I love that the cars and bids channel is trying to make different content than Doug. I like this new style and like that this channel is starting to be more original!
I agree, it’s the car Tom Cruise drove in Rain Man (1988) where he imports Lamborghini Countach’s from Italy at the start of the movie. I sat in one similar to it. A Grey with red interior one. And O.M.G the interior was so comfortable, spacious yet cosseting. Additionally it had this wonderful smell of leather. Suddenly it went many notches up on my wish list.
@@jasonknight5863 Oh yes, now I remember the Rain man scene. He drives the 400 on his way to Palm Springs, CA. Then he gets a call or something and makes a u-turn back to LA I think….😉
@@longbeachcarguy yes you got it! I thought it was an interesting car choice for him back when I was a teen watching it and up until 5 years ago until I started appreciating them much more after sitting In one from a collector who had all the Ferrari Models. I believe Tom drove up to the Dock’s too at the start when they were unloading all the Countach off the boats and he wanted to inspect them to flip them at a profit. Man had his character held onto them until this year he would have made an 800% profit on each Lamborghini. Probably those were the one that Doug recently got too in his white 88’ Countach.
If I had the chance to have dinner with a (living) hero of my choosing... I'd choose Donald Osborne, no question. He knows classic cars, architecture, fashion, food and he was a freakin professional Opera singer in Italy. What a man
This channel has succeeded in something that most usually fail. And that is to bring new type of content and new people into the mix, great job! Donald Osborne is great information source with Leno on the audrain show but great to see him tell stories on his own too.
Love the content. I think a CaB polo shirt would be a step up for wardrobe. Even Jay Leno will occasionally wear something other than denim. Especially when next to Donald Osborne
Awesome 2 part series, Kennan!...You're doing great, and I'm now looking forward to all your content to hear the so-called "nerding out." It's what I want from a car channel, facts and background about design and evolution. Thankfully, you don't do donuts with the cars, I hate when they do donuts...🙄
Doug settled for a Silver Carrera GT when all his life he craved a Yellow one. He sold Cars & Bids and made a great deal of money. Which bought the Carrera GT….he should have added the extra money since he could have afforded it easily, and have a dazzling color that’s rare and will go up value more over the years.
@@brianjames5685 🤷🏼♂️🤣😂 well that would destroy the factory silver paint wouldn’t it? but it’s an idea. But then again shouldn’t it protect the paint. If it’s a P.P.F it would. Do they sell them in any color you want? Or just clear ?
@@jasonknight5863Why would a wrap “destroy the paint”? A wrap is a great idea. It PROTECTS the paint, gives him the yellow he wants, and is WAAAAYYYY cheaper than paying the premium for factory yellow.

I dont know how all the comments on this channel seem very unnatural and pushing it too much
Thanks! Not everyone likes the deep dive on quirks and features.
@@carsandbids38 million dollars says plenty do!
Let's hope Kennan will be entertaining us with even more car museums like this, would be nice to see Petersen also!
We love the Petersen!
Absolutely brilliant video, loved seeing Kennan along with Donald Osborne
They would go on for days if we let them.
I admit, when the non-Doug videos first started i was not a fan, but I am really enjoying them now. Great job!
Thanks! We are just trying some things to see what y'all like.
This is the very BEST Cars & Bids YT video to date imo. I've seen about 80% of them and I really dig this new angle. I hope this continues!
Glad you liked it!
The Porsche lineup is absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to hear more about how the owner was able to get all of them chassis 486
Thanks for the tour! And for introducing us to these two passionate gentlemen. Cheers!
Thanks!
I would have asked Donald to sing for us all. What a legend.
That was incredible. I can listen to Donald Osborne talk about cars for hours on end.
We had wayyyy more but thought this was long enough for the video.
we want it all@@carsandbids
Love the Ferrari 400 design. Such an elegant classic. Thxs for featuring it!

That yellow Porsche line up is stunning.
It is gorgeous.
Really enjoyed this. Great work Kennan!
Ive been to the museum twice and its the great
It is one of the greats.
I was actually at the Audrain Museum when the Chiron was on display. It’s one of my favorite car museums.
Donald Osborne is a great presenter
Excellent work. So difficult to chooses what to share, what a collection!
😂😅 Gorgeous absolutely beautiful collection of both classic and modern rare vehicles. What motoring wet-dreams are made of! 👍
I've been to the museum, and it was great. It's wonderful to peek at the larger collection and hear about a few of the gems in there. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved that 85 MPH Ferrari story 😊
Kennan's videos are the best! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks! We think he is really coming into his own.
Well done, Kennan! 👌🏼
Thank you! 😁

Yeah, 190e is pretty amazing
Donald Osbourne is awesome!!
He is the best!
Amazing cars 👍🏼
They are!
Ohh man I missed the Sl65 black when I went to the museum how nice, and when is that evo2 going to be in the showroom?!
SL65 is such an awesome machine.
What a lucky roll on a name like Don Osborne.
Whwts the production number of the Mercedes Evo II?
You know you're rich when you like a number and only collect that chassis #

We had a great time up there, can't wait for next year.
if Donald said to me "This is a car you can drive everyday". I'd say "Thankyou Donald. pass me the keys I'll be back in a little while"
Never hurts to ask!
Yellow is for Porsche because the Baden-Wurtenburg colors are Yellow and Black
Good fact!

Great merch idea, big logo? little logo? patterns?
