Hi Michael love your choices only a few I have heard of! Lots to investigate! I love your honest opinion of what you bought so I have a good idea of what I would like! Brilliant 👍
Hi Ian, I hope you discover something in this video you like, I highly recommend the Orient Express, if you like trippy sitar music! Thanks for your comment and thanks for tuning in.
Hi Michael, I'll be on the lookout for that Headless Horsemen record! Shemp is my favorite stooge. I play Paul Revere and the Raiders all the time. Our teen dances were heavy on the garage rock genre, every high school band (and there were many) did Animals covers. Great candy bar story, thanks. Have a good weekend.
Hi Ralph, Shemp is hilarious! I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders at an amusement park called Cedar Point, back in the 60s, they were filming sequences for the Where The Action Is TV show, and they did Kicks and Good Thing, at 11 years old, I thought it was the greatest thing I ever saw! I think Animals and Yardbirds were the staple of every garage/teen band in existence back then. Thanks as always for your comment, take care.
Hey Michael! Cool Freeborn album 🔥Still need a copy of Superfine Dandelion 👀 Tiffany Shade is a pretty cool album Orient Express is another one I’m looking for, I remember enjoying it when I streamed Plastic Cloud is a classic psych banger 💥Great grab on the Druids record ✌️I also picked up that DC5 album in September at a garage sale 😂 Take care Brian ☮️
Hey Brian, the Freeborne album caught my eye, and I'm glad it did! Definitely pick up Orient Express, it is awesome. Plastic Cloud and the Druids have taken over my turntable! Cool you grabbed the DC5, great 60s rock. Thanks for tuning in Brian, take care.
Hey Micheal, good to see that Dantalians Chariot album, Andy Summers briefly mentions them in that Police Documentary he directed. Two great Animals albums. I think I’m missing the “Love is” album. Tiffany Shade I don’t remember ever seeing. I think the Red Dog may have been in Denver? Jerry Cole plays guitar on Kicks. Have a great weekend.
Hey Dave, I'll have to check out that doc on the Police. I've been looking for Love Is for awhile, so it was cool to find it for a good deal. I've never seen Tiffany Shade either until I saw it on Discogs. I think you might be right about the Red Dog in Denver, all I know is that it wasn't in San Francisco. Jerry Cole probably played on every song recorded in the 60s! Thanks for tuning in and take care.
Hello Brother Michael, I know where a copy of that OG Left End LP is, it's $36.00. Never heard it before. Superfine Dandelion was from Phoenix, as you may know. With Rick Anderson (Tubes). That album was probably recorded here in Phoenix at Audio Recorders as the Sound Engineer was Dave Oxman. The front man was in the Mile Ends before Superfine D. They were a really hot local Garage band. Sundazed issued a 7" ep by them years ago. In the 80s my friend had a black pug named Gomez. It was great cuz we loved Wall of Voodoo. Cool showing! I scored a signed Berlin picture sleeve for SEX I'm a...and 45 today. $4 Yes, it's signed by that little minx Terri Nunn! Enjoy your weekend, Ron
Hey Ron, if you like hard rock of the 70s, you might like Left End, I actually have an extra copy, stream the album and if you like it, I'll send you my extra copy for VCLT. You can send me your address by email, my email address is in the channel description where it says "Record collecting is my hobby...." I really like that Superfine Dandelion, cool info on them, a lot of cool music was recorded in Phoenix! A pug named Gomez, haha! Wall of Voodoo would be proud! Cool find of the Berlin 45, what a bargain at $4, autographed by Terry Nunn no less! Thanks for tuning in Ron, let me know if you want that Left End album.
What a feast of very cool records. It sounds like Sundaze is the label for 60s psych. You found a bunch of stuff from that label, wow. The VU live, I have not seen that one. No doubt I would be tempted to grab it. So great records Michael from groups I have never heard of
I think that VU boot sounds good, not perfect, but listenable for sure, and it's an early recording with John Cale, which for some reason, there isn't a lot of live recordings with him, so for that alone I think it's worth having. Sundazed releases a lot of great albums that I would never be able to afford OGs of. Thanks for tuning in Steve.
Sorry, it's not Alice, it's the Headless Horsemen, a garage band from the 80s, it does sound a bit like Alice though. Their album is titled Can't Help But Shake. Thanks for tuning in Dimebag, always appreciate your comments.🙃
I'd like to get that Winds Of Change record. Is Sky Pilot on that one? Cool story about Flat Earth Society. I never heard of Waleeco candy bar. Your description of Plastic Cloud's singer reminds me of the sound of one of the singers for HP Lovecraft with that Grace Slick-type voice. Interesting. I'd like to find that Charlatans record. I got a compilation record a while back but I'd rather have the album. I hope it gets re-issued again. I wonder how many people were at that Columbus OH Velvet Underground show. I wonder how many were left by the end of the show. lol Thanks for showing the records Michael!
Hi Randy, Sky Pilot is not on the Winds of Change album, it's on the album The Twain Shall Meet. I thought the story about Waleeco was interesting, a unique way to promote a candy bar. The Charlatans album was a hard one to find, my copy is a reissue on the Eva label, originals go for up to $100, so yeah, it would be nice if they reissued that album. It would be cool to know how many people showed up for the VU show back in '66. I would guess that it wasn't a whole lot, because they weren't that well known and their album hadn't been released yet. Thanks for your comment, Randy and take care.
Hello Michael, I was waiting waiting for your new video today, great opening track from the Headless Horsemen! My eyes catched that cover of Automatic of the Jesus & The Mary Chain behind you , I have it also, great album! Interesting fact; didn t know that Andy Summers played before in The Animals!! Tiffany Shade will I check out! Wall of Voodoo had hits later in the 80s : Mexican Radio and Camouflage. You saved the best for last! Wow very nice Velvet Underground double live album, captured in 1966, before the banana record!! Cool cool! Have a nice Sunday my friend and check also my 2 new vinyl videos! greetz Jason
Hi Jason, Automatic is one of my favorite Jesus and Mary Chain albums, I like the song Blues From A Gun. Andy Sommers was in a few groups before he was in the Police, Dantalion's Chariot he was in before he was in the Animals. The Velvet Underground is one band I will buy bootlegs of. Thanks for tuning in Jason, I will check out your videos soon, take care.
@@nearwildheaven4840 Yeah that Automatic album is magnificent.Blues from a gun and Head on are masterpieces! I search already many years their album Darklands from 1987. Their newest album Glasgow Eyes is also great I guess.I will buy it. Yeah there are a lot of bootlegs out there of the Velvet Underground. You did a wonderful catch there with that early concert of 1966! Hope to find that album also! The Velvet Underground definitely one of my favourite bands! Thank you also for tuning in Michael.Much appreciated!Have a good week and take care.
Nice video! Virginia City, NV, re Charlatans. I have an old record collecting pal (I thinking he halted in the 80s) back in Lakewood now - last name of Ragone.
Thanks for the info on the Charlatans. I knew it was not in San Francisco, so thanks for clearing that up. Lakewood has a lot of great record stores, so your friend might be tempted to start collecting again! Thanks for tuning in and take care.
Awesome 60’s records .A good array of albums Michael . Thanks for showing . Much appreciated
And much appreciation to you for tuning in! Thanks Craig.
Washburn Candy made Waleco bars in Brockton Ma. Walecos were dark chocolate coconut bars. The company closed a few years back.
Thanks for the info, I thought it was a cool story, a fun way to promote a candy bar! Thanks for watching.

Very cool, many thanks Near Wild Heaven ✌️🤘 interesting Alice Cooper sounding stuff at the beginning there🤘 that's gotta be Alice right😂
