?
probably a few

Added to my dream list is red uv reacting flourite, that's actually setting I'd love to try faceting
I want a obsidian mirror but I want it very thin probably 0.25" or less thickness
I definitely need to get a small piece of mawali with the pinks and reds
I would only be interested in amber if it has something in it, plant material or anything really. A bug or some kind even better.
Dumbells??
yep but they feel a wee bit light weight i don’t know how well they actually work
@Lapidary Dave do you have an email address or a way to dm you?
@@shellylair8249 i almost never use email but feel free to text me 7722844459
