No wonder this is such a killer drum circle. Arthur Hull is the "Father of All Drum Circles" He has books out on this, and knows how to facilitate! I have been fortunate to be at Paralounge Drum Gathering with him facilitating us and leading workshops two different Paralounge's. He is the most amazing leader I have ever had the pleasure to drum with- EVER!!!!
He's incredible, I'm also very fortunate right now as I'm lucky enough to be just a few rooms down from him at wiston lodge Scotland all week, it's been an incredible week so far
The man in the center is Arthur Hull. He is considered by most of us involved in serious drum circle work to be the Grandfather of the Drum Circle Movement in America and now the world. His work is called Village Music Circles. He travels all over the world teaching drum circle facilitation. He is amazing! Awesome drummer as well! He played with Baba Olatunji when African drumming first came to the USA long ago. The organizers here are the annual Namm Conference.
Currently at a village music playshop in Scotland watching this video in bed a few doors down from Arthur's room and it's just such an honour to spend a week in the same house as Arthur Hull himself he is absolutely incredible and I've had 5 days to bond with him already, so lucky
I'm currently on an intensive village music circle week course run by Arthur Hull the man in the middle of this circle and there is much more to a facilitator than meets the eye it's deeper than that and we've learnt all about how it's about the whole group and the facilitator is there to guide and flow with the group and I'm lucky to be on a course run by the man himself
Thanks Brendon,I was there.I can just see the back of my head!Arthur Hull & Christine Stevens......What a combination!

Sounds good! Been to NAMM a time or two for work and a little occasional debauchery.
The gentleman in the middle is Arthur Hull. :)
reminds me of Ewoks and Return of the Jedi.
This looks like so much fun! I agree though, MORE COWBELL!!!
this is so cool!!
MORE COWBELL!!!
these are cool. i hate to see them become monetised by people. And run by 'facilitators????'.

I did it at my school
Where's Christopher Walken when you need him? Thanks for sharing; great circle!
This happened.
Monotonous with too much shouting. I lead drum circles better than this.
