Absolutely Stunning !!! Wish I was there !!! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos !!! What !!! WHOO HOOO FROM CALIFORNIA ! JOHHNY AND CANDY !💯❤🍀🙏🍀
I purchased an ocean jasper pendant and purple passion pendant last year. These gentlemen and their artistry are the best. Thanks for sending me their way Dave!
Super duper video Dave, I had to watch it again it was so good! Mr. Armando and son what FANTASTIC craftsmanship from the both of you! The wire wrapping is superb the polish spectacular and oh those honey calcite 🐻and the larimar...talk about rock 🍬 yummy!! Thanks Dave the Fave we appreciate and love you so much!!
Hiya dave, What a perfect idea to bring this to us, so we know what to look for when we shop there. More importantly, where to find Mr Armandos' stall. For an artist like him and his son to come and share in person like this is an honour. You've shown some of your cabs in the past, Dave and you are good, but I'm sorry, and not to knock you at all, this work is beyond good! If I win the lottery and can come to Tucson one year, I will buy most, if not all, of Mr Armando's stall. I would buy it sight unseen, having seen it through your lens, but I would love to meet you and your contacts and thank you all in person for bringing this artistry to us. Stay safe, Steve...
I bought an amazing piece of fire agate from these guys last year, but had no idea how lucky I was to find them! I didn't take the time to really check out their inventory because it was getting late, and I got what I was looking for. Thanks to your video, I will definitely be looking for them the next time I'm at the Kino Show. 😃
the genie is what i recommend thanks so much for your support if you were showing up in person to the show to buy a machine, please let them know that I sent you it really does help and if you’re going to order the machine online, let me know I’m a distributor and I can beat almost any price
Ive never seen fire agates in jewellery. I know you are a big fan of it. How do people normally use it? Is it just for display or is it set in jewellery? If you com across some examples i would love to see them.
hi there...great video-beautiful pieces! can k ask what the stones/gems(?) at 45.00m are called and the price of them typically is? I have quite a few of them and have always wondered.. please and thank you---jamie
It's one thing to mention the competitive aspect of cabochon cutting, but you should not misquote the rules. Instead, you supply the link to the AFMS website where the official rules can be downloaded. The number of cabochons differs based on the category. There are 161 competitive categories and 4 different levels of competition. If you do decide to compete, make sure you read the rules (multiple times as they can be confusing) and know what they are for the specific category you are choosing to enter into.
Thanks for this incredible info, we appreciate you commenting. 161 competitive categories amazing! Can the public view the competitors? Because I would love to see that and I'm sure the other channel members would too. Maybe Dave could do a video about the competition so we could get super accurate info? Just a thought. Thanks again! Dave does his very best to always give great and accurate info, but I think people realize things might actually be different in the process of what he says(if people even listen lol) Either way, we love the info so we can course correct! @stephensstones
can you message me personally 772-284-4459n the final points of the competition I want to do it and I want to get all of my friends to do it as well. Thank you so much for your message. I really honor and cherish it.
never, come on down to Tucson and check them out yourself. I like the little guys I like the small venues 😉 I’ll be filming more of the larger venues in all honesty. When I get done with a few more interviews I like to support some of my favorite people by putting out there venues in their booths first to help bringing some business.
Here’s a link to Armondo Jr‘s Facebook page. You can message him directly, and he will gladly help you out. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100039009030028&mibextid=LQQJ4d
i don’t often buy cabs since i’m a cutter but i have many friends in the industry and try to support everyone it really comes down to who is available at the moment. Sometimes there’s a long waiting list for my friends in Indonesia.

Cool vid! Why you get your cabs made in Indonesia instead of Armando? They much more expensive?
i don’t often buy cabs since i’m a cutter but i have many friends in the industry and try to support everyone it really comes down to who is available at the moment. Sometimes there’s a long waiting list for my friends in Indonesia.

Phelps Dodge donated so much over a century, that the museum/library is still sorting it out.
Gotta watch out. Got fake turquoise in quartzite... looks great outside but when you cutting u see it's fake.
